Kenny stood firmly as shards of rock flew around him, propelled by the immense magical aura emanating from Morgula's body.
"Boy..." Morgula growled in a hoarse voice filled with rage, his crimson eyes glowing darkly. "Do you think breaking my scythe makes you the victor?"
The aura around him intensified, shattering the cave walls. Rocks tumbled from the ceiling, and the ground trembled as if responding to an uncontrollable force.
Morgula continued, "Breaking my scythe? That doesn't stop my storms... It unleashes them all! These storms will only cease with my death!"
Morgula let out a roar so deafening that Kenny's ears rang for a moment. The scream echoed his belief that he far outmatched Kenny.
But Kenny, with a calm smile, replied, "If that's the case, then I have no choice but to end you."
Kenny gripped his bloodstained dagger tightly, observing the transformation taking place in Morgula's body with caution.
Morgula's body began to disintegrate and rebuild itself. His muscles grew more rigid, his skin taking on a metallic sheen. When the transformation was complete, he wielded two long swords resembling katanas, their edges glowing a sinister red.
"Ha..." Morgula smirked, gripping the twin swords. "You broke my scythe? Now I wield two blades. Show me your strength, boy!"
Before he could finish his words, Kenny vanished from sight.
Morgula was unable to complete his sentence when he felt a cold breeze pass behind him. He stood frozen for a moment, his brows furrowing in confusion.
"What? Where did he go?"
Kenny's icy voice echoed from behind him: "Morgula, your defense might be strong, but your body isn't indestructible. I could easily wound your hand—what stops me from severing your neck if I increase my speed just a bit?"
Before Morgula could comprehend what was happening, his head was already detached from his body, rolling onto the rocky ground. The body stood motionless for a brief moment before collapsing.
The magical aura dissipated, and the violent storms spinning through the cave ceased. Kenny stood amidst the deafening silence, panting heavily, as Morgula's body completely disintegrated, leaving no trace behind.
Ding!
[Boss defeated]
A system notification appeared before Kenny:

Kenny stood in stunned silence for a moment. He glanced at the new katana in his hand, glowing with a dark red hue.
"Just how far have I come?" he muttered under his breath.
Exhaustion began to overwhelm him. He collapsed onto the ground, his face pressed against the cold rock. His breaths were labored, his hands trembling from sheer fatigue.
His eyes wandered around the area. The cave, once filled with monsters and darkness, had cleared as if it had never been.
But what caught his attention most was the sound of rain.
"Rain?"
Kenny collapsed face-first from exhaustion.
The sky was pouring rain. The sound filled the air, as if washing away everything that had just happened.
A short distance away, lights from a luxurious car illuminated the area. The refined hum of its engine sharply contrasted with the surrounding devastation.
The car came to a stop, and two men in sleek black suits stepped out. They were hunters of Grade A.
The first, Tatsuya, stood firmly, his blue eyes glowing like flames. His eyes were already activated, and the aura surrounding him crackled with the power of lightning.
The second, Akito, exited from the other side of the car. Dressed similarly, his glowing red eyes exuded a different aura—one filled with power and mystery.
Tatsuya scanned the area and remarked, "What happened here?"
Akito, far calmer, responded in a low voice, "It seems the rumors were true. This is a Grade B Gate."
The two men walked around until their eyes fell upon Kenny, lying motionless on the ground.
Tatsuya, his gaze filled with concern and astonishment, said, "Looks like there are quite a few casualties here."
Akito, with an icy tone, replied, "Indeed."
