As I walked into Richard's place, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I had just gotten back from my date with Felix, and I was still on cloud nine. But as I saw Richard and Raymond sitting on the couch, I knew I had to compose myself.
"Hey, guys," I said, trying to sound casual. "What's up?"
Richard and Raymond looked up at me, their eyes narrowing slightly. "Where have you been?" Richard asked, his voice firm but gentle.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. But then I decided to just go for it. "I was on a date with Felix," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
Raymond's eyes widened in surprise, while Richard's expression turned serious. "Felix?" Raymond repeated. "As in, our Felix?"
I nodded, feeling a little defensive. "Yes, that Felix. What's wrong with that?"
Richard leaned forward, his eyes locked on mine. "Sophia, we just want what's best for you," he said. "And we're not sure if Felix is the right guy for you."
I felt a surge of frustration at their words. "You don't even know him," I said. "You don't know what he's like, or how he makes me feel."
Raymond held up his hands, his expression calming. "Hey, we're just trying to look out for you," he said. "We don't want you to get hurt."
I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "I appreciate that," I said. "But I think I can handle myself. And besides, Felix is a great guy. He's kind, and funny, and he really cares about me."
Richard and Raymond exchanged a skeptical look, but they didn't push the issue further. Instead, they just nodded and told me to be careful.
I nodded, feeling a little relieved that the conversation was over. As I headed to my room, I couldn't help but feel a little excited. I had a feeling that Felix was going to call me soon, and I couldn't wait to talk to him.
Just as I was changing into my pajamas, my phone rang. I smiled as I saw Felix's name on the screen.
"Hey," I said, trying to sound casual.
"Hey," Felix replied, his voice low and husky. "I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. I had an amazing time tonight."
I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I had an amazing time too," I said. "I'm so glad we did this."
Felix chuckled. "Me too," he said. "I was a little nervous at first, but...yeah, it just felt right."
I nodded, even though he couldn't see me. "I know exactly what you mean," I said.
We talked for a few more minutes, just chatting and laughing together. As we talked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with Felix. It was like we were meant to be together, like we were two pieces of a puzzle that fit perfectly.
As we said our goodbyes and hung up the phone, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. I had a feeling that this was just the beginning of something special, something that could change my life forever.
Felix pov
As I hung up the phone with Sophia, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. Our date had been everything I had hoped for and more. We had laughed and joked, and I had felt a sense of connection with her that I had never felt before.
I lay back on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I couldn't believe how much I had enjoyed myself tonight. Sophia was everything I had ever wanted in a partner - smart, funny, beautiful...and now, I was starting to realize that I might actually have feelings for her.
I thought back to our conversation earlier, and how natural it had felt to talk to her. I had always known that Sophia was special, but tonight had confirmed it for me.
As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us. Would we go on more dates? Would we eventually become a couple?
I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of hope that I hadn't felt in a long time. Whatever happened, I knew that I was excited to find out.
The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I got out of bed and started getting ready for the day, my mind still on Sophia.
As I was brushing my teeth, my phone buzzed with a text from Raymond. "Hey, man, what's up?" he asked.
I smiled to myself, knowing that Raymond was probably wondering about my date with Sophia. "Not much, just getting ready for the day," I replied.
Raymond responded with a joke, and we spent the next few minutes texting back and forth. But even as I was laughing at his jokes, my mind was still on Sophia.
I couldn't wait to see her again.
I made a mental note to ask her out on another date soon. Maybe we could go to the beach, or try out that new restaurant that had just opened up downtown.
The possibilities were endless, and I was excited to explore them all with Sophia by my side.
Raymond office
I walked into Raymond's office, feeling a sense of nervousness that I hadn't experienced in a long time. I had been friends with Raymond for years, and I had always considered him to be one of my closest friends. But now, I was about to tell him something that could potentially change our friendship forever.
"Hey, man," I said, trying to sound casual. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
Raymond looked up from his computer, a look of curiosity on his face. "What's up?" he asked.
I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. "It's about Sophia," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Raymond's expression changed, his eyes narrowing slightly. "What about Sophia?" he asked, his voice firm.
I hesitated, unsure of how to proceed. But then I remembered why I had come here in the first place. I wanted to be honest with Raymond, to tell him how I really felt.
"I'm serious about her, Raymond," I said, my voice sincere. "I know it may seem sudden, but...I don't know, I just feel a connection with her that I've never felt with anyone before."
Raymond's expression turned dark, his eyes flashing with anger. "You're serious about my sister?" he repeated, his voice low and menacing.
I nodded, trying to stand my ground. "Yes, I am," I said. "I know you may not approve, but...I don't know, I just feel like this is something real."
