POV THARROS
As I snuggle deeper into Father's warm scales, I sense a hint of unease emanating from him. His wing wraps tightly around me, but his eyes seem troubled, even as he smiles reassuringly.
I tilt my head, trying to understand what's bothering him. "Father, what's wrong?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
He hesitates, his gaze drifting away before returning to mine. "Nothing, Tharros. Everything's fine," he says, his voice calm, but his eyes betraying a hint of concern.
I frown, unsure if I believe him. Father's always been honest with me, but this time, I sense he's hiding something. I look up at him, searching for answers, but his expression remains enigmatic.
I continue to gaze up at Father, trying to read his expression. His eyes seem to hold a mixture of emotions, but I'm not sure what they are. I can sense that he's trying to protect me from something, but I'm not sure what.
As I look at him, I notice that his claws are gently grasping the Dragonstone. It's as if he's holding onto it for comfort, or maybe even protection. I can feel the stone's power emanating from it, and I sense that it's connected to Father's unease.
"Father, is it something to do with the Dragonstone?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
Father's eyes flicker to the stone, and then back to me. He hesitates, as if unsure of how to respond. I can sense his internal struggle, and I know that he's trying to decide whether to tell me the truth.
Father shook his head, a gentle smile on his face. "No, Tharros. It's nothing to do with the Dragonstone. Just...fatherly worries, that's all," he said, his voice soothing.
I looked up at him skeptically, unsure if I believed him. But Father's expression seemed sincere, and I didn't want to push him further. So I nodded, snuggling deeper into his warm scales.
As I closed my eyes, I could feel Father's relief wash over him. He thought he had reassured me, but I knew that he was still hiding something. And I was determined to find out what it was.
I question, "Why do I feel stronger than before" Father's expression changed, a hint of surprise and curiosity in his eyes. "What do you mean, Tharros?" he asked, his voice gentle, but with a underlying tone of interest.
I thought for a moment, trying to put my feelings into words. "I don't know...I just feel...different. Stronger, somehow. Like I can sense things more clearly, and my scales feel...tougher," I said, looking up at Father for answers.
Father's eyes locked onto mine, and I could sense his mind racing. He seemed to be searching for the right words, and I could tell that he was trying to decide how much to reveal to me.
Father answered "hah it just that you are growing." he smiled nervously
I looked up at Father, sensing that he was hiding something. His smile seemed forced, and his eyes darted away for a moment before returning to mine.
I wasn't convinced. "Growing?" I repeated, my voice skeptical. "But it feels like more than that. It feels like...like something inside me is changing," I said, trying to explain the strange sensations I'd been experiencing.
Father's smile faltered, and he looked away, his eyes scanning the surrounding area as if searching for an escape. "Let's just focus on your training, okay? You're growing up, and that's all," he said, his voice a little too loud, a little too forced.
I knew Father was hiding something, and I was determined to find out what it was.
I spoke "Father are you OK?" Father's gaze snapped back to mine, and he forced a smile onto his face. "I'm fine, Tharros. Just a little...tired, that's all," he said, his voice softening.
But I could sense the tension in his body, the tightness in his scales. He was hiding something, and I could tell that it was bothering him deeply.
I looked up at him, my eyes locked onto his. "Father, you can tell me. I'll understand," I said, my voice gentle.
Father's smile faltered, and for a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of tears in his eyes. But then, he looked away, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's nothing, Tharros. Just...nothing."
I looked at him and said, "If that the case, you look worried, and I know something wrong. You can lick me if that makes you feel a lot better!"
Father's eyes widened in surprise, and then a deep chuckle rumbled from his chest. He looked at me, his expression softening, and his eyes shining with warmth.
"Tharros, you always know how to make me feel better," he said, his voice filled with affection. He gently lowered his head, and his warm, rough tongue licked my scales, sending a soothing sensation through my body.
As he licked me, I could sense the tension in his body begin to ease. His worries didn't disappear, but he seemed to relax, letting go of some of the weight that had been pressing on him.
I closed my eyes, enjoying the comforting sensation of Father's tongue on my scales. For a moment, everything felt okay, and I knew that no matter what was bothering Father, we would face it together.

I gazed at Tharros, my heart swelling with love and concern. He was looking at me with such intensity, as if he could see right through me.
