Irvine stops and inhales a deep breath to calm his mind. But there's no way he can construct any rational explanation without remembering the indecent act he saw yesterday. And so, instead of giving an explanation…
"You are already dead for me, along with all memories we had ever shared together!"
That's the only thing he can say by only showing his back before he really takes his leave.
His words make Maya's face contorted with sorrow, with one of her hands squeezing her increasingly tight chest. She finds it hard just to breathe. Unable to endure the endless confusion, her other hand begins to grab her hair like she just got a migraine. She starts sobbing, kneeling while begging for an explanation.
"Why? What have I done wrong?"
Sadly, her voice is too weak to be heard by Irvine, but it is clear enough for Atniel who is trapped inside his body.

"I don't know anymore, and I don't care," Irvine grumbles lifelessly.

Aezel hits Jack's head from behind and knocks him out. Maya slips from the pervert dude's hands.
Fortunately, she falls towards Irvine, and Irvine reflexively catches her. Somehow, despite disappointment and hatred, he can't hide his sympathy toward Maya. This is the girl who has always treated him so nice since they were little. And now the girl looks so in pain in his arms.

She then puts Jack on her right shoulder, intending to take him to the infirmary. As for our skinny hero, after giving some deep though, he finally takes Aezel's advises and follows her to the infirmary.
Two hours later, once Jack is back to his senses, he immediately starts an argument with Aezel. The dude is so unsatisfied for losing his chance to bang on a girl, and now starts making a ruckus.
Without saying a word, Aezel ignores him and takes her leave intending to find Lily. Until a few moments later, she finds Lily in one treatment room.
"There you are!"
She grabs Lily's hand and takes her out of that room, away from Maya. And without any preamble, she suddenly interrogates her.
"What's the problem between that girl and Irvine Donovan?"
"Why?" Lily asks.
"Are they dating?"
Lilly can't help but gawking with a stupid look in her face.
The thing is, not many people know about Maya and Irvine's relationship. They both are considered as the most insignificant presence in this academy, and no one would care about them. But here Lily finds a beautiful female Seed A student from third grade having an interest in their relationship.
She squints suspiciously before giving Aezel a silly chuckle. "Don't tell me you like the guy who is touted as the most useless Seed E in Ezlenmir academy!"
Aezel grimaces. "I don't really care about their relationship or the conflict they currently have. But if they still want to be involved in our mission, they better solve that issue! I don't want the conflict between these two lovebirds to become a source of trouble for us! You get me?!"
With that, Aezel immediately takes her leave. But soon, she suddenly stops and turns around only to warn Lily about something else.
"And if they do get back together, tell the girl not to show any affection to Irvine Donovan during the mission!"
"Why?" Lily scoffs. "Are you afraid that your jealousy will surface and be noticed by others?"
Aezel tries her best to keep her composure. "I'm warning you this for their own good. If Elea sees it, it won't be good for the girl. If not dead, at least she will be crippled for life!"
In fact, Irvine is also in the infirmary, in a different treatment room. He happened to clearly hear what Aezel just said, and even saw her pass by the door.
"What did she mean by giving such a warning?"
