Chapter 1 - 1. Two Brothers

Seemed like the only one sleeping soundly was Bai because Yu had woken up three hours ago. Correct, the man only slept for two hours, the rest was just silent on a very quiet night.

Nothing disturbed his sleep, it you just that the man slept soundly for two hours. Every day.

"Are you awake again?" asked Bai who changed his sleeping position in another direction, but saw Yu staring at the ceiling of their room with his hands folded on his stomach.

His breathing looked relaxed, and his face looked like he was thinking silently, really showing that the man had been awake a long time ago.

"Why?" Yu asked Bai.

"Has your sleep been disturbed?" Bai shook his head slowly, the man began to sigh heavily. Yu again just asked again. The man always sounded sarcastic, but with his gentle tone, Bai could only continue to ask about his condition.

"You'll get sick if you continue like that," Bai scolded his younger brother, Yu just let out a heavy sigh hearing that, Yu started to close his eyes without speaking. The man really didn't want to have a debate or even the same discussion every time, for the rest of his life actually.

"Don't lie to me," Bai scolded again, the man glanced at Yu when the man actually just closed his eyes and didn't continue sleeping any longer.

Bai knows clearly how Yu sleeps soundly, or even just deliberately closes his eyes because he doesn't want to make Bai worry about him.

"Don't be fussy," Yu replied to his older brother.

Choosing to stop the argument, Yu turned his sleeping position so that Bai could no longer see him. It's not just his mouth that will continue to nag, maybe his hands and feet will come forward to make him fall asleep.

It really hurts.

"You just need to close your eyes every time you wake up. Is that so difficult? Sleep and don't keep daydreaming," said Bai, Yu only answered with a soft sigh, not wanting to make the two of them argue again.

Truly a typical Lei Yu.

"Go to sleep, Bro." Yu didn't refuse or fight, the man just remained silent and didn't open his eyes either.

A few minutes later that never happened at all.

Yu was really only going to sleep for two hours the first time the man felt very tired. No matter how tired he is from working every day, it won't help Yu get any more sleep than that.

Yu always wondered what really happened to him. There were so many questions in his head, and he could never even ask Bai.

Apart from Yu really knowing what his olderand brother's character is, Yu is also very curious and wants to know the reasons and what makes him like this. It's justand that Yu wants to find out the truth himself.

'I still don't understand my body,'

'Apart from always feeling like I have a lot of energy at night, and in the morning too, I keep wondering if I really am not human.'

'Ha ha. That's ridiculous.'

Two hours passed, morning began to come. The rooster was crowing quite loudly, the sound of the water was starting to sound quite loud, the silence of the night had been replaced by the noise of people preparing for their respective activities.

Without making a sound, Yu chose to get up from his bed. The man went to shower before his older brother. Bai, who heard that his younger brother was awake, only glanced slightly, looking for his younger brother's whereabouts.

"You really don't sleep anymore?" Bai asked Yu when he finished showering with his body still wet, wearing only shorts without a shirt, and his head wet from washing his hair early in the morning. "I'm sleeping," Yu answered walking King away.

"I don't believe it," Bai rand eplied.

Lei Bai, a man who is very protective of Yu, always takes issue with anything he thinks is not good for his younger brother.

Yu doesn't like this person, moreover, Yu really loves his older brother. an adult man who always looks after and gives him a good example in Yu's life and life all this time.

So far Bai is the only one Yu has, that man is also very responsible for him, because of that Yu really can't hate his older brother.

"You have to go home before evening. If I don't see you in the afternoon on the coast, I will look for you," Bai said to Yu when the two of them finished breakfast before they both started to go to their respective jobs.

By the way, Bai and Yu work in different places. Bai works as a woodcutter, this man has many talents, apart from cutting wood in the forest and helping several residents in the village to build wooden houses, Bai also sometimes hunts animals in the forest to kill wild animals that damage livestock and also the residents' plantations. In the village they.

Meanwhile, Yu chose to work on the coast, sometimes going sailing to fish, and sometimes the man also made nets and worked on repairing boats belonging to residents in their village.

Their jobs are very different, apart from Yu wanting to live away from Bai's sight, Yu also really likes water. There are so many happy and calm feelings that Yu gets when he is around the beach.

It's okay, this man can work anywhere. If his protectiveness is very high, Bai sometimes comes to work or just accompanies Yu for a few days.

It was too much in Yu's opinion, but the man couldn't stop it at all. His older brother would never listen to Yu at all, if Bai wanted to do it, then he would.

