Hu Liena broke into a cold sweat.
The sheer destructive power of the Heavenly Sky Thunder Hammer was immense.
What was worse was that the Evil mist did nothing. The ghostly undead soldiers were completely subjugated by the combined Divine light from the Goddesses.
The soldiers of the Heaven Dou Empire were charging towards the fortress.
"I'll take care of Tang Zhen, you all defend the base." Hu Liena said as she looked out towards the battlefield and spotted a figure as a surge of rage sparked in her before she let out an evil smirk.
Bibi Dong was fighting against a bunch of large undead Soul Beasts smashing them apart with her hammer.
Sensing something she turned to block a spear before her eyes grew wide and tears started to form.
"N-N-No Uncle She….."
An undead Snake Lance Douluo was staring at her with a disapproving look.
"Bibi Dong. You dare to betray Her Holiness and the Martial Soul Hall? Have you no shame?" He said.
Bibi Dong was too distracted as another figure appeared behind her and threw a punch. Although with Tang Zhen's shield and her Godly Aura she couldn't be hurt by these two, she didn't want to hurt them.
They were missing for so long and she was worried about them but now they were both here. Dead.
"Uncle Ci..."
Bibi Dong was distracted and she caught a glint of metal at the last second.
Hu Liena had an evil smirk on her face as she swung her scythe at her ex-disciple aiming it at her heart. However, she underestimated the power of the Ninth Soul Skill and worse, the armor she had on. As soon as the attack struck, it was stopped by Bibi Dong's Thunder Armor.
The moment Hu Liena's attack hit the shield and broke it, the shield exploded outwards with Thunder energy burning Hu Liena and destroying the ghosts of Snake Lance and Porcupinefish Douluo.
Bibi Dong still unable to get over her grief watched as the two disappeared.
Then everything turned to anger as she turned around and swung the hammer at Hu Liena who had trouble holding it back with her scythe.
They traded blows but Bibi Dong was gaining the upper hand.
Hu Liena was able to break away as she concentrated her energy before unleashing a wave of energy at Bibi Dong with a slicing motion.
Tang Zhen watched from the side as he knew this was a battle that she had to fight herself.
Meanwhile, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Ye Lingling, Dugu Yan, Ning Rongrong, and Ah Yin were having a lot of fun.
They were the ones that didn't have a lot of offensive combat abilities. While Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing had speed, they lacked the feeling of attacking with an unstoppable force. The hammer was just that.
It drained only minimal amounts of soul power and even then it was negligible with their divine status now.
Seeing his wives having fun, he watched as the soldiers of the empire finally catch up. He hand a sweatdrop as he watched them complain how they charge to one point to confront the enemy only to have rhe area cleared out by one of the girls and have to keep moving.
As they approached the fortress, Tang Zhen activated his Martial Soul Form and a massive golden avatar formed behind him with the his combined hammer as it loomed over.
Tang Zhen swung the hammer sideways and completely destroyed the first wall easily.
Shui Bing'er then came and froze the water in the moat creating a flat surface with the bridges and Ah Yin had vines grow over the ice creating a large area for the soldiers to traverse.
It wasn't long before they took the fortress.
Tang Zhen then looked over and saw the Evil formation becoming unstable as it absorbed all the dead from the assault on the fortress.
He looked at the reanimated corpses and saw a lot of them were in civilian clothing and many of them were children.
Shui Bing'er and Ah Yin next to him stared horrified.
"Husband…..why are there children?" Ah Yin said sorrowfully.
Tang Zhen saw as the undead children appeared with mangled bodies and glared hatefully at Hu Liena.
"I had a faint clue…..but I had no idea she would be twisted enough to do this."
"What do you mean?" Shui Bing'er asked gripping his arm.
"While we were on they way back, Xue'er and I stopped by the Star Luo Empire…..the problem was that the capital was completely abandoned. Not a soul was in sight. I guess we now know what happned to them."
Tang Zhen felt that the time for Hu Liena to ascend to Godhood was too quick since she didn't have the bodies from the battles yet. So how could she? She had killed innocent people and even the children to fuel her way to Godhood.
Having had enough, he turned and summoned his Celestial Thunder to destroy the formation causing everything to cease.
At the fortress, the Martial Soul Hall had lost and had surrendered.
That left the only people still fighting to be Bibi Dong and Hu Liena as the public watched.
With Bibi Dong, she was pushing Hu Liena back. The overwhelming combination of the defense of the Thunder Armor and the pure offensive power of the Heavenly Sky Thunder Hammer was too much for Hu Liena even with her scythe.
