A month had passed and Tang Zhen was with his wives were visiting the Heaven Dou Imperial City. They were there to meet with Qian Renxue. Over the month, Tang Zhen had visited Qian Renxue on and off and their relationship grew closer and closer but she was still torn about what she wanted.
It was over that time with Tang Zhen confronted Snake Lance and Porcupinefish Douluo after one of his dates with Qian Renxue.
After the meeting, no fighting ensued to make sure that Qian Renxue didn't notice but some words were exchanged.
The two guardians also had a hard time deciding on what they wanted. When confronted by Tang Zhen about which side they would choose should Qian Renxue decide to go against the Martial Soul Hall and the Angel God, they could not give an answer.
Tang Zhen then told them it would be better if they just went back to the Elder Hall if that was the case. He did not want people who could potentially turn on his future wife and try to assassinate her so close.
After much back and forth, they agreed that they would have to give Tang Zhen an answer by the time Qian Renxue does and with that, a frail peace was formed.
Inside the palace, they were having a nice time just chatting before Tang Zhen was unceremoniously tossed out of the room to let the girls have a talk.
Dugu Bo was just laughing at his misfortune.
"Have you come to a decision?" Tang Zhen asked the two guardians.
"Yes. We will follow Xiao Xue. After all neither of us married and I see her as a daughter that never had." Snake Lance Douluo said. Porcupinefish Douluo agreed.
"Mhm. Good. That means even if the other elders of the Elder Hall attack you, I will help you defend against them. After all, during my time with Xue'er, she did mention how much the two of you mean to her." Tang Zhen said bringing a smile to their faces.
Suddenly the doors to the room that the girls were in burst open as the clicking of heels could be heard. Everyone turned around to see Qian Renxue running towards them as she leapt into Tang Zhen's arms and kissed him.
Startled at first, he returned the kiss with passion and after a while they separated with Qian Renxue having a massive blush on her face.
"Xue'er, I finally got a kiss from you!" Tang Zhen exclaimed happily.
"Mhm. Tang Zhen, I've decided, I want to be with you and I want to be able to walk my own path. Please, help me sever the connection to the Angel God." She asked with her hands on his chest as she leaned in.
Tang Zhen used the Power of Destiny and saw golden threads hanging from Qian Renxue as he cut them.
Qian Renxue immediately felt her Holy power get weaker but she wasn't feeling stifled like she normally does. She felt as if the world became clearer, more colorful, more meaningful.
Back at the Martial Soul Hall in the Angel God's Chamber, Qian Daoliu felt something was terribly wrong.
"Could it be? Xue'er? Has something happened to her?"
In another room, it was dark which was odd considering it was midday. In the darkness a pair of red eyes gleamed through.
Feeling that she was free, Qian Renxue felt tears streaking down her gorgeous face before they were wiped away by Tang Zhen.
The other girls came over to congratulate Qian Renxue.
"So what made you all agree to let Xue'er become my wife?" Tang Zhen asked curiously.
They all glared at him as Qian Renxue's face became beet red.
"Hmpf. Stinky Scoundrel. Big Brother Tang Zhen, are you really asking that question?" Xiao Wu asked with indignation.
"Mhm...." Zhu Zhuqing responded with furious nods.
Tang Zhen seeing them all glaring had a cloud over him as he sat in a corner and started drawing circles in a corner.
"My own wives think I'm a scoundrel. I only do a husband's natural duty." He said sulking.
"Hmpf. Tang Zhen, even with my regenerative and life energy properties, I can't handle you! We need another sister to lessen the burden!" Ah Yin said stomping her foot on the ground.
Ning Rongrong smirked, her witch side coming out.
"Although Lingling and Bing'er seem to not complain. After all they are the loudest when our husband has his way with us."
Ye Lingling and Shui Bing'er blushed like crazy before they started yelling at Ning Rongrong for making fun of them.
Qian Renxue leaned over to Liu Erlong who had a bloody nose just thinking about her intimate moments with her husband.
"Is he really that big?" She said in a worried tone.
