"Raaargh!!! Freedom!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, my voice echoing across the endless expanse of the ocean. The bright warmth of the sun hit my face, and I couldn't help but close my eyes and enjoy it for a moment. The fresh air filled my lungs, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I could finally breathe normally.
Finally! Woohoo! Ah, it's been such a long time since I've been able to breathe in oxygen again! I couldn't help but realize how important oxygen is, as well as being grateful for it.
After a short while, once my excitement had settled, I looked around, taking in my surroundings. The sea stretched endlessly in every direction, vast and mesmerizing. Above, the sky was a brilliant bright blue, scattered with fluffy white clouds. There was no land in sight, but I didn't care. Just being out here, free from the suffocating darkness of the depths below, was enough to leave me satisfied and happy.
