Detective Ryker walked into the police station, still reeling from the gruesome murder scene he'd left behind. He was greeted by the familiar sight of officers typing away on their computers, the sound of ringing phones, and the hum of the station's fluorescent lights.
As he made his way to the conference room, he noticed a commotion near the reception desk. A group of officers were gathered around, chatting and laughing with a woman he didn't recognize.

"Detective Ryker, I presume?" she said, extending a manicured hand.
Ryker took her hand, feeling a firm handshake. "Guilty as charged. And you are...?"
"Caledonia Hathaway, the new District Attorney," she replied, her voice playful but authoritative. "And I hear you've got a real treat for me - a murder that's going to make my job a real challenge."
Ryker raised an eyebrow. "You could say that. The victim...it's not pretty."
Caledonia's eyes sparkled with dark humor. "Oh, I love a good puzzle. And I hear this one's got all the ingredients - blood, gore, and a healthy dose of depravity. Sounds like a real page-turner."
Ryker's eyes narrowed. This woman was something else. He wasn't sure if he liked her style, but he couldn't deny that she was intriguing.
As they entered the conference room, her
gaze swept the table, taking in the crime scene photos and evidence reports. Her expression turned giddy.she nodded to Ryker
"Okay, Detective. Let's get down to business. Tell me everything you've got on this case. And don't spare the details - I've got a strong stomach."
Ryker hesitated for a moment before launching into the details of the case. As he spoke, Caledonia listened intently, her eyes never leaving his face. She was a woman who didn't flinch, even in the face of horror.

The team nodded in greeting, and she smiled, her eyes scanning the room.
"Hello, everyone," she said, her voice husky. "I'm looking forward to working with all of you."
As the team began to introduce themselves, her eyes landed on Jameson, who was grinning at her like a fool.
"And you are...?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm Jameson," he replied, his voice dripping with charm. "And you are...a vision of loveliness?"
Hathaway's smile faltered for a moment, and then she said, " I like a man with a big dick."
The room fell silent, and Ryker's eyes widened in shock. Jameson's face turned bright red, and he looked like he'd been punched in the gut.
Captain Lewis's face turned beet red with embarrassment. "Ah, DA Hathaway, I think we can dispense with the...ah...formalities."
Rodriguez smiled sweetly. "Oh, I'm just getting started, Captain."