Liu Erlong nodded and stuck out her hands for the approximate size before Qian Renxue passed out.
"Alright, Alright, that's enough. If you don't stop, Rongrong, I can teach you in private. Alone." Tang Zhen said with a smile.
Ning Rongrong paled in fear and quickly became quiet. She wouldn't survive. The girls seeing this giggled amongst themselves and had smiles on their faces. Most of them coming from backgrounds of having no one or very few people they see as family. They were happy to have sisters to rely on and be with.
Tang Zhen looked up at the sky.
"It's that time of year again. I haven't been able to visit in a very long time." He thought sadly.
Tang Zhen curled his hands into a fist as they shook violently and began to bleed. A lone tear slipped from his eye and the girls seeing that rushed over.
"Big Brother Tang Zhen, what's wrong?" Zhuqing asked worriedly.
Tang Zhen looked at all of them gathered and felt warm in his heart and smiled at them.
"There is some place I want to bring you. Will you come with me?" He said softly.
They nodded and the group headed out together.
-Star Dou Forest-
Deep within the Star Dou Forest, the group of girls along with Dugu Bo, Snake Lance and Porcupinefish Douluo were all traveling together. The three Titled Douluos hiding in the shadows.
Even if they knew that Tang Zhen was strong enough, Dugu Yan and Qian Renxue were still with them.
Over the years Dugu Bo was able to be more free thanks to Tang Zhen. As a wedding gift for Ning Rongrong, Tang Zhen gave the methods of soul power control to Ning Fengzhi and Sword and Bone Douluo. He asked them to keep it to themselves at it was considered a family technique he wanted to keep between his wives and future children. But with the conflict he knew was coming, Sword and Bone Douluo were too weak.
He also entrusted Yang Wudi, Niu Gao, Zhuqing's direct family, Qin Ming, Xie Yue, Yan, Jiang Zhu, Huo Wu with the same technique. He felt that Yang Wudi and Niu Gao earned it as he needed them to become stronger as well. As for the rest, they would be direct family to Tang Zhen anyways but they were all sworn to secrecy by their martial souls not to teach it to anyone else. Although somewhat sad they could not pass it on, they understood and needed to prepare for the future war coming.
It yielded great results as Yang Wudi, Niu Gao, and Zhu Tianxiang all reaching the Titled Douluo levels.
They were coming up to the area when all of a sudden, Tang Zhen froze causing everyone to stop.
A panicked look set on his face as he rushed forward with the group hot on his trail.
At a clearing under a large tree, was a spot where two graves were.....Or where they were supposed to be.
Tang Zhen seeing two large holes trembled before tears poured out from his eyes.
Dugu Bo had been here before to pay respects to his god daughter but upon seeing the upturned grave, his aura exploded.
"WHO DID THIS?! THEY ARE ASKING FOR DEATH! I WILL STRIP THEIR FLESH FROM THEIR BONES!" He roared in anger.
The girls having never been here before were confused but seeing Tang Zhen in the state he was in broke their hearts. They had never seen him like that before.
Suddenly throughout the clearing the sound of a man laughing could be heard as someone in a hooded robe stepped out from behind the tree.
"How did he get past all of our senses? A mere level 29 soul master..." Snake Lance Douluo thought worriedly. Whatever method the man in front of them used was not simple at all.
"You're finally here Tang Zhen." The figure said as he removed his hood.
Tang Zhen and Liu Erlong's eyes went wide.
"YU XIAOGANG?! HOW ARE YOU HERE? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE LOCKED IN THE DUNGEON AT THE HEAVEN DOU EMPIRE!" Liu Erlong yelled.
"We freed him of course." A figure wearing a clean suit and long blond hair along with a few other familiar figures came out.
"Dai Mubai? Ma Hong Jun? Tai Long?" Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu said in surprise.
"Tang Zhen, you left me in the cold dungeon for so long. You even killed my disciple." Yu Xiaogang said in a weird tone.
"Is he insane?" Ah Yin thought
"I was so lonely I had to come find my Xin'er so she could be with me. It took me years to find her but I managed to after all these years. Although I had to clear the other filth as he was in my way." Yu Xiaogang said pulling out a human skull and brought it up to his face.
