It's another lovely day, students walk in and get ready for the school activities to start. Students filled with join as it was the last day of school for the week. Bruno who was eagerly waiting to attend school today, his wait had finally come to an end. He was so excited and couldn't wait to get to school to meet his new teachers and classroom, he dressed into his new school uniform, looking responsible and handsome, with a little bow tire.
He stepped out of his room eager, and couldn't wait to leave for school.
"Mom I'm done and ready for school," he said in excitement
Alright Dr, hold on. I'll pack up your lunch box," she replied district antly as she was in the kitchen.
"Okay" he replied
"Okay here u go," Mrs. Taylor said as she extended the lunch box to him
"Thank you Mom" he replied with a warm smile
"You welcome, You look so nice," she said, admiring him in a school uniform.
"Thanks, Mom, the food smells nice always," he said with a slight smile.
"Good morning dr" Mr Taylor greeted Mrs Taylor as he walked in
"Morning love" she replied lovingly
Are u ready Mr. Taylor asked Bruno
"Yes Dad" he responded
"Then come on, we have no time, u are already late on ur first day of school," he said in haste
"Okay Dad," he said as he took his school bag and lunch box
As they both walked down to where the car was parked Mrs. Taylor followed behind to say goodbye to Bruno.
"Get in", Mr. Taylor said as he opened the driver's seat to drive
Bruno got in the back seat, waiting for the car to move
The car started to move as Mrs Taylor waved goodbye to her son.
A few minutes later they arrived at the school, as his school wasn't too far from home.
"We are here, get your things and head inside," Mr Taylor said
"Okay Dad" he responded as he got his thing and got out of the car
"Bye Dad," he said walking to the driver seat window
"Bye, do be a good boy in school! See u at home", Mr Taylor responded
Yes Dad" he said
Me Taylor drove away. While Bruno head into the school, he sighted Mrs Charlotte.
"Good morning, Mrs. Charlotte" he greeted
"Morning Bruno, welcome, how you doing today" she replied with a warm smile.
"I'm good Mrs Charlotte" he replied
"Alright, please head to your class. School activities have already begun," Mrs Charlotte said, her tone firm yet understanding. "You missed the only lecture your class will have today since it is Friday — the last school day of the week
"Oh, I didn't know", he said a hint of surprise In his voice. "I'll head to class now "
"It's fine," Mrs. Charlotte said, in an understanding tone. Just head to class, and go meet Linda, the girl I asked to help you out, Let her help with all the missed notes and explain each topic you missed so far, your school equipment will be sent down to you shortly
"Okay" Mrs. Charlotte Burno responded as he hurried to class to meet Linda
Bruno got into the class as he waved to the whole class and they all waved back, while he looked around the class for Linda. When he saw her, approached her while tapping her on the back
"Hey," Burno said
"Hey!!, It's you"Linda responded with surprise in her tone
"Yeah" he replied with a smile
"How u doing," Linda asked
I'm good you ? He responded
"I'm good too" Linda responded
"Okay cool, Mrs. Charlotte said to come to meet u to assist me with notes and topics I missed," Burno said
Ohh Yh, that's true but you came late, why? Linda responded
"Nothing didn't realize time had gone so much" Bruno replied.
It's cool, let sit down Linda said
"Alright" Burno relied as they both sat down
Linda bought out a few notes to give to Burno.
"Where are your notebooks?"Linda asked
"Haven't collected them, Mrs charlotte said she'd send someone to give them to me" burno replied
"Okay," Linda said
Immediately after Linda's reply, Burno's name was called, it was the principal assignment Mrs. Greene
Mrs. Greene, a young pretty lady who had just finished university, worked as to assistant to the principal.
"Burno!" pls who is Burno" Mrs Greene asked
"Yes, I'm Bruno" he responded
"Here you go, this are some notes books, textbook, and other things you'd need in class," she said while giving him
"Thank you" Burno replied pleased
He took it and walked back where he sat down near Linda
"Now that you have your notebooks, you can start by writing the Biology note then afterward will be the explanation, as we will be taking it one after the other," Linda said
"Okay cool" Burno replied while taking one of his notebooks to write.
" Yeah? Let me know when you done with that" Linda said with a faint smile
"Okay" he replied while writing
Alex who was in the class at that time watched silently from a sit with a smile on her face seeing her best friend Linda with the new student, Linda turned, and noticed the smile on Alex's face, and she couldn't help but go meet her
"What's the smile on your face for" Linda asked in a curious tone
"Nothing, just watching my sweet bestie helping out new students," Alex said, teasing her
"Lol is that really all or there is more to it" Linda asked playfully
"Do you like him?" Alex asked
Of course not, Alex he just got admitted today, how I possibly like him that fast? Linda replied
"You can't say, it might be love at first sight" Alex replied teasing Linda
"Lol really out of your mind" Linda responded why laughing
"Come on, I'm just saying, anything can happen, you never know," Alex said, teasing her again with a playful smirk.
"Stop it, Alex! You play too much," Linda shot back, rolling her eyes
"Alright, alright. I hear you," Alex replied with a chuckle, raising her hands in mock surrender
"Finally! Thank you" Linda replied pleased the teasing had stopped.
They continued their conversation, soon after, The bell rang. It was already closing hour, as the school closes very early on Fridays,
Linda heard the bell. Immediately went to Burno to know he was done.
"Hey. Are you done" Linda asked
"No, not even gotten to half of it" Burno replied jokingly
Okay, you know what I can take my notes home, and on Monday you'd give it back.
"Okay, thanks. That is preferable" Burno responded with a smile
You are welcome Linda replied as she packed her bag, heading out of the school, while Burno followed seconds later.
Alex on the other hand was waiting for Mrs max
Bruno stood out the school gate waiting to be picked up by the driver.
"Why are you waiting here?" Linda asked to see him
"Waiting for my dad's driver to pick me up" Burno replied
"Oh wow. Bye then" Linda replied stunned
" Bye" Bruno responded
Mins later, the driver arrived with Mr Taylor's car to pick Burno up back home