I knew I had to be careful. Tharros was growing more perceptive by the day, and I couldn't risk him discovering the truth about the Dragonstone's power. Not yet, at least.
I forced a smile onto my face, trying to reassure him. "I'm fine, Tharros. Just a little...tired, that's all," I said, hoping he would buy it.
But Tharros's eyes lingered on mine, and I could sense his skepticism. He knew I was hiding something. I just hoped he wouldn't push the issue further.
As I looked at him, I felt a pang of guilt. I was keeping secrets from my own son, secrets that could change the course of our lives forever. But I knew it was necessary, at least for now.
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. I had to be strong, for Tharros's sake as much as my own.
Suddenly, I felt someone nuzzling my tail when I looked behind it. It was Tharros
I couldn't help but chuckle as Tharros nuzzled my tail. His eyes sparkled with mischief, and I could sense his playful energy.
"Hey, little one," I said, my voice warm with affection. "What are you up to?"
Tharros looked up at me, his expression innocent. "Just showing you some love, Father," he said, his voice sweet.
I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart. Tharros's affection was always a balm to my soul. I reached out with my tail, gently wrapping it around him in a loving gesture.
"You're always full of surprises, Tharros," I said, my voice filled with gratitude. "I'm lucky to have you as my son."

I nuzzled Father's tail, feeling a sense of comfort and security. He always smelled like smoke and earth, a scent that reminded me of our adventures together.
As I looked up at him, I saw a hint of a smile on his face. His eyes crinkled at the corners, and his voice was warm with affection.
"Hey, little one," he said, his voice rumbling deep in his chest. "What are you up to?"
I looked up at him innocently, trying to appear nonchalant. "Just showing you some love, Father," I said, my voice sweet.
Father chuckled, his tail wrapping around me in a gentle hug. I felt a surge of happiness, knowing that I could always make him smile.
As I basked in Father's affection, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our bond. We were more than just dragon and son - we were a team, a partnership forged in fire and adventure.
Father's tail tightened around me, holding me close as he leaned in to nuzzle my head. I felt his warm breath on my scales, and his voice rumbled softly. "I'm grateful for you too, Tharros. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." My eyes suddenly glow, and my father is shocked to see my eyes glow
Father's eyes widened in surprise, and he leaned back, his grip on me loosening. "Tharros, what's...what's happening to your eyes?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of wonder and concern.
I felt a strange sensation, like a surge of energy was building up inside me. My eyes glowed brighter, and I could feel my scales tingling. I didn't know what was happening, but I could sense that it was connected to the strange power that had been growing inside me.
Father's face was filled with a mix of awe and fear. He looked like he was seeing something he couldn't understand. "Tharros, talk to me," he said, his voice soft and urgent. "What's going on?" I question, "What is something wrong?" I tilted my head
Father's expression changed, and he looked at me with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "Your eyes, Tharros...they're glowing," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
I tilted my head to the side, unsure of what he meant. I didn't feel any different, except for the strange sensation of energy building up inside me.
Father took a step closer, his eyes fixed on mine. "It's...it's not normal for dragon eyes to glow like that," he said, his voice filled with a hint of wonder.
I looked up at him, my glowing eyes locked on his. I could sense his confusion, but I didn't know what to make of it myself.
I ran to the water pool of Drakon SpireI, splashed into the cool, clear water of the pool, sending ripples across the surface. As I looked down at my reflection, I gasped in shock. My eyes were still glowing, casting an eerie light on the water.
I stared at my reflection, mesmerized by the strange glow. I had never seen anything like it before. What was happening to me?
As I gazed deeper into the water, I noticed that the glow seemed to be spreading, illuminating the surrounding rocks and plants. It was as if my eyes were radiating a soft, ethereal light.
Suddenly, I felt a presence behind me. I turned to see Father standing at the edge of the pool, his eyes fixed on me with a mixture of wonder and concern.
I questioned him Father, "Why do my eyes glow like this father?" I look at him confused
Father's expression was solemn, and he hesitated before answering. "I'm not entirely sure, Tharros," he said, his voice measured. "But I think it might have something to do with your... heritage."
