This story takes place in a realm of stagnation. Whether hero, villain or otherwise, it's as if the heavens themselves have decreed that this realm is doomed to mediocrity, the world itself fights against genius, causing endless suffering.

But a glimmer of hope yet exists, amidst the scant resources of this backwater universe. Understanding the death of this shard is steadily approching the gods themselves sacrificed themselves to give the many worlds a final chance - the people call it the final calamity, the end times.

But those who have ventured through the invasion of monsters, through their portals and risked everything to fight for their precious blue star call it by another name:

Hope.

This story follows that of our young protagonist Xerum as he follows hope's guidance and attempts to restore the Stagnant Realm.
