Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Invincible F-Rank

Chapter 9: Invincible in the same Rank.

----

The streets were calm when Kent strolled back home. The echoes of his earlier fight still played in his head—a smug grin plastered across his face.

"Two against one, and they still couldn't lay a finger on me," Kent muttered proudly, kicking a small stone along the path.

"At this rate, I'm not just F-Rank—I'm invincible F-Rank!"

The soft glow of streetlights flickered, and Kent's mood was soaring. Every muscle in his body felt tight, brimming with energy from the physique fruits he'd eaten earlier.

The small glow of Heart Fire in his chest still pulsed faintly, reminding him of the day's spoils.

When Kent walked into the house, Nima was already asleep, snuggled under her blanket. Her soft snores echoed faintly, making him pause.

"Sleeping like a baby," Kent whispered, grinning. "Good. Less trouble for me tonight."

He slipped into the small, creaky chair by the table and summoned the system screen.

System Panel

SP Balance: 24,800

"Twenty-four thousand," Kent whispered with glee, rubbing his hands together. "Time to test my luck on the lottery again."

The glowing Lottery Wheel appeared in the air before him. Its edges spun with faint sparks of light, divided into empty spaces and glowing slots. Kent's eyes sparkled.

"Come on, big rewards!" he said, pressing the spin button.

Spin 1: Empty

"Okay… first one's just a warm-up."

Spin 2: Minor Energy Recovery Pill

"Eh, not bad. Could be useful later."

Spin 3: Physique Enhancement Fruit

Kent's grin widened. "Jackpot! Another one!"

He kept spinning, the wheel flashing brightly each time.

Spin 4: Physique Enhancement Fruit

Spin 5: Empty

Spin 6: Physique Enhancement Fruit

By the end of his spins, Kent had three more Physique Enhancement Fruits in his inventory. His excitement was practically radiating off him.

Current SP Balance: 21,800

Inventory: 3 Physique Enhancement Fruits

Kent summoned one of the fruits. It appeared in his palm—vibrant blue, glowing faintly with energy.

"This stuff is better than steroids," Kent said, holding the fruit up like a trophy.

"What will happen when I eat physical enhancement fruit in max out body?"

He tilted his head back and swallowed the fruit whole.

GULP!

The moment it hit his stomach, it just vanished.

Ding!

"Physique Enhancement Boost. Strength +50%. Endurance +50%."

"Woo!" Kent flexed his arm, watching the muscles bulge slightly beneath his coat.

So now I will only get a boost from eating the fruit. It makes me stronger for some time.

Kent stood up and stretched. His body felt solid, like an unbreakable wall of steel. He clenched his fists, marveling at the sheer power coursing through him.

"Not bad. Not bad at all," Kent muttered, smirking. He reached for a nearby wooden chair and lifted it effortlessly with one hand, spinning it around like it weighed nothing.

THUD!

He set the chair down, his grin widening. "I'm like a strength-type awakened now, but all I did was eat a bunch of glowing fruits. Those guys out there? They train for years for what I just got overnight."

Let me buy two more spiritual fruits. I have enough Spiritual points for that. What will happen if I eat those? Will I rank up again?

I can't wait to see.

Shop:

Spiritual Fruit

10,000 SP ------------- Buy

He pressed the buy, Then he bought two spiritual energy fruits/ cultivation fruits from the system shop.

After eating the fruits he felt like his body now held more power. More spiritual energy. Did I level up? Why is anything happening like last time?

System says something then a notification comes.

Rank: F level (middle)

He quickly checked the world alliance forum ranks. To verify all the ranks. There Kent finds out. Each level has three stages.

1 lower

2. Middle

3. Peak

He also finds out some hidden information. There were some ruins full of treasure and danger that have been opening all over the world for the past two or three years.

Many people enter there and never return again. Some return with a lot of treasure. Many organisations or governments or clans control this ruin when it appears.

Kent says. It's too dangerous. Hmm. But I don't have to worry about that.

Government will look after that. Right now I just need to get stronger.

Then his mind returned to his rank situation.

So I am at the middle of F level. I have to work hard to earn some more Spiritual points. I have to reach the peak rank first. Then level E.

Let's make dinner now. I have to wake Nima from her sleep. I have so much work to do at home.

Next day-

The school bell rang loudly as Kent dragged his feet into class, still feeling the weight of yesterday's events.

He slumped into his seat at the back, yawning lazily.

His eyes darted around the room; everything seemed normal at first.

Ryan, the musclehead who had caused chaos before being taken by the government, was sitting smugly in his chair again.

The guy flexed his arms for no reason, grinning at anyone who made eye contact.

"Hey, the muscle- for- brains is back," Kent muttered to himself. "He didn't stay gone for long."

Ryan's voice boomed across the classroom, cutting through Kent's thoughts.

"Guess who's back, losers? That's right, your future number- one hero!"

Hek Hek Hek! (Laughs)

Students groaned, rolling their eyes, but some whispered in awe about Ryan's powers.

Just then, the classroom door creaked open, and their homeroom teacher walked in with a stern expression.

The usual chatter quickly died down. She set a stack of papers on the desk and adjusted her glasses, scanning the room.

"Settle down, everyone. I have an important announcement," the teacher said, her voice sharp and serious.

Kent raised an eyebrow. "What now?" he whispered.