He paused, as if choosing his words carefully. "You see, Tharros, you're not just any ordinary dragon. You're a descendant of the ancient dragons, the ones who wielded the power of the elements."
Father's eyes locked onto mine, and I could sense a deep seriousness in his tone. "I think your glowing eyes might be a sign of your latent powers awakening."

As I was thinking, I thought,'Could it be the Dragonstone?'
The Dragonstone. I had been wondering if it might be connected to Tharros's sudden manifestation of powers. The ancient artifact was said to hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the dragons, and I had been studying it for years.
But could it really be the cause of Tharros's glowing eyes? I thought back to the day I had found the Dragonstone, and how it had seemed to call to me. I had felt a strange energy emanating from it, an energy that seemed to resonate with my own powers.
And now, Tharros was exhibiting powers that seemed to be connected to the Dragonstone. It was too much of a coincidence to ignore. I knew that I had to investigate further, to see if there was a link between the Dragonstone and Tharros's newfound abilities.
I think about when I ever noticed the glow in his eyes and the only time it happened is today
That's interesting. The fact that the glow only appeared today suggests that something specific triggered it. I thought back to our earlier conversation, trying to recall if anything out of the ordinary had happened.
And then it hit me - Tharros had said something strange earlier. He had told me that he was feeling a little off, and that he had sensed that something was wrong. Could it be that Tharros's powers were somehow connected to his emotions or intuition?
I made a mental note to ask Tharros more questions, to see if I could pinpoint exactly what might have triggered the glow in his eyes. This was getting more intriguing by the minute.
Suddenly, Thyriatrix, his mother, and my mate walk towards me and Tharros. Since Tharros is not facing directly at her, she doesn't see that Tharros eyes are now glowing
Thyriatrix approached us, a warm smile on her face. "Aetherius, I was looking all over for you," she said, her voice melodious. "I wanted to discuss the upcoming gathering of the dragon clans."
She glanced at Tharros, who was still facing the pool, his glowing eyes hidden from her view. "And how's my little one doing today?" she asked, her eyes shining with maternal affection.
I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. I didn't want to alarm Thyriatrix, but at the same time, I knew she needed to know about Tharros's newfound abilities. I decided to play it cautious, for now. "He's doing well, my love," I said, trying to sound nonchalant. "Just enjoying the pool."
Thyriatrix noticed something wrong, and she can see it something to do with Tharros
Thyriatrix's eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed intently on Tharros. "Aetherius, what's going on?" she asked, her voice low and concerned. "I can sense that something's off. It's Tharros, isn't it?"
She took a step closer, her eyes scanning Tharros's form. I could see the tension in her body, the way her claws extended slightly as she prepared for whatever might be wrong.
I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But before I could say anything, Thyriatrix's gaze fell on Tharros's face, and her eyes widened in shock. "His eyes..." she whispered, her voice trembling.

I sensed Mother's gaze on me, and I turned to face her. Her eyes were wide with surprise, and she took a step back, her claws extended.
"Tharros, your eyes..." she whispered, her voice trembling.
I looked up at her, unsure of what to do. I could sense her shock and concern, and it made me feel anxious. I didn't know what was happening to me, or why my eyes were glowing.
Father stepped forward, his voice calm and reassuring. "Thyriatrix, it's okay. We'll figure this out."
But Mother's eyes remained fixed on mine, filled with a mix of wonder and fear. I could sense her uncertainty, and it made me feel scared. What was happening to me? And why did Mother look so worried?
I question "Mother are you OK?"
Mother's expression softened, and she took a step closer to me. "I'm fine, Tharros," she said, her voice gentle. "I was just...surprised. I've never seen anything like this before."
She reached out a claw and gently touched my face, her eyes locked on mine. "Are you feeling okay, little one?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
I nodded, feeling a little better now that Mother was touching me. Her touch always made me feel safe and comforted. But I could still sense her worry, and it made me feel uncertain. What did it mean, that my eyes were glowing? And why was Mother so concerned?
I ask. "I know my eyes are glowing, but I have no idea how it happens, but I do know it happens when Father Tail tightened around me and held me close and nuzzled my head"
Mother's eyes widened in surprise, and she exchanged a glance with Father. "That's...interesting," she said, her voice thoughtful. "It's possible that the physical contact with your father triggered something within you."
