Chapter 14 - wedding preparations

Maria walked into the dressing room, surrounded by racks of elegant wedding gowns. Andrew, her best friend, sat on a couch, sipping champagne and offering his opinions.

The first gown Maria tried on was a beautiful lace mermaid dress. She walked out of the dressing room, twirling around to show off the gown's delicate details.

Andrew's face scrunched up in distaste. "No, no, no! This one is not it, honey. You look like a fish stuck in a net."

Maria laughed, feeling a bit deflated. "Okay, okay. What do you suggest?"

Andrew jumped up from the couch, his eyes scanning the racks of gowns. "Let's try something more classic, more elegant. Something that will make Raymond's jaw drop."

The next gown Maria tried on was a stunning silk ball gown. Andrew's eyes widened in approval as Maria walked out of the dressing room.

"Yes, yes, yes! This is it, honey! You look like a princess, a true bride."

But just as Maria was about to decide on the gown, Sofia and Sophia, the twins, burst into the room.

"Wait, wait, wait! Don't decide on anything yet!" Sophia exclaimed. "We have some gowns that we think you should try on."

The twins proceeded to show Maria some exquisite gowns, each one more beautiful than the last. Maria was torn, unable to decide which gown to choose.

Andrew, sensing Maria's indecision, stepped in. "Okay, let's make this easier. We'll narrow it down to three gowns, and then you can decide."

With Andrew's help, Maria narrowed down her choices to three stunning gowns. She tried on each one, twirling around to show off the delicate details.

As Maria modeled each gown, Andrew, Sophia, and Sofia offered their opinions, each one more enthusiastic than the last.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, Maria made her decision. She chose a beautiful lace gown, one that made her feel like a true bride.

As Maria walked out of the dressing room, her mother, Miss Debora, burst into tears. "You look beautiful, sweetie. Just like a princess."

Maria smiled, feeling happy and relieved. She had found her perfect wedding gown, and she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle in it.

But little did Maria know, her happiness was short-lived. Raymond's revenge plan was still in motion, and it would soon come crashing down on her.

Meanwhile, Raymond was busy with his own preparations. He was at the wedding venue, overseeing the setup and decorations.

As he worked, Sophia and Sophia, the twins, approached him. "Raymond, we need to talk to you about something," Sophia said, her voice serious.

Raymond looked at them, his heart racing with anticipation. "What is it?"

"It's about Maria's wedding gown," Sophia said. "We think you should see it before the wedding."

Raymond's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. "Why?"

Sophia smiled, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Let's just say that Maria's gown is not what you expect. And we think you'll be very interested in seeing it.

No way Sofia exclaimed, he will see the gown on their wedding day.

After finding the perfect wedding gown, Maria and her entourage headed to a nearby jewelry store to find the perfect accessories. Andrew, Maria's best friend, was excited to help Maria find the perfect jewelry to match her gown.

As they browsed the store, Maria's mother, Mrs Debora, had an eye for the perfect pieces. "Maria, try on this necklace. It will match your gown perfectly."

Maria tried on the necklace and admired herself in the mirror. "I love it, Mom."

Next, they headed to a shoe store to find the perfect shoes to match Maria's gown. Andrew had a keen eye for shoes and helped Maria find the perfect pair.

After a fun-filled day of shopping, Maria and her entourage headed back to her family's house. As they arrived, Maria's father, Mr Clinton, and her brothers, Van and Daniel, were waiting for them in the living room.

"Welcome back, dear," Mr Clinton said, smiling at Maria. "We've been waiting for you."

Maria smiled, feeling happy to see her family. "Hi, Dad. Hi, guys."

As they chatted, Mrs Debora brought up the topic of gifts. "We need to decide on a gift for Maria. Something special, since she's our only daughter."

Maria, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "I'm going to go upstairs and get some things. I'll be right back."

As Maria headed upstairs, her family began to discuss the details of the gift. "We'll get her a brand-new car," Mr Clinton said, smiling. "Something she'll love."

Mrs Debora nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "And we'll keep it a secret until the wedding day."

Van and Daniel grinned, looking forward to seeing Maria's reaction when she received the gift. Little did they know, Raymond had a surprise of his own planned for the wedding day.
