Xiao Ming smirked inwardly as the notifications rolled in. His meticulous plan against Ye Chan had succeeded far beyond his expectations. Not only had he thoroughly humiliated Ye Chan, but he had also ensured the entire Xiao family despised him. Most importantly, both Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei now harbored intense contempt for the so-called protagonist.

Although Xiao Rui already held a poor opinion of Ye Chan, Xiao Ming wasn't naive enough to underestimate the power of a protagonist's luck—especially one at the gold-tier level. Protagonists always found absurd, unreasonable ways to turn situations in their favor. It was precisely why Xiao Ming had left no room for mistakes.

"Thankfully, I know exactly what kind of person he is," Xiao Ming thought.

Recalling the protagonist's personality from the novel, Xiao Ming sneered inwardly. Ye Chan was a classic pest—a romantic obsessive who wouldn't give up until he won over the heroine's heart. Xiao Ming couldn't risk leaving him in the Xiao family any longer. It was precisely why Xiao Ming had been so meticulous in executing his plan.

Every step of Xiao Ming's plan had been calculated.

First, he publicly humiliated Ye Chan during the challenge with Uncle Lin. That single event destroyed Ye Chan's carefully crafted image of a noble and capable hero in Xiao Mei's eyes.

Then, leveraging Ye Chan's impulsive personality, Xiao Ming orchestrated the infamous "dog incident." It was a minor humiliation, but it chipped away at Ye Chan's already fragile dignity.

Finally, Xiao Ming executed the masterstroke. Inviting Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei to his room under the pretense of reminiscing about childhood memories served a dual purpose: it strengthened his bond with the heroines and set the stage for Ye Chan's inevitable jealousy. Wuye played his role perfectly, subtly leaking the news to Ye Chan. Predictably, Ye Chan's possessiveness drove him to "investigate."

To Ye Chan, Xiao Ming appeared to be stealing his "women." When Ye Chan walked in to see Xiao Ming adjusting his robes, flanked by the embarrassed Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei, his jealousy boiled over. Xiao Ming's playful comment about the ring—and the staged embrace—pushed Ye Chan to the breaking point.

But Xiao Ming hadn't left anything to chance. The Oblivion Jade Pendant had hidden Ye Chan's movements from Elder Su, ensuring no intervention before the right moment.

As for Xiao Ming's supposed injuries? A brilliant act.

The Sacred Beast's Prison-Breaking Power and the fusion of the Immortal Bone Physique had rendered Xiao Ming's body far too strong for Ye Chan to harm him. Even so, Xiao Ming used a Blood Mirage Pill, a product of the system, to simulate convincing injuries. The pill's effects were so intricate that even a Saint Realm expert wouldn't detect the ruse.

Step by step, everything fell into place. Now, with Ye Chan's fate sealed, Xiao Ming allowed himself a moment of satisfaction.

Xiao Ming was escorted to another room under heavy guard. The Xiao family, believing him gravely injured, assigned Golden Guards to ensure his safety. Inside, Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei refused to leave his bedside, their faces etched with worry.

"Xiao Ming saved us without hesitation," Xiao Mei whispered, her voice trembling. "Even if it cost him his life..."

Xiao Rui clenched her fists. "We won't let anything happen to him. Not again."

Unbeknownst to the two heroines, Xiao Ming was far from unconscious. While feigning a deep slumber, he activated his Immortal Bone Physique and began absorbing the energy from the Vitaldew Pill Elder Su had given him. Waves of qi flooded his body, and the energy quickly reached a boiling point.

Hours passed.

Minutes passed. Then hours.

Suddenly—

Boom!

A deafening roar reverberated through the Xiao Mansion. A powerful wave of energy surged outward, shaking the surroundings. The once-serene Qi in the air began rushing madly toward Xiao Ming's room.

Xiao Ming's aura skyrocketed, shattering through its previous limitations.

Boom!

A second explosion followed, and a shadowy image of a roaring dragon elephant emerged above the mansion. Its mighty roar echoed across the night sky, exuding a suppressive majesty that made everyone tremble.

In the room, Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei stumbled back in shock, their eyes wide with awe. Xiao Ming's body floated midair, bathed in radiant light as he ascended into the Spirit Ascension Realm.

With a swish, Elder Su appeared in the room, his expression one of astonishment and joy as he saw Xiao Ming floating mid-air.

"Good! Good! The Vitaldew Pill seemed to work wonderfully !" Elder Su exclaimed, stroking his beard. "Not only has it healed your injuries, but it also helped you break through to the Spirit Ascension Realm!"

Elder Su attributed it all to the Vitaldew Pill, unaware of Xiao Ming's meticulous planning and the system's role. Not only had Xiao Ming absorbed the pill's energy, but he'd also refined more than 30 drops of Dragon Elephant Blood, further strengthening his physique.

Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei stared at Xiao Ming in awe. The image of him risking his life to protect them earlier was deeply etched in their hearts. Now, seeing him ascend to new heights of power, their admiration grew even stronger.

"Brother Ming, you're amazing!" Xiao Rui whispered, her eyes shining with emotion.

"Yes, Brother Ming," Xiao Mei added, her voice trembling. "We'll never let anyone hurt you again!"

Xiao Ming opened his eyes slowly, a faint smile playing on his lips. The warmth and devotion in the girls' eyes were unmistakable.

The Xiao family celebrated Xiao Ming's breakthrough that night, and their pride is evident. Meanwhile, Xiao Ming reveled in his newfound strength, though his mind was already plotting the next move.

Far from the Xiao family estate, the Roaring Lion Sect loomed within a foreboding valley shrouded in mist. Jagged black peaks pierced the sky, their surfaces carved with glowing red runes that pulsed ominously.

Within the sect's chambers, a burly young man sat sloppily in a grand chair, tearing into a roasted leg of meat. His cruel gaze flickered to a trembling maid at his side, who dared not meet his eyes. The oppressive air of the chamber mirrored the temperament of its master—brutal and unforgiving.

A messenger stumbled into the room, his face ashen.

"What is it?" the young man barked, tossing the half-eaten leg onto the ground. His aura flared, suffocating the unfortunate messenger.

"M-My lord…" the messenger stammered, barely managing to breathe under the pressure. "The Xiao family… they've destroyed your clan."

For a moment, silence hung heavy in the air. Then—

BOOM!

The burly man's fist slammed into the table, shattering it to splinters. His eyes burned with fury as his aura surged, creating cracks in the chamber walls.

"The Xiao family dares to provoke me?!" he roared, his voice echoing like a beast's howl. "They'll pay for this! Those women, Xiao Rui and Xiao Mei—they'll beg for death by the time I'm through with them!"

Storming out of the chamber, he marched directly to the sect's grand hall. The towering figure of the sect master, cloaked in shadows, loomed over the space like a living mountain. Kneeling before him, the burly man slammed his fist into the ground.

"Master, my family has been massacred by the Xiao family! I beg you—grant me the power to avenge them!"

The sect master's glowing eyes narrowed. "The Xiao family has crossed a line," he said, his voice as deep as thunder. "Such insolence cannot go unanswered. Prepare the disciples. The Roaring Lion Sect will show no mercy."

As disciples scrambled to prepare for war, the hall grew deathly silent. Just as they prepared to act, a mocking voice echoed through the hall.

""Prepare for war? How out-of-date. Well, No need to look for me. I've come to you myself."

The sect master and his disciple turned sharply, their eyes narrowing as a young man stepped into the hall, his aura unshaken and his grin as malicious as ever.
