Greetings, readers. This segment will provide essential information you should be aware of before diving into the book. Consequently, it may contain spoilers—though this is not guaranteed.
First Batch
☆ What is the Graceless End curse?
The curse is the most feared and ruthless phenomenon in the Four Kingdoms, and it has no age limit for its victims. This curse turns its bearers into killing machines against their enemies, attracting those enemies to them for the purpose of killing. It evolves its bearers through various trials, known as "Fates." The individuals cursed are referred to as "Graceless."
☆ Fates
Fates are trials that every Graceless must encounter. This is where they are hunted by their enemies, although this occurs after taming the first Fate. A Graceless is temporarily transferred into their subconsciousness to tame this Fate. The first Fate is based on their past decisions, which may manifest in various monstrous forms.
☆ Graceless
As mentioned in the first explanation, Graceless are the bearers of the curse. These individuals are considered the strongest among all magical entities and are also a threat to the human race, as the enemies attracted can kill any being to reach the Graceless.
After taming their first Fate, they are granted a special skill called "Thraxs," which has the potential to increase their chances of survival against enemies, it's a special divine ability. Other abilities may also be bestowed, depending on the curse.
Second Batch
General Knowledge
◇ The Four Kingdoms: There are four Kingdoms in this world, an alternate medieval Earth, a vast land called "England." These Kingdoms are:
•The Kingdom of Scot
•The Kingdom of Lian
•The Kingdom of Eldoria
•The Kingdom of Aranthia
◇ Their Capitals:
•The Kingdom of Scot: Eldergrove
•The Kingdom of Lian: Vermillion
•The Kingdom of Eldoria: Silverhaven
•The Kingdom of Aranthia: Stormwatch
◇ Gifts: Graceless receive Gifts from the Inferno — a type of companion given to them by the curse. These Gifts enhance their body cores, provide information, items, further opportunities for development, and manuals.
The inferno: This companion is in charge of all their abilities, Gifts, Threads, and multiple other things. Yes, it can be called a system.
◇ Types of Gifts: Not much has been revealed yet, but there are practical gifts, which are seen as plain enhancements to the body cores of a Graceless. More types seem to exist, but this is uncertain.
◇ Threads: These represent the mastery of specific abilities and the connection to a Graceless' Essence. They serve as a progression system, allowing Graceless to develop their skills based on their actions and emotions. Multiple types of Threads will be attached to a Graceless after they tame their first Fate.
◇ Chimes: Graceless earn Chimes once they slay an enemy or successfully tame a Fate — but this is not certain. Chimes serve as currency for extending their Threads or improving existing abilities. However, it is not available to Graceless ones at the Fledgling rank.
◇ Essence: Each Graceless is imbued with a unique Essence that defines their abilities, influenced by their past actions, emotions, and the nature of their curse.
Third Batch
♤ Graceless Rankings
There are five rankings:
Fledgling
Wanderer
Veiled
Nomad
Shroud
♤ Titles
These are given to Graceless based on their emotions and past lives; they are also known as "Classes." Titles can provide a boost to one of their Essences if they relate to it.
♤ Important Information
It is essential to know that enemies bound to attack Graceless can ascend beyond their supposed limits to infinite possibilities. In other words, they can be stronger than their expected capabilities.
They have their own special rankings, divided into four categories:
•Acer
•Aspire
•Unraci
•Dair
Entities considered enemies are more than ten; as long as they are not from the human race, they are classified as enemies:
•Witches
•Demons
•Corrupted Beasts
•Trios
•Monki
•Madzis — they may bear similarities to humans, but differ significantly in their internal development.
•Red beings — incomplete monsters in shadow forms that writhe and are shapeless, often encountered as mistakes of Graceless in their First Fate.
•Burc
•Wilders
•Wall creatures
•And many more…
♤ Pathways
Graceless must choose a Pathway based on their desired growth direction. It is possible for them to slow down their growth to conceal their aura from enemies, effectively acting weak while being strong.
However, it is nearly impossible for them to accelerate their growth with the Pathway.
All Graceless are cursed to kill, and if they do not, such as by choosing to run, they will die.
A weak Essence can defeat a high-ranked enemy if bound to the correct and compatible Thread. Their Thraxs, the special skill, can assist them regardless of the Essence they receive.
For instance, a paralysed human cursed may be healed by it, but this depends on the strength of their will to survive in the First Fate. Once a Graceless tames their Fate and loses connection to full humanity — yes, once one becomes Graceless, they are partially no longer human — they may lose something significant related to their body, perhaps a survival sequence.
♤ Spectacular
This is a classification under which an Essence is categorised. As there are multiple classifications of an Essence, these classifications are referred to as spectacular.

To the Readers:
If you have any questions, even if you're halfway through the book — such as more than 500 chapters in — you will need to find your way to this auxiliary chapter once your question relates to one of the terms or explanations here.
Apart from that, feel free to ask any question in any chapter you might be in.
Keep this to yourself: If you find yourself descending into chaos, then shift your emotions and attitude; you will automatically rise out of it. If you wish to cling to your old self, the chaos will undoubtedly consume you. You will have truly fallen once that occurs.
I am not striving to be your favourite author, so don't feel obligated to accept me.
