Chapter 16 - the silent shadow

John smiled, acknowledging Zoe Karen's statement. "He's still alive, isn't he?" he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "He'd try to kill me if not for our deal he would be dead the moment he try to kill me."

Zoe Karen nodded. "I guess I will have to thank you for not killing him," she said, a wry smile playing on her lips.

Zoe Karen walked past John, heading towards the door. "I would advise you to be careful," she warned, her voice low. "Zoe Loni is not as easy as you think."

John smiled outwardly. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind," he replied. However, his internal monologue was quite different. I don't have the time to play with him now, he thought. The secret realm is going to open tomorrow. I have to get some sleep.

He walked towards the bed and sat down, and started cultivating .

After a while john open his eyes to the soft glow of the moonlight. He sat up and walked towards the window, gazing at the full moon still hanging in the sky. "I guess it's time to pay my ticket a visit," he muttered. "But before that, there's something I have to do."

John vanished into the shadows, utilizing his Shadow God technique. He moved through the estate with the grace of a phantom, his movements unseen, unheard.

I've been looking around for a while, but I still can't find anything, he thought. Since I couldn't find the treasury, no need to waste my time looking around.

It is time to pay " The Zoe Family young Master A Visit" John smiled

John continued to move through the shadows, his senses heightened. After a while, he stopped, his senses tingling. He was standing in front of a large courtyard.

"I finally found the courtyard of that bastard Zoe Loni," John whispered to himself.

He moved into the courtyard, his movements fluid and silent.

This place is bigger than I thought, John observed as he navigated the grounds.

He moved through the buildings within the courtyard, his movements a whisper of shadow.

"What the hell?" John muttered as he moved from room to room. "How many rooms are they?"

After a while, he heard it – the voice of Zoe Loni.

"I Finally found you," John murmured, a predatory glint in his eyes.
