" I told you it's just a power override..." Harley said.
" It won't hurt to conduct tests..." Cara said as Harley stood to his feet.
" On a child!" Harley yelled. " She's already told you everything you want to know..."
" We can't be sure!" Cara said .
The other council members simply watched the spectacle unfold.
" We shall get back to this later..." a tall man with a scar on his left cheek said. " We've got guests coming and need to prepare!"
Harley and Cara went back to their seats and listened to what had to be said.

" You okay?" Danny asked Macy.
Macy nodded. She'd just been interrogated by the council and hadn't told them the full truth . She couldn't. She simply stated that she felt power override her system and she couldn't remember what happened next.
" That was honestly badass!" Luke said as he turned his chair to face Macy . " You went as pale as a ghost!"
" Shut up genius!" Judy said.
Just then Henry rushed in class. He was panting and had a wide eyed expression.
" There here!" He said " The vampires are here!"
Everyone's head jerked towards the windowed hopping to get a glimpse. Macy's heart was pounding ready to leap from her body.
" You won't see them ..." Edna said as she got into class. " Well at least not now..."
" Why are they here?" Luke asked.
" That is way above you..." Edna responded as she turned to face Macy." Are you okay?"
Macy nodded. Edna then faced the class "Since you're eager to learn about them, tell me all you know..."
The class went into deep thought .
" Well for starters....they are immortals..." Judy said .
" Yes but not all..." A guy in huge glasses said. " Only born vampires are immortals. Those bitten can only live for long..."
Hands were raised each wishing to point out a fact. Edna pointed at a girl with short hair.
" Kelly, "
" Ummm ...I have a question?" Kelly started off. " Why don't we have many of them in the college..."
" Because they're old..." Henry said and a few giggled.
" Not quite..." Edna said .
" Its because of what happened a few years back!" Luke said
" And that is..." Edna ushered him on.
" The war . Invasion of the dark spirits which was blamed on the others causing the vampires lots of damage and most of the people's lives as sacrifices to the dark spirits to stop them ..." Luke explained.
Macy was stunned. She had never heard of such a war . Ariana never mentioned anything about it.
" Or maybe it's the supposed pact that they won't involve themselves with the rest ..." Henry blurted out.
" Does it really exist?" Judy asked.
" I'll leave you to ponder over this fact . Next time we shall go on from there...class dismissed.." Edna said. " Macy kindly stay back..."
The rest left heading to their activities. Macy stayed back as per Edna's request.
" You sure you're okay?" Edna asked .
Macy nodded. " I'm okay, miss.."
" Good . I want to warn . Be careful on your getaway with your friend ..." Edna said raising a brow at Macy.
" Ummm ...I..."
" Just be careful. And you better not be lying about your earlier encounter cause you'll land yourself in greater trouble...."

" So bro did you hear..." Francis asked Harry as they spared in the field.
" About what..." Harry asked throwing another punch at Francis and missing him by an inch.
" One of the newbies had a power override and blacked out..." Francis said. " Heard her eyes turned white..."
Harry stopped and was immediately concerned about Macy.
" What was her name..."
" No idea!"
Francis spotted Harry's shift in mood and decided to change topic.
" Excited to see your family?" He asked. " It has been a while..."
" Yeah...hey I gotta go..." Harry said and left the field.

Macy , Danny, Luke , Judy and Henry sat in the cafeteria discussing the arrival of the vampires. They had been given the whole afternoon off since the leaders had a meeting.
" Im going to utilize this time by joining the seniors going out to have a good time ..." Luke said.
" Count me in !" Danny said as she first bumped with Luke.
" Well I have plans with Misha ..."
" The third year.." Judy asked
" Yep but it's not what you're thinking. We just come from the same place and I have the same power . Airbending." Henry explained.
The rest seemed stunned he'd tapped into his power real quick.
" Well I'm simply going to enjoy time in the valley. Heard it's open for the day..." Judy said.
The Valle was the home base for most magical creatures and was rarely opened for people to avoid corrupting magic.
"What about you?" Luke asked facing Macy seated next to Judy.
" Rest. After the beating Megan delivered I can't afford to go pouncing around..." Macy said rubbing her sore back.
" Good plan!" Judy said.
They went on eating their lunch .

Macy got to her room exhausted from earlier. She remembered her mother or at least the entity's words and the cold streak she felt right before blacking out.
" Hey stranger!" Harry appeared from the shadows of her room .
" What are you doing here...?" Macy asked as she stood up.
He simply passed her and sat on her bed. She turned to face and he took her hands.
" Heard what happened...you okay ?"
Macy nodded. " I'm fine! Just a power override no biggie..."
" Good. So now I can do this !"
Harry said pulling Macy and rolling her on her back placing himself on top.
" What are you doing?" Macy asked flustered.
" Spending time with my girlfriend!" Harry casually responded.
