Cole and the group arrived at the edge of college grounds where the barrier had a rip. Cole crouched down and stretched out his hand towards it and immediately the barrier came into view.
" Ready..." Cole asked.
Jenny nodded as the rest got I to formation. Cole nodded and Jenny and the rest recited some words before channelling energy to the barrier to fix the rip.
" That should hold it before the council could have a look..." Cole said . " Now you'll be stationed here for a few days to keep an eye for any shadows that may have crossed in..."
They all listened as Cole gave out instructions.

" I don't get it if there are other colleges other than Ashyn why don't we reach out..." Macy asked in the class.
" Because unlike us . The Frontline, Draiken and Renville colleges are well hidden . They have cloacking magic that makes it difficult to track them ..." Edna said.
" Why don't we have it ... " Rory a third year asked.
" Because our gem was lost at battle..." Ryan answered him . " The battle where Mariana took the gem ..."
Macy sunk into her chair. The battle in which her grandmother turned evil and tried to kill her due to her power and forced her to be separated from her parents.
" Exactly but we have some knowledge..." Edna said. " We could permanently cut off the supplies to the Zayira..."
" If we do that we render them weak ..." Henry said.
" They have dark magic..." Another second year chipped in .
" Every dark magic has its consequences..." Chase spoke up. " If you practice it you have to pay back..."
Macy looked at him as he spoke. Seems his intelligent side still existed. ' Did you practice it..'
' What do you think!'
Macy turned her gaze away from him and back to Edna.

" I missed you..." Harry crept up behind Macy wrapping his arms around her.
Macy laughed and turned to face him. "Really?" Macy said sarcastically." I doubt it !"
Harry pulled her in with the entire hall watching. Macy giggled as he kissed her and the hall erupted in Uuuus and cheers.
" You are really enjoying this..." Macy said to Harry.
" What , showing everyone am deeply in love or teasing you ..." Harry said landing another kiss.
Just then their moment was interrupted by Harley.
" Alright we get it. Geez..."
Harry and Macy turned to face him with Macy still in Harry's arms. Harry refused to let go.
" Now I need you're boyfriend for leadership meeting..." Harley said. " Could you spare your precious moment for the rest of us .. "
Harry chuckled and placed a kiss on her cheek before leaving. Harley rolled his eyes as he left soon after.
Macy grabbed her dish from the counter and went on to join her friends.
" Such a grumpy man ..." Judy said.
" I wouldn't be shocked if he had no love life..." Luke said.
Macy and the rest laughed. But then Judy went all silent.
" Guys am worried about my sister..." Judy said.
" I'm sure she'll be fine . In a couple of days you'll see each other..." Luke assured her. " She is the leader of the intrepids after all..."
Judy smiled but the nagging feeling didn't leave her.
" You have got to be kidding me..." Danny said and they all turned their gaze to see what made her day that.
Their jaws dropped open. Mark strolled in walking towards the counter.
" Is he ..." Judy started off.
" Alive! Yeah pretty much..." Henry said.
" He seems perfectly okay..." Luke said.
Macy felt her throat go dry and as she recounted of the events she felt power grow within her. Just then thunder and lightning struck making the ground rumble.
' Calm down!'
Macy looked away from Mark as her nails dug into her palm. Blood dripped but it was nothing. Her eyes were foggy and a storm was brewing outside.
" Macy look at me ..." Judy said. " You need to calm down ..."
Luke gently stroked her back but she was burning hit and he immediately withdrew.
" Fuck she's burning up!" Luke said.
Macy took deep breaths as thunder ripped through the sky. If she didn't stop she would bring down the entire structure.
" I need to leave...." Macy said as she got up and rushed out of the hall. She ran to the mystic dunes right next to the valley.
It was deserted and she crumbled to the ground as the power was ready to devour her.
Just then she was pulled into the valley and looked up to see Chase.
" Calm down unless you want to die!" He yelled but Macy couldn't. She suddenly heard wing. Beats and she could barely see it through her clouded eyes.
Chase held her palm and at once she felt power slowly leave her body and her heartbeat which was beating wildly slowed down.
Once she had calmed down the storm that was about to pour slowly didpatted but still darkness covered her. She looked up and her heat immediately started to race not by power but shock.