Although she was attacking ruthlessly, Bibi Dong was lost in thought.
Her teacher whom she considered a mother at one point had fallen so far.
The woman that she used to look up to was now a mass murderer. The more that Bibi Dong stared at Hu Liena, the more conflicted she became.
Hu Liena had no one. She was abandoned by Yu Xiaogang, she was raped by Qian Xunji, and she was being influenced by the Rakshasa God.
During the night before the battle, Tang Zhen had told them that Hu Liena's mind was essentially corrupted by Rakshasa.
Still, what she did was not completely because of Rakshasa alone. Even if she did ask Tang Zhen to sever the connection, Bibi Dong doubted that the good Hu Liena, would be able to accept what she did and would end up dying anyways.
Better to take care of the Rakshasa position first.
After another few minutes, Hu Liena was visibly tired, panting heavily.
Bibi Dong however was only slightly winded.
With the Thunder Body Tempering Technique, their physiques had undergone transformations and their overall stamina increased dramatically.
Although even with everything, they still could not match Tang Zhen in bed. Although normally, two per night was enough but when all of them got together, Tang Zhen driven by his lust and desire for his wives, could handle all of them.
"Thinking of such things in the middle of battle what are you thinking about Bibi Dong." She berated herself.
She would ask her husband for a reward later. She grew wet just thinking about it.
Hu Liena in a desparate final stand consumed the rest of her soul power to attack and Bibi Dong matched it channeling her power into the hammer as they struck at eachother for the last time.
In the aftermath, Bibi Dong caught Hu Liena and descended to the ground.
Tang Zhen and the others came over and crowded her.
"Xiao Dong'er…." Hu Liena's body was broken from the impact.
"...…"
Hu Liena let out a sad chuckle.
"It seems, that I am no longer worthy of being called your Teacher."
"…..You've caused a lot of pain and death."
"Yes."
"You tried to kill my brother and Yan."
"Yes."
"…..You tried to kill me."
"….Yes."
"Then why…..why can't I blame you? Why can't I be upset with you? Why can't I be angry with you?"
Bibi Dong started to cry.
Hu Liena struggled to lift her arm and wipe away her tears.
"Xiao Dong'er, I am happy that you were the one to stop me."
Bibi Dong started to cry harder. Hu Liena turned her gaze to Qian Renxue.
"Renxue…..I…..am sorry. For everything."
Qian Renxue didn't say anything.
"Tang Zhen…..You killed Yu Xiaogang right?"
"Yes. I did."
"Why?"
"He harmed my family. He dared to try and harm my women. My wives."
She turned to Bibi Dong again.
"Are you happy Xiao Dong'er? Are you happy with Tang Zhen and the others?"
"Yes…I am. I'm happier than I have ever been."
Hu Liena started to get weaker and her speech started to slow.
"I'm jealous of you. I never was able to find true love. Even Yu Xiaogang only wanted to use me. Would it have been different, if I had taken the time to get to know you Tang Zhen? Would you have given me a chance?"
Tang Zhen stared at her. Indeed she was truly pitiful. But her sins outweighed everything else.
"Perhaps….In another life."
Hu Liena agreed.
"I have caused too many deaths and harm to the innocent."
"But Teacher, that wasn't you!" Bibi Dong cried out.
"…..It warms my heart to hear you call me Teacher again."
"Husband! Please save her!"
Tang Zhen just grabbed her shoulder and gave her a solemn look.
"Xiao Dong'er…..Renxue….Will you...forgive…..me…..my daughters.."
Bibi Dong was weeping nodding her head while Qian Renxue came and knelt by her.
"Mother I forgive you! Please Lingling! Please heal her!" Bibi Dong looked at her sister and begged.
Ye Lingling stared at her sadly.
"Sister Dong'er…" The girls all said softly to her.
"Dong'er…" Tang Zhen stared at her with pain. It killed him to see his wife like this.
"WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE! PLEASE HELP HER!"
"Bibi Dong!"
She stared at Qian Renxue who sternly called her. She was staring down with tears streaming down her eyes.
Bibi Dong slowly looked down to see Hu Liena who had her eyes closed with a peaceful smile.
"Teacher." She called out softly. Getting no response, she shook her a little.
"Mother…." She shook her harder.
"…..Mama…." Bibi Dong started to shake as she slowly bent down to hug her.
Not feeling her breathing or moving, she finally broke down into heavy wails as she clung to her body.
Everyone stayed silent. But Tang Zhen was clenching his fists tightly hearing his wife's cries.
"Rakshasa….I swear….When I find you….I will destroy you. You will pay for her tears. This has only just begun."
