The very next morning Adyah walked up considerably refresh. His injuries have also seemed to heal a bit as such basic function like walking was no longer a problem. He got off his bead and in about half an hour was done with the toiletries and breakfast. On normal days he would have to join in with others to do the field works but thankfully because of his recent advancement he talked with the village head to take some days off work until the Awakening ceremony.
With a placid face he calmy walked out of the village it took him a few minutes before arriving in the wild. A few minutes later he finally makes it to his destination. Front of him stood a tree so huge that it was almost stretching to the sky itself, its branch spreading far in the area. Its trunk wasn't also something even tens of men could hope to hold together and yet it was by far the safest place Adyah has come across in the wild.
A shelter.
The wild wasn't a place a child his age could hope to survive, even though there were no evolved magical beast momentarily. It was due to the low mana density and also because the lord of the territory periodic check outs of threats. But the lord only kills those which can cause severe harms to its people as such even through the open field might be overly safe the same can't be said for the wild. Thankfully, he had a place that says otherwise.
Adyah slowly climbed the tree his movement were fluid it took him some time to reach the top due to his injured body, he then stepped on one of the branches and arrived in front of a rough structure, built with woods and grass hardly of any shape but enough space for him to lay down in.
A slight smile formed on his face as he enters the shade and observe it, 'my memory of this is still fresh as ever I remember I used to come here after sparring with Sophie and digesting the knowledges regarding spells. It was in this place vicinity that we had our first meeting, I doubt if not for my survival methods, it won't be possible for her to even notice me. Also, because she saw me fighting a hyena that day and made it out alive in that fight that she even started teaching me after that.' Sighing he sat down in a lotus position.
Such was the world it only cared about the strong and only their word matters. He was sure if he were to be killed that day no doubt Sophie would have helped him escape death. But she wouldn't have spared him single glance after that. She was kind but had no desire to protect a nobody.
"If everything were to go as in the past, I would be successfully recruited to the magic academy in a week and unlike Sophie who would advance to a mage right there. I sadly took a year of learning before becoming a true mage. though this time I won't only become a mage with her. I would do so by shocking them all." He muttered to himself. Finished planning he started circulating his mana in a particular manner. He then began some incantation moments later tiny visible particles started gathering around him trying to enter his body, these were mana particles.
They were shockingly concentered form of mana that should only be present in mana stone or around an area having a mana veins.
Mana, a natural energy sources that was universally present all over the world. It helped all the being in the world thrive irrespective to their origins. Despite being everywhere, the mana in the atmosphere wasn't considered pure and even harmful to a human body if absorbed directly. That's why different circulation formulas were invented to absorb mana in the human body without harm.
But even with the circulation formulas absorbing mana in the human body was a tedious and time-consuming task as not only the impure mana in the atmosphere was tediously low, but that was also more awful in case of pure mana. Thus, it could take years or even decade if one were to depend on mana absorption from the surroundings solely. The condition's being more severe for someplace like the Thertha kingdom, a backward place with little to nothing mana density.
With time and magic advancement different alternatives were made to overcame this. Such as mana stone, a stone full of concentrated pure mana. As well as the only accepted currency of the magic world.
Mana stones were either crafted artificially over a span of time by a mage or through naturally formed mana veins. Though both were things that the present Adyah could never hope to be in possession of but that doesn't mean that he was helpless. His biggest backer was the very old tree he currently sat on. Although it might appear nothing but a big block of woods to others to current him it was a more than a peerless treasure.
The old tree has absorbed the surrounding mana for decades. naturally it was its own entirely and not something others could possibly rob of him. Unfortunately for the tree, Adyah seems to know some mysterious incantation that could achieve that.
With the help of incantations not only was he able to extract the trees mana but it was also in its most pure and concentrated form making it almost visible to naked eye.
The pure and abundant mana particles were shifty absorbed by Adyah as the time passes more and more mana particles were absorbed adversely the old tree started to wither visibly some of its branches that was ones spread like sturdy iron was now close to break like a twig.
'Now all that remains is to construct a perfect spell model as my foundation.'
If anyone were to perceive Adyah thoughts, they would surely call him crazy.
Leaving the matter of achieving the peak of a mage apprentice aside as that was something that kept numerous apprentices struggling for years but there were also numerous individuals who could achieve that in a span of months given enough resources. Even then Adyah would suppress them by far as not only, he was thinking to achieving the peak of mage apprentices he was hoping to do so in mere weeks. Shockingly even that wasn't enough for him.
He was also aiming to construct a perfect spell model as his final step before advancing to a mage.
A perfect spell model was hard to construct even for a proper mage, constructing a basic rudimentary spell model to one's consciousness requires months for an ordinary mage apprentice if not years this has been so far a universally accepted method to advance to a true mage. And yet millions failed to advance even with this criteria and Adyah was thinking of constructing a perfect spell model in just a week period it was nothing more than a suicidal act.
Though Adyah was anything but ordinary he was a divine being in his past life someone who surpassed everybody when it comes to magic. As such being able to construct a perfect spell model was nothing but a child play for him.
At first, he was thinking of constructing an advance elemental spell model as his first spell an impossible feat that nobody could even achieve in the coming years. Making a statement. But after some thoughts he was against it, not because a normal elemental spell model was hundreds of times harder to construct then a basic spell model and an advance one was even harder. Rather it was due to his inability to sense any elements. which came as a surprise to him. As far as he can remember his affinity toward his element was higher than elite tier as such there shouldn't have been such a hindrance normally.
To be a mage one needed to have two basic requirements one was the element they were born with and secondly their affinity toward that element, the rarer the element the harder it was to have a higher affinity for that. Fortunately, unlike the first, affinity toward an element can be increased by practice and different methods.
Normally a person would be born with at least one type of element having at least normal affinity which was further divided into four categories for elements namely Common, advance, rare, and unique.
The affinities can also be classified into five different categories from normal, elite, transcendence, heavenly, and divine affinity.
While Normal being the lowest and Divine the highest level of affinity a mage could possibly achieve.
Historically it was almost impossible for an individual to possess a unique element with a higher affinity than normal. Not only that the number of individuals that were inherently born with Unique element was also Considerably low in counts. Even in hundreds of thousands only one individual might have the luck to be born with it.
Adyah was one such lucky individual and so was Sophie, it was also because of his unique element that came to light at the awakening ceremony that he was accepted as a student to the magic academy despite being a commoner as well as a level six mage apprentice that was so in his past life.
The same thing was also the reason behind him being the most powerful mage in the whole of Ekashyakurt continent, second to none. A Divine.
But at present he wasn't so confident about this anymore. He was already aware that there has to a foul play or something for his regression therefore the premonition. Only now did he become a little afraid. Things weren't as easy as he thought them be. As not only, he couldn't feel his element at all, but he appeared to be shunned by it completely. It was as if there was nothing to be so.
'Things might be more peculiar than I initially thought they are.' For the first time after his regression Adyah was a little hesitant about his future and what will become of it. If things were to go differently from his past.
