Chapter 1 - Beyond Time: The Love That Shaped Universes

In a universe, there was a billionaire and world-renowned genius named Takatora. He was also a Nobel Prize winner in mathematics and physics. Takatora was in love with a girl who was his best friend. Her name was Honaka. They had been friends for ten years. Honaka was a simple and loyal girl with many responsibilities, so she did not want a boyfriend.

Finally, Takatora confessed his love for her at her birthday party, in front of everyone.

Takatora: Honaka, I want to tell you something.

Honaka: Yes, what is it?

Takatora: When we first met in grade 6, I had a crush on you...

I'm finally saying this—will you marry me, Honaka?

Honaka: I'm sorry. I respect your feelings, but we are just good friends. I don't feel the same way about you. I can't be with you.

Takatora: If you ever need me, I will always be there for you. I love you in every universe.

Suddenly, Takatora's assistant interrupted.

Assistant: Sir! Your rival, Mr. Ranji, is attacking this party. We should leave immediately!

(Ranji was Takatora's classmate and enemy. Honaka had rejected Ranji four years ago, and since then, he wanted to take revenge on her.)

A sniper shot Honaka, killing her instantly. Another shot was fired, and the bullet hit Takatora in the chest.

Assistant: Bodyguards, protect Sir Takatora! We need to get him to the hospital immediately!

(After the operation...)

Doctor: Mr. Takatora is in a coma, and he may lose his memory.

Assistant: Doctor, what should we do now?

Doctor: There's nothing more we can do except take care of him.

(Six months later, Takatora woke up from his coma.)

Takatora: Where is Honaka?

Assistant: Sir, you were in a coma for six months. She died during that attack.

Takatora: Who attacked the party? Bring him to me at any cost.

Assistant: Yes, sir. But... she didn't love you. Why are you doing this?

Takatora: She was my first love. You can't understand how much I loved her, even if she couldn't be mine.

Assistant: Sir, I understand the pain of one-sided love. I will bring Mr. Ranji, the one who attacked the party, before you.

(A few days later, Ranji was caught and brought to Takatora.)

Takatora: Ranji, why did you attack the party and kill Honaka?

Ranji: I wanted to take revenge on you. I couldn't stand your success. I also loved Honaka, but she rejected me, so I killed her in front of you.

Takatora: Assistant, kill Ranji for his actions.

Assistant: Yes, sir.

(Takatora fell into depression.)

Assistant: Sir, you are a billionaire. You have many options, and many girls admire you. Why are you depressed?

Takatora: I only love Honaka. She was my first love, and history says that first love is always incomplete.

(A few months later...)

Takatora: Assistant, I read an old mythology book. It mentioned that we can travel into the fourth dimension, which can control space and time. The way to access the fourth dimension is known by an japnese monk. Gather all the information you can about him.

Assistant: Yes, sir.

(A few days later...)

Assistant: Sir, I found some information. The monk lives in the mount Daisen in Japan.

Takatora: Let's go meet him in Japan.

A Japanese monk knew how to slow down time for anyone. He had lived for thousands of years, meditating in the mountain Mount Daisen of Japan.

(Takatora travels to Japan and meets the Japanese monk.)

Takatora: Monk, I need your help.

Monk: I know everything. I already know the kind of help you seek. Takatora, forget about her. She is gone. She cannot be yours, and if you try to bring her back, it will disturb the balance of the universe.

Takatora: But I love her. Why can't she be mine?

Monk: Love is not about possession; it is about letting go.

Takatora: But what about everything I did for her?

Monk: Let me explain.

Imagine you love a parrot, and you keep it in a cage. By doing so, you take away its freedom. If you truly love the parrot, you must set it free. If the parrot sees you as its master, it will return to you.

Takatora: I want her back, and I need your help.

Monk: I cannot bring her back, but I know something that may help you.

Takatora: What is it?

Monk: I have read ancient texts that say we can enter the fourth dimension through a black hole. However, to do so, you must first slow down your perception of time. Only then will you be able to control space and time—and even speak to the divine.

Takatora: How can I slow down time? Who will teach me?

Monk: I will teach you.

Takatora: Thank you, but I don't have much time.

Monk: First, you must change your mindset. Every great achievement takes time. This process will require patience and dedication. You must practice every day.

Takatora: I understand. How can I slow down time?

Monk: In space and time, the curve of an object determines the flow of time. A large curve slows time, while a smaller curve keeps it normal or fast. You must expand your curve as much as possible.

Takatora: How can I expand my curve?

Monk: You must meditate every day and every night on top of the mountain. Forget about time. Let go of all distractions. Your journey of meditation will begin tomorrow at 3 AM.

Takatora: I am ready. I will do it.

(After three months, Takatora successfully slows down his time. For him, one year now feels like ten thousand years for an average human.)

Takatora: Thank you, Master. You have taught me many things.

Monk: In the fourth dimension, time will pause for you. When you leave, you will return to the same moment you entered. My blessings are always with you. You will achieve what you seek.

Takatora: Thank you for your wisdom and blessings.

(Takatora returns to his country, prepared for his next journey...)

(After returning to his country)

Takatora: Assistant, invite all the brilliant mathematicians and physicists to my home and organize a party.

Assistant: Okay, sir.

(After all the mathematicians and physicists arrive and attend the party...)

Takatora: I have a request for you all. We need to figure out how to travel at the speed of light and how a spaceship can survive inside a black hole.

Mathematicians and Physicists: That's impossible. Why should we even attempt that?

Takatora: I will pay you generously. There are no budget constraints, and I won't accept any excuses.

Mathematicians and Physicists: We will try our best…

Takatora: Good. If you need any help from me, I am always available. You can start working tomorrow.

