Chereads / Writing a Diary in the Shinobi World, and the Kunoichi Are Shocked / Chapter 14 - 014 Konan and Tsunade's Departure

Chapter 14 - 014 Konan and Tsunade's Departure

At this moment, at home, watching the updates in the diary, Yugao Uzuki:

What? Your sense of crisis is way too strong!?

She just wanted to approach him simply, yet Night Star imagined such a political drama?

"Has someone already started to approach him…"

Tsunade leaned against the edge of the hot spring, lazily reading the contents of the diary.

"Reckless approaches will, of course, lead to such outcomes."

The existence of the diary cannot be disclosed to anyone, including Night Star Uchiha, who writes it.

Under such circumstances, striving for a role in the diary and earning rewards becomes a technical challenge.

From the diary's contents, Uchiha Night Star clearly appears to be a meticulous person.

Perhaps it's because of that… what was it again… oh right, being a transmigrator. His way of thinking differs greatly from most people in this world.

Without a proper reason, directly approaching him recklessly will inevitably yield no results, just like Yugao Uzuki now, and might even make her a subject of suspicion.

"Tsunade-sama, let me massage your shoulders."

A young girl dressed in a kimono, with short black hair, exuding a gentle and serene demeanor, knelt by the edge of the pool, placing her two white jade-like hands on Tsunade's shoulders.

Leaning against the hot spring, Tsunade lazily remarked, "Shizune, hasn't it been a long time since we've returned to Konoha?"

"Yes… You haven't been back in years, and I think it's been nearly a decade since I left the village as well."

Shizune had followed Tsunade from a very young age, wandering around the ninja world.

Compared to the other two students of the Sannin, Anko Mitarashi and Minato Namikaze, her daily tasks were far more exhausting.

Not only did she have to care for Tsunade when she was drunk, but she also frequently dealt with debt collectors, leading a life of constant evasion.

"Have you ever regretted being my student?"

Hearing Tsunade's question, Shizune gave a faint smile and shook her head.

"Becoming your student, how could I ever regret it? It's an opportunity countless people dream of having."

Hearing this, Tsunade had just shown a hint of a gratified smile when Shizune continued, "Of course, if you could drink less and lose less money, it would be even better."

"Hey, you little rascal, is that your way of scolding me?"

"I wouldn't dare."

As Shizune played around with her, her gaze involuntarily fell on a certain part of Tsunade's physique that bounced repeatedly. Lowering her head to glance at herself, she couldn't help but sigh deeply.

Tsunade-sama, what exactly did you eat during your growth years?

"But speaking of it, money has been quite tight lately," Tsunade sighed, feeling troubled as she thought about her increasingly thin wallet.

She hadn't visited a gambling house to lose money… no, to play a game in a long time.

Hearing this, Shizune cautiously began, "Tsunade-sama, I recently received a letter from the Third Hokage. He mentioned a mission he wants to entrust to you."

Tsunade frowned slightly. "What mission? It's not a battlefield task, is it?"

"No," Shizune waved her hand and smiled. "It's to go to the rear of the battlefield between Kirigakure and the village as the chief supply and medical ninja coordinator. The village will pay a handsome reward."

"Supply coordination, huh…" Tsunade thought to herself, as long as there's no blood involved, it's fine. After all, she was a medical ninja, so it was still within her area of expertise.

As she pondered, she suddenly realized something was off. "Wait, you just said it's the rear of the battlefield in Kirigakure?"

"Yes," Shizune replied with a naturally innocent expression. "Is there a problem?"

Tsunade stared into her eyes, wondering if this girl might also possess one of those diaries like Night Star Uchiha.

But no matter how long she observed, she couldn't detect any flaws in Shizune's expression. Thinking about her current dire financial situation, Tsunade sighed helplessly. "Alright, let's head out now."

"Okay, I'll go pack."

After Shizune left, Tsunade looked up at the sky, wondering if she would encounter the diary's owner, Night Star Uchiha, during this trip to the Kirigakure battlefield.

...

Elsewhere, within the borders of the Land of Rain.

"Nagato."

Konan called softly, her expression complex as she watched Nagato embed black rods into Yahiko's corpse.

Without even raising his head, Nagato responded indifferently, "What is it?"

"I'm leaving the Land of Rain for a while."

Nagato's reply was brief. "Alright."

Konan nodded slightly, looking at the eerie scene before her with mixed emotions.

The eyes of the Sage of Six Paths—are they meant for this?

Controlling corpses—no matter how you view it, it has already gone beyond the realm of normal ninjutsu.

Carrying her belongings, Konan left the cave. Fine raindrops fell onto her shoulders.

"Night Star Uchiha …"

Her body transformed into sheets of paper, drifting toward the distance.

"No matter the cost, I must make you heal Nagato's body."
