Chapter 1 - Birth of a Legend

It was a new dawn for the world—a day unlike any that had come before. The environment itself seemed to awaken with new life. A fresh breeze, laden with the delicate scent of blooming flowers, swept across the lands, reaching even the farthest corners.

In a calm forest within the kingdom of Verdalis, a young man sat meditating. He wore a flowing black-and-white robe and appeared to be in his early twenties. His black hair and remarkably attractive face exuded calm and magnificence.

In his right hand, he held a golden necklace shaped like a star. Suddenly, the necklace began to tremble and glow warmly, drawing him out of his meditative state.

A serene smile crossed his face as he gazed at the radiant necklace. Holding it with both hands, he looked up at the cloudless night sky.

"At last, your birth is about to happen. My lord, I am so happy to feel your presence again."

Taking a deep breath, he stood and slowly closed his eyes.

"Reveal,"

he commanded. When he opened his eyes, they glowed with a white light, and his body erupted in flames that blazed like the sun.

In an instant, the flames dissipated, revealing his transformed figure. He was no ordinary human—he was the King of the Heavens, God Celestion, ruler of the upper realm.Spreading his massive wings, Celestion soared into the distant sky. After flying far above the earth, he turned and cast the necklace toward the ground. It fell like a shooting star, leaving a golden trail behind.

"Go, find your owner. He might miss you a lot." he said, his gaze fixed on a grand city in the distance.

The necklace drifted silently through the city streets, an unassuming traveler cloaked in moonlight. Though it glimmered faintly under the watchful stars, not a single soul turned their gaze to it. It floated with quiet purpose, weaving past towering buildings and slumbering homes, until it reached a grand, sprawling mansion bathed in silver moonbeams.

With a gentle shimmer, it slipped through an open window, gliding softly into the stillness of the night. The room it entered was serene, bathed in the soft glow of starlight spilling through the curtains. In the heart of the room lay a woman, radiant in her slumber, her features serene and timeless. Her hands rested lovingly on the swell of her belly, cradling the life growing within her.

The necklace hovered above her, as if enchanted by the quiet beauty of the scene. It lingered for a moment, its golden light flickering like a heartbeat, before descending slowly toward her. As it neared her belly, it seemed to recognize something profound—a connection, a purpose.

A soft, ethereal glow enveloped the necklace, and it began to transform. Its light grew warmer, brighter, until it became a radiant beam that gently merged with the mother's belly. The room was bathed in a golden luminescence, as if the universe itself held its breath in reverence.

For a moment, time stood still. The glow faded, and the necklace was gone. But in its place remained a faint, otherworldly aura, as though the unborn child now carried the essence of something extraordinary. The woman, still lost in dreams, smiled faintly, her hands cradling her belly as if she too sensed the miracle that had unfolded.

And so, the night embraced its secret, as the world beyond continued to sleep, unaware of the luminous destiny that had just begun to bloom.

Huh, where am I?

Why am I trapped in this small, dark space?

It's getting tight. I feel pain.

Wait—I recognize this sensation. How can this be? Am I… being born again?

Oh, now I remember. I sacrificed my life to save my sister. Why didn't she leave the building before it collapsed? Oh, right—she was pregnant and couldn't move quickly.

In the end, I had to die in order to save her life. But I don't regret it. I hope she's safe.

By the way, who am I this time? Male or female?

...What am I thinking? Have I ever been a woman? Ugh.

I've lived through millions of lifetimes, yet I still can't get used to the pain of birth. Will I ever escape this cycle? It's not the rebirth that bothers me—it's the memories. Why can't I forget the experiences and feelings of my past lives?

Anyway, I can feel my body. As I suspected, I'm going to be born human. And I'm a boy. I seem healthy—what a relief. Of course, with all the good karma I've accumulated, I should be.

I think my birth is imminent. That's probably why I've regained consciousness. Perfect timing. I can use mind waves to adjust my current body to match my intelligence and memories. Normally, having awareness in the womb is rare, but it's not unheard of. Time to concentrate.

Wait, what's this? My mind waves are ten times stronger than before. This is unexpected.

I discovered mind waves when I was a beast man in another universe where everyone was half-human, half-animal. It took a thousand more lifetimes to fully master them. Even then, they never grew this powerful. At this rate, I can adjust my body even before birth.

Haha, what a surprise! I can sense mana as well. It seems the world I'm being born into is rich in magic or superhuman abilities. Becoming the strongest here won't be impossible.

I'll wait until my birth...

I don't know how much time has passed. The pain is unbearable, but I achieved my goal. I've fully built my body using mind waves.

Normally, this process would take at least a year post-birth. What a remarkable body. And no, I didn't steal it from its original owner. This body was always meant to be mine.

Ah… this feeling. I'm being pulled. I must be about to be born.

Finally, I see light. Someone is pulling me out. The hands are soft—probably a woman.

I'm out, I'm free.

I can't open my eyes, but I see a white light. Someone's holding me. This must be the same person who pulled me out. My hands rest on something round… is that a breast? Oh, it is. Definitely a woman. But she's not my mother. Perhaps a midwife? I think she is saying something.

Wait.. is she speaking "Syltharian". That means I've been born here before. It's a good thing that I know Syltharian very well.

She's passing me to someone else. This person is wearing soft clothes and feels warm—her aura is kind. This must be my mother. She's saying something.

"You're so beautiful. I love you so much," she says with a voice filled with emotion.

She's crying. I must mean a lot to her. I wish I could see her face.

Oh, wow. She's stunning. She looks like an angel—kind, gentle, and radiant.

Let's take a look around. The bed isn't visible, but the room is enormous and luxurious. Is this a palace? Am I a prince? It doesn't really matter. I've been born into wealth and poverty before; I'm used to it.

Heavy footsteps echo in the hallway. Someone is coming. A man enters and stands before my mother and me. He's tall and handsome, though he looks tired. Likely my father.

"Leone, look! This is our son. Doesn't he look like you?" my mother says, her face glowing with joy.

My father sits on the bed and smiles charmingly. He kisses her forehead.

"Don't lie, Maria. He looks just like you. Beautiful, like you," he replies, wrapping her in a loving embrace. I love you."

Haha, my father's a romantic one. Good for my mother. By the way, something's missing. Oh, right. Where's the line: "Congratulations, it's a boy!"? Looks like no one said it. That's fine by me. I've never liked that part anyway.

"Honey, did you decide on a name for him?" my father asked, his voice soft and filled with tenderness as his hand rested gently on my head.

Maria looked down at me, her eyes sparkling with affection.

How about 'Ashan'?

Leone's face lit up with joy. "I like it," he said, his voice warm and reassuring.

Apparently I was born into a wealthy family. My father Leone is wearing a nobleman's suit. It is a masterpiece, a blend of style and grace that spoke of a world where fashion was an art form. This suit is more than just clothing; it tells a story of refinement, culture, and the value placed on craftsmanship. It makes me wonder—could this world be a sub-universe of Earth? If that's the case, then this world might just be one where harmony and sophistication thrive.

I'll wait. After I grow up, I will find out what kind of world this is.

To be continued...