Raymond's face turned red with rage, and for a moment, I thought he was going to hit me. "If anything happens to my sister, I'll kill you," he said, his voice deadly serious.
I felt a surge of fear at his words, but then I remembered why I was here. I was here to be honest with Raymond, to tell him how I really felt.
"I'm afraid," I said, trying to sound joking. But then my expression turned serious. "No, I'm not afraid. Because I know that I would never hurt Sophia. I love her, Raymond. And I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make her happy."
Raymond's expression softened slightly, and for a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of understanding in his eyes. But then his face hardened again, and he shook his head.
"I don't know, Felix," he said. "I just don't know if I can trust you with my sister."
I nodded, trying to understand where Raymond was coming from. "I know this may be hard for you to accept," I said. "But I'm asking you to trust me, Raymond. I'm asking you to believe that I would never hurt Sophia."
Raymond sighed, rubbing his temples. "I need time to think about this," he said. "I need time to process everything."
I nodded, trying to be patient. "I understand," I said. "Take all the time you need, Raymond. But please, just keep an open mind. And remember, I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to be here for Sophia, no matter what."
Raymond looked up at me, his eyes searching mine. And for a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, Raymond would come around and see things from my perspective. Maybe he would realize that I was genuinely in love with Sophia, and that I would do anything to make her happy.
Raymond sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look, Felix, I need to tell you something. You need to tell Richard about this."
I felt a surge of dread at the mention of Richard's name. Richard is Raymond older brother, and he was always so serious and stern. I had a feeling that he was not going to take the news of my interest in Sophia very well.
"Ahh, Richard is always so sad," I said, trying to joke. "How will that be?"
Raymond didn't laugh. "Felix, this is serious. You need to tell Richard about this. He's our older brother, and he deserves to know."
I sighed, feeling a sense of resignation. "Fine, I'll tell him. But can I just tell him that you spoke to me? That way, I don't have to deal with his wrath."
Raymond shook his head. "No, Felix. You need to tell him yourself. And you need to be honest with him."
Just then, Richard walked into the office, a serious expression on his face. "What's going on here?" he asked.
Raymond gestured to me. "Felix here has something to tell you."
Richard's eyes narrowed. "What is it?"
I took a deep breath, trying to gather my courage. But before I could say anything, Richard's expression turned stern.
"I don't know what's going on, but I never knew that my brother best friend is a coward," he said, his voice dripping with disdain.
I felt a surge of anger at his words, but I knew that I deserved them. I was a coward, and I knew it. But I was determined to change that. I was determined to be honest with Richard, and to tell him the truth about my relationship with Sophia.
I took a deep breath and approached Richard, who was sitting on the couch, staring at me with a cold expression.
"Richard, I need to talk to you about something," I said, trying to sound calm.
Richard raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"
I hesitated for a moment before blurting out the truth. "I like Sophia. I know it may seem sudden, but I just can't help how I feel."
Richard's expression turned icy cold, and he stood up, towering over me. "Leave my sister alone," he growled.
I took a step back, intimidated by Richard's aura. But I knew I had to stand up for myself and for my feelings.
"Richard, please listen to me," I said, trying to reason with him. "I know you're protective of Sophia, but I promise I'll take care of her. I'll do everything in my power to make her happy."
Richard's expression didn't change, but he seemed to be considering my words. After a moment of silence, he spoke up.
"If anything happens to my sister, I'll kill you," he said, his voice low and deadly serious.
I felt a chill run down my spine as I looked into Richard's eyes. I saw a cold, killing aura emanating from him, and I knew he wasn't joking.
"I understand," I said, trying to sound calm. "I promise I'll take care of Sophia. I'll do everything in my power to keep her safe."
Richard's expression didn't change, but he nodded slightly. "See that you do," he said, before turning and walking away.
I watched him go, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew I had just made a promise to Richard that I had to keep, no matter what.
As soon as Richard walked away, Raymond burst out laughing. "I don't know that my best friend is a coward!" he exclaimed, chuckling.
I rolled my eyes, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Shut up, Raymond," I said, trying to sound annoyed.
But Raymond just kept laughing. "I'm serious, Felix! You were shaking in your boots when Richard was talking to you!"
I sighed, feeling a bit defensive. "Hey, Richard can be intimidating, okay? But I'm not afraid of him."
Raymond's laughter finally started to die down, and he grinned at me. "I'm just teasing you, Felix. But seriously, I'm glad you told Richard about Sophia. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that."
I smiled back at Raymond, feeling a bit relieved. "Thanks, man. I just hope everything works out between Sophia and me."
Raymond nodded, his expression turning serious. "I'm sure it will, Felix. Just be honest with Sophia and treat her right, and everything will be fine."
I nodded, feeling a bit more confident. "I will, Raymond. Thanks for the advice."
