Adrian, who is filled with fortune, lives in a small town with his fraternal twin sister, Evelyn. Their parents abandoned them both the day they were born, without realizing the fortune that he had. Suddenly, John comes home from work. Evelyn runs straight to her room, thinking her misfortune will affect him. "Welp, there she goes again," Adrian says as he watches her running off. "Hey, Grandpa John, how was work today?" Adrian asks as he sits on the dining chair, tired. "Chuckle Talking like a grown-up, huh? You brat," John says as he sits on the dining chair, tired as well. "It was good," John says as he pours water into a cup. "Anyway, look at this hand band. Evelyn made it for me," Adrian says as he shows the hand band to John. "I feel like this is my lucky charm," Adrian says, looking at the hand band and smiling. "...Adrian… you know that isn't true… She is filled with misfortune… Everything she touches or even being in her presence gets ruined… You can't live with this fake truth forever… You're growing up," John says as he looks at Adrian, who glares back at him with eyes burning with anger.
"I know… I know I'm growing up… But at least let me believe that there is a way I could make her smile again… Grandpa John, you raised me and Evelyn since the day we were born. You know me better than everyone, even Evelyn. So, you should choose your words carefully when speaking about her," Adrian says with a lot of anger in his voice. It is the mayor of the village, Elena June, with her daughter, Elisa June.

Elena looks at him for a moment before opening her mouth. "We are having a 16th birthday party for my daughter right here, Elisa June, and I'm expecting you to be there with your family," she says while pulling out an invitation card. "No," John rejects the invitation without hesitation. "John, I'm not asking… I'm telling you to come," she says in a threatening tone. "And I'm saying no," John replies, still as stubborn as ever. "...There will be hot hostesses."
"So, when is the party again?" John asks with a straight face, showing no shame. "Pervert," Adrian says to John before speaking to Elena. "I… don't think I can come. I gotta look after Evelyn," he says. "...A party without a lucky kid like you would be misfortune… I expect you to change your mind before the day comes. The guy doesn't seem to care as he stabs the owner in the hand. The man silently watches while laying his head on the table. "Fighting an old geezer like him won't make you tough," the man says, provoking the guy even more. The guy then charges at him with his dagger, but suddenly he hears a *Thud from behind. The guy turns around and finds his hand on the floor. It seems the man cut the hand off without the guy realizing it. The man then says, "Try anything, and the next will be your head." He leaves two gold coins for the beer he had all night and walks out. As he leaves, someone sees his face. Suddenly, a wanted paper flies into the observer's face. He sees the man's face on the paper and looks shocked.
