Alpha training today since he is part of The Beta Family.
Alpha Mason Williams and my cousin had left nearly 5 years ago to learn to be good leaders of the pack. My elder sister, Eva ,has been excited for their return since she would become Mason's chosen Luna at the ascension ceremony tonight.
I on the other hand decided to become the packs tech so I could help track the Soulless who have went rogue and on a killing spree.
All day ,my parents and I have been preparing for the ceremonies tonight. Decorating... dealing with caterer's and setting up the venders. I had just spoke to the photographer and videographer to show them were they need to be.
Eva has been on pins and needles all day getting ready for the night. Eva's snarky voice linked through the mindlink 🐺 "I'll tell Mom and Dad you don't want to help me because your jealous you haven't found your mate but I have."she Said. I then said 🐺 "First off I'm not helping a mate stealer,if you had just been kind enough to think about your actions because you and Mason gave goddess given mates and your throwing that away just for this." I said raising my voice a little through the mindlink. She thought it would be wise enough to continue speaking ,so Eva then said 🐺 "I am your LUNA!". 🐺 "First off your not MY LUNA! Secondly I am not your maid so get yourself ready because you were given TWO FUCKING HANDS!!!" I said as I seethed with anger. "Mom make Aurora help me with my dress!" Eva yelled from her room with that snarky voice of hers.
"Odessa! Help you elder sister get ready. She needs to get ready for tonight." My mother calls out to me from the kitchen. I came into the kitchen from the backyard and said "No!" as I turned back to finish hacking something on my computer. My mother snapped at me "Why must it always be difficult with you? Your sister needs help...Help her!" as she raised her voice at me.
I grunted out "Why must you always cater to her every whim? She is 18 years old not some toddler ,she is perfectly capable of dressing herself. I honestly feel like a servant, where she's treated like the princess of the family because she's the wolf and I'm the witch hybrid."
"Apologize to your mother now!" My father snapped at me. Rolling my eyes I refused to apologize,but I did go and help Eva. There is only so much disobedience this family allows me.
Walking into Eva's room I started hanging her clothes on a hanger just as she walks out of the bathroom. She smirks "Good! Your here! I see telling Daddy has you doing as your told. Now I need you to do my hair...or do I have to get Daddy's attention again?". "I once hoped you would grow out of your mean girl mentality and learn to be a decent human being at one point....but noooo you proved me wrong once again! Even your wolf is rotten to the core!" I said with a fake smile the one she hates as I left the room.
Mother then barged into my room and started yelling about something saying "Give respect to your elder sister ,help her, your a disgrace to this family" and I just shrugged and told her to Get out! And leave me alone.
I jumped into a quick shower. Getting my own gown on...I quickly braided two thin braids of my Raven black hair...pulling them back and fastend them with a non jeweled barette. I put a little makeup on my face ,and exited my room.
I then frowned...no matter how hard I try..I will always be the the extra daughter they didn't want....the kid no one expected...yet here I am.