Everyone was horrified as Dugu Bo flew into a rage.
"YU XIAOGANG! DIE!" Dugu Bo's Jade Phosphor Serpent Emperor appeared and shot out a Medusa's Gaze at him.
Yu Xiaogang was still smiling and looking like a madman when suddenly a dragon came down and stopped the attack.
As the dust settled, the clearing was now crowded with soul masters and the group was surrounded. As a blue formation formed underneath them causing everyone to freeze.
Looking around, they could see what looked like the entire Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan along with the Strength Clan and Speed Clan.
"TANG ZHEN! YOU WILL PAY FOR MY MASTER'S MURDER!" Tai Tan yelled in fury.
"HAHAHAHAHA! TANG ZHEN! THIS IS WHERE YOU DIE! CAPTURE THE WOMEN AND WE WILL SPLIT THEM AMONGST OURSELVES!" Yu Xiaogang yelled out with madness but it caused a roar among the group seeing the beauty of each of the girls there.
Then finally a figure walked up. Yu Yuanzhen the Thunder Douluo.
"You did well son. You even found the grave of that traitorous whore. Now give me the skull so I can crush that bitch." Yu Yuanzhen said.
"No father, Xin'er has to watch as her son dies." Yu Xiaogang with bloodshot eyes held up her skull and pointed it at Tang Zhen who was still motionless.
"Erlong, come over here. You can bear Xiaogang's children just like you wanted to and you will be spared." Yu Luomian said coldly.
"I WILL NEVER LET THAT BASTARD TOUCH ME!" Liu Erlong roared.
"ENOUGH!" Yu Yuanzhen grabbed the skull out of Yu Xiaogang's hand and crushed it.
"AH! XIN'ER!"
"YU XIAOGANG! YU YUANZHEN!" A pair of Red and Purple eyes shot up glaring at him as a mass amount of soul power was released.
"I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU! EVERY LAST ONE! I WILL SPARE NO ONE. EVERY MAN, WOMAN, CHILD, WILL ALL DIE!" A Gigantic purple figure surrounded the group freeing them from effects of the formation as it grew taller.
Tang Zhen lifted his hand and using his Thunder Emperor ability, he summoned the Celestial Thunder but fueled by his rage, they were black with red outlines.
Seeing the terrible thunder, the elders of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan summoned their martial soul forms.
"KILL HIM!" Yu Yuanzhen commanded.
As the group of over 5000 soul masters descended from all the different clans attacking at once.
The sheer amount of attacks started to cause damage to the armored Susanoo. Although he could summon the perfect version, he wanted to see the life fade from their eyes up close.
Tang Zhen activated his Reaping Thunder Domain increasing his attack power by 250%.
"FOURTH SOUL SKILL, HEAVEN'S SHOCKWAVE!" 9 rings formed around him as Black Thunder slammed down on the ground causing a massive explosion taking out over 1500 lower level soul masters in one hit.
"Protect yourselves." Tang Zhen said to the group coldly before he deactivated his Susanoo and faced the second wave coming.
"FIRE STYLE: MAJESTIC DESTROYER FLAME!" He formed a seal, he blew out the biggest wall of flame that anyone had ever seen. It barreled towards the second wave of attackers incinerating the first part before the Soul Douluos and Yu Luomian stepped in and stopped the rest of the flame wall.
The terrifying part for the bystanders was that it took 10 people to stop the fire.
Enraged, he activated his Martial Soul Form causing a Black/Red Thunder Dragon to roar to life.
"EIGHTH SOUL SKILL, SKY PIERCING ROAR!" His dragon fired a beam of Thunder but he aimed it at Yu Tianheng and Yu Tianxin who were trembling in fear.
Seeing the nature of the attack Yu Yuanzhen and Yu Luomian both jumped in to block the attack to save their grandchildren.
They were horrified to feel their soul power draining at an impossible rate.
When the attack stopped Tang Zhen was nowhere to be seen.
"OCTANE BLAST!"
