With all my might, I swung my fist at the nearest alien soldier's chest, pouring everything I had into the strike. For a brief moment, I thought I'd landed a solid hit—but then, a sudden impact, like hitting solid steel, reverberated through my arm. A deafening BOOM! echoed around me as the force of my own blow ricocheted back, sending me flying through the air. Agh!
