The professor comes to the classroom and looks at the students and sighs and speaks in his normal voice since this is the first day and puts a hand up and closes it, meaning to be silent.
"Class, we have a new transfer from
Japan. Be good to him, and introduce yourself to them, boy..."
One student from the second row stands up and goes to the front of the class and sighs and looks at his classmates properly and speaks.
"Hello, my name is Yuma Kagane. I hope we all have a great school year together, and please be nice to me."
One guy from the back laughs, and while leaning on the back of his chair, with his eyes directed to Yuma's eyes, the guy speaks.
"Another transfer student, huh... Make sure to not mess with me or fuck around with me, or else... And if you do, I will make you suffer this year..."
The professor slams his hands on his desk while looking at Akamato's eyes and speaking in an angry tone.
"Don't you dare do that this year, Akamoto Kunorashi. Last year, you failed miserably again in my class. Are you not embarrassed in your
parents faces...?! You are still here while your classmates are in college now... Just please finish this year, and you have a path to choose like a responsible adult..."
The professor says in his calm-down tone on those last sentences, and Akamato just laughed back and just leaned back on his chair while chewing a bubble gum in his mouth, not caring about the words the professor tells him.
The professor just sighs and looks at Yuma, making a sign to go back to his seat on the second row for him to start teaching the classroom about the rules and time for the subjects because there is no lesson on the first day, but if teachers want to teach even a bit, they can.
He started printing on a paper of the subjects and their schedules so they can prepare and be quiet if the teacher of that subject is coming in. When the printing is done, he passes the papers to the first student of that row and just passes it to the back.
Yuma pulled out his notebook, and it has Hello Kitty in it, and he started writing the subjects schedule, and the professor started setting up the rules, and he wrote that down too because this is the last year he has to pass to go to college.
Fast forward to break time:
Yuma is alone at the table and pulls out his purple lunch box; it contains dumplings and two fried chickens prepared by his loving mother. He gets his fork and spoon and claps his hands not loudly and says in a quiet tone,
"ごちそうさまでした" - "Thanks for the food."
He was about to take a bite of his food when suddenly Akamato sat down beside him and punched his shoulder a bit and smirked at him while his eyes looked at him and spoke in his natural deep and menacing tone...
"Hey there, Nerd, the new transfer student from earlier, pull out your wallet and give me your lunch money, or else... you will get beat up by me at the gates..."
Yuma quickly panicked because he didn't want a fight on his first day at an American school and reached into his pocket from his pants, and with shaking hands, he pulled out his wallet and gave him 35 dollars and spoke in his natural soft tone…
"Okay, there it is... Please don't hurt or beat me up. I don't want any fights, and I just want to be friends with everyone that wants to be my friend... and I don't want to make enemies from this school too..."
Akamato takes the money from Yuma's hands and starts to count it, and he looks at Yuma's scared face and innocent eyes, and he speaks again.
"You must do that every time I'd ask for your lunch money. You got that?! If you don't... I will never hesitate to beat you up in front of everyone in this cafeteria... You don't know what kind of guy you are dealing with!"
Yuma nods with fear for his life. And he doesn't really want a fight or have enemies because he is not that type of person, and this is his first day. He wants to have a brainiac rival, not a real enemy...