Suddenly they each felt thuds on their backs and when they turned around, they saw Tang Zhen behind them and a two pairs of legs that were standing but missing the upper body. As they looked down, they saw the two heads of Yu Tianheng and Yu Tianxin with looks of horror on their faces.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" Yu Luomian and Yu Yuanzhen along with the other Soul Douluos who recovered from Tang Zhen's Eighth Soul Skill all sent lightning dragons towards Tang Zhen at once hoping to end it.
Yu Xiaogang who was cowering in fear was excited to finally see the mongrel die but his hopes were shattered quickly.
"SHINRA TENSEI!" Suddenly all the dragons stopped as if they hit an invisible barrier before they were all tossed aside and the pressure sent Yu Luomian and Yu Yuanzhen flying to the side.
Turning to the weakened Soul Douluos Tang Zhen continued.
"EIGHTH SOUL SKILL, THUNDERCLAP DOMINION!" A massive ball of Thunder appeared behind them and in their weakened state, the couldn't resist the pull of the orb and were sucked towards the ball as it drained nearly all of their soul power. Many other soul masters were also caught in the gravity field the ability generated before it detonated outwards vaporizing everyone that was in contact with the orb.
In just a brief moment, Tang Zhen had killed 9 Soul Douluos and hundreds of soul masters.
"HOW IS HE SO STRONG!" Yu Yuanzhen roared in anger. He was the Thunder Douluo, unmatched in the element. Yet this son of a whore was stronger than he was when controlling the element. Unacceptable.
"NINTH SOUL SKILL, BLUE LIGHTNING TYRANT SOUL!" Yu Yuanzhen released his most powerful attack at Tang Zhen.
"FIFTH SOUL SKILL, THUNDER EMPEROR LANCE!" Yu Yuanzhen was speechless as Tang Zhen released his fifth soul skill to combat his ninth. Thinking he had lost his mind, Yu Yuanzhen smirked but that was quickly wiped off as the lance tore through his dragon before coming towards him. It was too fast and suddenly he felt a searing pain in his right arm. Looking down it was completely gone.
"BROTHER/FATHER!" Yu Luomian and Yu Xiaogang yelled.
"DIE! FOR MY MASTER!" Tai Tan in his Martial Soul Form charged at Tang Zhen.
"HAOTIAN HAMMER! FIRST SOUL SKILL, HAMMER OF THE TITAN!" Tang Zhen's Black Hammer emitting an aura of death appeared along with a red soul ring.
Tai Tan used his Iron Wrought Hands to strengthen his attack...but it was in vain as Tang Zhen's hammer tore through his arm.
Tai Tan stared in horror as he could see his arm disintegrating upon contact with the Dark Hammer before his world went black.
Tai Tan's upper body was vaporized in an instant.
"GRANDFATHER!" Tai Long screamed in agony before he saw a looming shadow over him only to turn just in time to see a pair of Red/Purple eyes and his body was smashed into paste.
Turning to the remaining soul masters who were either wetting or shitting themselves, a Red Soul Ring appeared around Tang Zhen again.
"NONE OF YOU WILL LEAVE ALIVE! THIRD SOUL SKILL, HAOTIAN BOMBARDMENT!" He swung his hammer causing a massive Black/Red Hammer to fly outward before it split into hundreds of others that tore through everything in their path. Trees, body parts, none were spared.
Dugu Bo, Snake Douluo, and Porcupinefish Douluo were shaking from the gruesome slaughter that was taking place from the same boy not too long ago was being scolded by his wives and laughing with them.
The girls couldn't stop their tears from falling as they cried for their husband. His bottomless anger aside, it was the pain he was feeling. This wasn't the person they fell in love with.
Tang Zhen lost in his rage and heinous spirit raised his hand and Black Thunder descended on it before it spilled out all around the forest like a net hunting down the remaining members of the attacking group as screams for mercy and pain were filling the forest.
Unable to see him like this any longer, Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu his longest companions stepped forward and ran towards him while everyone else cried out. Without a word, Zhuqing and Xiao Wu stared at each other before Xiao Wu grabbed Zhuqing and using her Invincible Golden Body, to shield them, she used her teleport to get near Tang Zhen while dodging the Thunder Strikes.