Father nodded in agreement. "I think Thyriatrix might be onto something, Tharros. As dragons, we have a deep connection to our physical forms and the emotions that come with them. It's possible that the affection and comfort you felt from my tail wrapping around you awakened a dormant part of your powers."
Mother's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "This could be a significant discovery, Aetherius. We may need to explore this further and see if we can learn more about Tharros's abilities."
Father looked at Mother and said, "I might have or have not known something to do with it"
Mother's eyes narrowed, and she raised an eyebrow. "Aetherius, what do you mean?" she asked, her voice tinged with a hint of suspicion.
Father hesitated, looking at me before responding. "I...may have been researching some ancient lore, and I stumbled upon a passage that mentioned a unique bond between dragons and their offspring."
He paused, clearing his throat. "It seems that in some cases, a dragon's powers can be passed down to their young through physical contact, such as a nuzzle or a touch."
Mother's expression turned thoughtful, and she looked at me with newfound understanding. "That would explain why Tharros's eyes glowed when you touched him, Aetherius."
But then her gaze turned back to Father, and her voice took on a slightly stern tone. "Aetherius, why didn't you tell me about this research?"
Father seems to hide something, and mother ask "is there something else?" Father immediately shook his head and walked off to Lyriath and Kaidorix, my younger brothers
Mother's eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on Father's retreating back. She seemed to sense that he was hiding something, and her expression turned thoughtful.
I watched as Father approached my younger brothers, Lyriath and Kaidorix, who were playing near the pool. He smiled and ruffled their scales, but I could sense a hint of tension in his movements.
Mother's voice broke the silence. "Tharros, I think we need to have a talk with your father again. There's something he's not telling us." My eyes are still glowing, and my mother checks even closer
Mother's eyes scanned mine intently, her gaze searching for any clues. She reached out a claw and gently tilted my head, examining my eyes from different angles.
"Hmm, this is fascinating," she murmured, her voice filled with a mix of wonder and concern. "The glow is coming from within your eyes themselves, not just a reflection or an illusion."
She leaned in closer, her breath whispering against my scales. "I can see tiny, glowing threads weaving through your irises. It's as if your eyes are... channeling some kind of energy."
Mother's gaze locked onto mine, her expression serious. "Tharros, I think we need to be careful. We don't know what's causing this, or what it might mean for your future."
As the hours passed, I began to feel a growing sense of frustration and confusion. Every time Mother or I tried to bring up the topic of my glowing eyes, Father would evade the question or change the subject.
It was as if he was deliberately avoiding the truth, and it made me wonder what he was hiding. Mother's expression grew increasingly concerned, and I could sense her worry and frustration.
"Why won't he talk to us about this?" Mother asked, her voice low and exasperated, as we watched Father walk away once again.
I shook my head, feeling a sense of helplessness. "I don't know, Mother. But I'm starting to feel like there's something important that he's not telling us."
I looked at it and said "Mother since father won't talk, and he keeps avoiding us, I like to have you affection!" Mother smiled and licking my silver scales
Mother's smile lit up her face, and she wrapped her tail around me, pulling me close. Her warm breath tickled my scales as she began to lick them, her rough tongue scratching against my silver hide.
I felt a surge of comfort and affection, and my glowing eyes seemed to soften in response. Mother's touch was calming, and I leaned into her, enjoying the gentle sensation.
As she licked my scales, Mother began to hum a soft, rumbling melody. The vibrations of her hum resonated deep within my chest, and I felt my worries and frustrations begin to ease.
For a moment, everything else faded away, and all that mattered was the warmth and love of my mother's affection.
As the days turned into a week, I grew accustomed to the constant glow of my eyes. It had become a part of me, and I hardly noticed it anymore. But Mother's concern remained.
She continued to be supportive, showering me with affection and reassurance. But even she couldn't hide the concern etched on her face. Father, on the other hand, remained distant, avoiding any conversation about my glowing eyes.
As the week drew to a close, I began to feel a growing sense of unease. Why wouldn't Father talk to me about this? What was he hiding? And what did it mean for my future?
The questions swirled in my mind, but I had no answers. All I could do was wait and see what the future held. Mother's presence provided some comfort, but the silence from Father only added to my uncertainty.