(After work begins...)

Mathematician: We have a major issue. To reach the black hole, we first need to travel from Earth, but the black hole you mentioned is 4.3 billion light-years away. Even if we travel at the speed of light, it would take you over 2 billion years to reach it, even with your slowed perception of time.

Physicist: That's true. We cannot exceed the speed of light. However, we could travel through a wormhole, allowing us to reach the black hole in just one month.

Mathematician: But there's a problem. This technology was invented by Mr. Jon. There is only one wormhole machine in the world, and it's located in Mr. Jon's home in the U.S. We cannot recreate it because it is patented under his name. If we try, we will face a penalty of 1,000 billion dollars.

Physicist: We need to discuss this with Mr. Takatora.

(Later...)

Mathematicians and Physicists: Sir, we need to steal the wormhole machine from Mr. Jon's house in the U.S.

Takatora: I'll handle it. Assistant, we need to steal the wormhole machine from Mr. Jon's house.

Assistant: Sir, Mr. Jon is the most powerful mafia leader in the U.S. It's extremely risky.

Takatora: I don't want any excuses. We'll execute the robbery tomorrow night. Gather the best thieves in the world and plan the heist.

(10 hours before the robbery...)

Assistant: Sir, everything is ready. Please listen to the plan carefully. First, we will disable all the cameras. The robbers will eliminate any guards, and if anyone is caught, they will commit suicide to protect the mission.

(After the robbery, the robbers deliver the wormhole machine to Takatora. He pays them generously.)

Takatora: The wormhole machine is here. Have you built the spaceship that can survive the black hole?

Mathematicians and Physicists: Yes, with the help of Space Z, we have completed it.

Mathematicians and Physicists: Sir, everything is ready. You can now travel to the black hole.

Takatora: Finally, I can enter the black hole and bring her back. Assistant, come here. I want to tell you something.

Assistant: Yes, sir.

Takatora: I'm going into the fourth dimension, where I can control space and time. If I don't return within one day, assume I am dead. Since I will control space and time, I will return to this exact point if I survive.

Assistant: Understood, sir.

(After entering the black hole, Takatora saw…)

(After entering the 4th dimension, Takatora saw mysterious creatures. Now, Takatora could control time—he could see the past, present, and future, and even recreate them. He tried countless times to save Honaka, using multiple methods, but failed. Despite his efforts, he could not save Honaka. He tried everything and eventually lost hope. Now, he speaks to the Lord.)

Takatora: Lord, I tried everything to save Honaka. Why can't I save her?

Lord: You must forget her. She can no longer be yours.

Takatora: But why?

Lord: It has already been decided. She cannot return, and you cannot bring her back.

Takatora: But why? I came here to bring her back. Why can't I do it?

Lord: Honaka's death is predetermined. There is nothing you can do.

Takatora: Is there any other way?

Lord: Yes, I have told you this many times before.

Takatora: How?

Lord: In this multiverse, thousands of your variants come here and ask the same question every time.

Takatora: And what is that way?

Lord: In this multiverse, there is a competition. If you win, you can have any wish granted.

Takatora: Where is this competition, and how can I get there?

Lord: The competition is held in Omnivores. I will teleport you there.

(Omnivores is the place where the gods created everything.)

Takatora: What is in the competition, and how can I win it?

Lord: The competition consists of seven rounds. If you survive and clear all seven rounds, you will win, and your wish will come true.

Takatora: Okay. Then teleport me to Omnivores.

(The Lord teleports Takatora to Omnivores, and then…)

(Competition started)

(after winning all the rounds)

As Takatora stood at the gates of Omnivores, a booming voice echoed across the infinite expanse.

Voice: "Takatora, welcome to the final round. In this trial, your strength, intellect, and heart will be tested. Victory will grant you one wish, but failure will mean your end."

Before him appeared Honaka, alive and well, her eyes filled with confusion.

Honaka: "Takatora… where are we? What's happening?"

Takatora's heart raced, but he kept his focus.

Takatora: "I will save you, Honaka. No matter what."

The Lord's voice returned.

Lord: "The final trial is simple. You must choose. Only one can return to life – either you or Honaka.

( But if both of you selflessly choose to save the other, you will both survive. Choose wisely. Lord said it into Takatora's ears )

Takatora turned to Honaka, tears in his eyes.

Takatora (softly): "I will save you."

Honaka (hesitant): "Takatora… I…"

The air grew still as time slowed. Takatora knew what he had to do.

Takatora: "I choose Honaka's life."

A beam of light engulfed Honaka, lifting her gently from the ground. She looked at him with tears streaming down her face.

Lord: "Honaka, what is your decision?"

Honaka lowered her gaze.

Honaka (quietly): "I… I choose to save myself."

Takatora's heart sank, but his expression remained calm.

Takatora: "I see… I understand."

The light around Honaka grew brighter. Takatora felt his body weaken as his consciousness began to fade.

Lord: "Takatora, your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Honaka, you have chosen to live. This is the path you walk now."

As Takatora's vision blurred, he saw Honaka standing alone, tears in her eyes, reaching out for him. But it was too late.

Takatora (smiling faintly): "Goodbye, Honaka. In every universe… I will always love you."

His form dissolved into light, scattering across the endless sky.

Honaka (crying softly): "Takatora… I'm sorry…"

The Lord's voice echoed one last time.

Lord: "Takatora's love was pure, but fate cannot be bent by love alone. Honaka, cherish the life he gave you."

As Honaka returned to her world, she carried the weight of his sacrifice, forever haunted by the choice she made.

But somewhere, in another universe, Takatora watched over her – not with regret, but with a quiet, unwavering love.