Bai doesn't want anything to happen to Yu, and Yu knows that too.

"I feel very wronged," Yu's annoyance made him glance at his younger brother disapprovingly, and his eyes glanced annoyedly at Bai. Bai, who realized it, only returned the gaze calmly. "Why?"

"You seem very lonely without me, I suggest you start looking for a woman," Yu sneered, making Bai laugh, the man just stroked his little brother's head gently.

"Look at the little child who is teaching this adult now," Bei replied, making Yu look sharply into his older brother's eyes, Bai's hand was roughly blocked by Yu.

"Remember, we are only five years apart. Don't make things up," Yu sarcastically made Bai chuckle. This morning was very bright, the sun was very brave to appear with rays that made it hot even though it was still too early.

"Are you going to obey or not?" Bai asked, making Yu look lazily at his older brother and pursed his lips in annoyance. "Just come if you want to come, you like bothering me. You like seeing me work harder than you, right?" Bai rolled his eyes lazily.

"You think you're the only one working hard, hm?" Bai chuckled, the man was neat in his clothes. Glanced back at Yu who was still sitting on the floor in front of their house. Bai waited for Yu to get ready, but Yu looked very relaxed doing it.

"I'm always the one who comes home at night, rightI haven't finished work, usually you already pick me up at the beach, I'm embarrassed by my friends. You think I'm a kid, huh?" Bai shook his head, seeing Yu talk and get annoyed with him always made Bai feel calm.

There was something very warm, a feeling that seemed to hug him without Yu realizing it, Bai always felt it.

"Never mind, Yu."

"Whether you grow up, or even get married, you will continue to look like a child in my eyes,"

"I'll pick you up too if you're late coming home," continued Bai again, Yu could only roll his eyes lazily, his hand grabbed the bag beside his body and threw the bag at Bai.

His annoyance paid off when Bai, who looked shocked, received a throw from Yu right in the face.

"Aih," Bai cooed.

"Just save your nonsense, who wants to get married," Yu annoyed at his older brother, the man stretched out his hand to Bai, making Bai help his younger brother up.

"Who would allow you, you're still small," Bai replied to his younger brother who was ready to go together.

"Yeah, you're the one getting married old," Yu sneered, making Bai shake his head slowly, without them realizing it, the two of them started to continue having a small fight with their small steps and their loud laughter in the morning which was quite busy in their village.

"LEI YU!!" someone shouted when they saw two men on their way continuing to have a small fight and talking in noisy voices. Yu, who felt called, started looking for the voice with his big eyes. .

"Hey," said Yu when he saw one of his friends walking quite hastily following Bai and Yu.

"Early in the morning, I came to your house earlier, and it was empty," he complained, breathing heavily, looking like he was in a hurry to find Yu. The man just chuckled at his friend's face because the two of them had promised to go together but Yu chose to go first.

He didn't intend it like that, it's just that Yu was lazy if he had to fight his older brother again by asking him to go first.

"You're leaving me?" asked dramatically, Yu smiled faintly seeing how his friend's face was very annoyed, his face looked very dramatic because he felt betrayed too. "I forgot," Yu replied again, Bai saw his little brother who looked very cute when talking to his friend. with a faint smile and eyes that kept blinking.

"Aw, you are." Feeling that the two of them were busy alone, Bai started making noises, the man pretended to cough so that his sister's friends would notice his presence.

"Hm!" Yu shook his head and glanced at Bai without interest. "Bro Bai, I didn't see you, I'm sorry."

"Never mind," said Yu.

"Let's go," said Yu, pulling his friend's hand, who was still breathing hastily and his breath was still heavy. "I won't be home late, so you don't need to go to the coast," said Yu again speaking to Bai with a little shouting.

Yu didn't say it seriously, because the man had gone far away somewhere with small steps and a little running.

"You really are like a child, always accompanied by your older brother. I'm so jealous," said Yu's friend, who embraced Yu with his right hand on both of Yu's shoulders.

"I'm already big, I wasn't accompanied by Brother Bai. We just went together," Yu replied a little annoyed, the man glanced lazily at his friend when the man laughed.

"Your face really looks like a twelve year old child," he sneered again, but Bai could only hear Yu's friend starting to moan in pain afterwards. With a calm feeling this time Bai walked in the other direction, the opposite side. The place where the man will start working too.

"That child has really grown up, but he's still grumpy and likes to hit," Bai muttered with a faint smile on his lips
