"Is it possible to scan him now? He's just behind that panel!" Luca hoped for the best and was thankfully given a positive answer by D-29.
While D-29 was busy scanning his classmate, Luca focused on the lecture about taking out and putting back the mecha.
"Most of you know how to pilot one but weren't doing it under duress." Instructor Falco thumbed the necklace in his hand while looking at the students.
"Just because you know how to retrieve and store your mecha does not mean you have the muscle memory to do it as fast as possible."
"Every second you waste in an ever-changing battlefield is a chance given to your enemy. So, the most essential aspect is to make sure you can board your mecha as soon as possible. Even the best mecha would be useless to a pilot that couldn't even get into the cockpit."