One of the bolts hit Xiao Wu, the Celestial Thunder shattered her shield to everyone's shock. Seeing this Ning Rongrong, Ye Lingling, and Ah Yin all used their strongest support/healing skills.
Tang Zhen was staring coldly and the dying figures with satisfaction but he was no longer in control, his heinous spirit was taking over his instincts. Suddenly he felt two pairs of arms around him.
Looking down was a horrifying scene. Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu were getting burned by his Thunder energy as they were holding him unable to form any words as the only sounds coming out were guttural noises as Ye Lingling was healing them as they were being burned.
He immediately snapped out of his daze as his heinous spirit finally came under control and he caught both of them as they collapsed.
Seeing Tang Zhen stop, Yu Yuanzhen, Yu Luomian, and Yu Xiaogang, the last remaining three, rushed up to kill him.
"DIE!"
"Chibaku Tensei" Tang Zhen said softly. His focus still on the two girls who were on laying in his arms as they held his cheek on each side with a pale complexion.
The three were about to charge as large chunks of earth trapped them in the air. He left their heads out but the rest of their bodies were being crushed by the earth.
"TANG ZHEN! PLEASE SPARE ME! I WAS WRONG!" Yu Xiaogang yelled out madly.
"Ask for forgiveness from my mother. You will get none from me." Tang Zhen said coldly.
Raising his hand, he called down 3 Kirins vaporizing the last three on the spot. This ending the main line of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
"Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, you silly girls, why did you put yourselves in danger like that?" He asked sadly.
"We couldn't bear to see you like that." Zhuqing said.
Everyone else rushed over and Zhuqing and Xiao Wu got healed and their soul power replenished.
The Three elders were exhausted and had it not for Ah Yin and Liu Erlong adding in their soul power, their barrier might have collapsed. Thinking on it, the elders couldn't help but think that Tang Zhen was truly a monster in combat. His destructive power was unlike anything they had ever seen.
Thinking about being on the receiving end of those attacks made them shiver.
Tang Zhen walked over to the open graves and filled them back in with tears spilling in his eyes.
He put their memorial tablets upright again as he Kow Towed continuously asking for forgiveness for being an unfilial son.
"Hello Mother, Hello Father. We are Big Brother Tang Zhen/Tang Zhen's wives. We pay our respects." The girls said in unison and bowed.
"Hello Sister Xin.....Erlong is here. I have married Tang Zhen and now I am your daughter-in-law." She said while crying.
"*Sigh* Little Monster, last time, I asked you why you buried them here and not bring them to the clan grounds. You said you would tell me once you brought your wives to pay their respects. Tell me now. What reason you left them here. Their graves were violated." Dugu Bo said sternly.
He knew that he had no say in this but Yu Lanxin was his goddaughter.
"Uncle Dugu....My parents have always told me that when they die, they wanted to be buried so that their body may be used as nutrients for the land. They wanted to be buried together to become a part of the land and roam to see the parts of the world they weren't able to see." Tang Zhen said sadly.
Suddenly the air became oppressive as the sky turned dark and red. Then a demonic looking figure with bat wings appeared.
"You're finally here. I have been waiting to catch you out in the open."
"Slaughter King?!" Bibi Dong asked in surprise.
"Ah the other one is here too. You two lowlifes destroyed Slaughter City . I'm going to kill you!" He said.
"Slaughter King?!" Dugu Bo and Ah Yin Exclaimed as well.
Ah Yin summoned her martial soul and attacked with a bind ability and Blue/Gold vines shot out from the ground.
A red field formed around the Slaughter King that caused the vines to disappear.
"In my Slaughter Domain, you cannot use any soul ring skills." Slaughter King said shocking all the others around who didn't know this fact.
"And you are weak now. Just let me end your miserable life. After all, do you think you can stop me?" He taunted.
Tang Zhen staggered but stood up.
"Time to find out." He said coldly as his eyes blazed to life.
