"Get up, Alfred. We've been caught," Rolan said through gritted teeth.
Rose raised a brow at their interaction.
"Oh? What are you doing here, Rolan?"
"Mummy-stealer! What are you doing here?!" Tobi suddenly spat, glaring at Rolan with his big, round eyes, trying to look furious.
"Kiddo, the amusement park is free for everyone. My assistant and I just came to play," Rolan said shamelessly, acting as if nothing was strange about it.
Alfred stared at Rolan. Was this man serious?! They had company business to handle, not time to play at an amusement park!
"So you came to play, huh?" Rose eyed him with clear doubt. Liar. She wouldn't believe him—she didn't want to believe him.
"Then keep having fun with your assistant," Rose said, turning to leave. But before she could walk away, Rolan suddenly grabbed her hand.
"Which part of the amusement park were you going to? Come on, let's have fun together," Rolan said with a cocky smile.
