While nonchalantly wiping out any remaining Treants that still dared to mess with them, Cassius became a bit curious. The girl strolling beside him didn't talk much and also didn't express many emotions. To understand her thoughts, the easiest method was to simply ask.
Yuna was, after all, quite a straightforward and direct person.
"What is it? Do I have something on my face?" he used the classic line.
The response he received, however, was an unusual one:
"No," she said. "Your face is perfect."
Although a bit taken aback, Cassius continued his line of questioning. "So then what is it? Have you already fallen in love with my immeasurable charms or something?"
Question marks appeared above Yuna's head. "Love?" she repeated. "I don't know what that word means. Why would you think I love you? I don't understand."
Silence.
