"Uncle Manuel, what are those stars?" Miguel asked.
"Those stars are the formation of the little dipper and the star formation to the left is the big dipper." Manuel answered him, "Do you like stars, Miguel."
"Yes, I think one day I'll be an astronaut and travel to space." Miguel said with confidence.
"Oh, Yeah." Manuel said, "You want to learn more about stars?"
Strongly and with merit, "I would be the best astronaut!" He salutes, "I'll explore the wides and smalls of the unknown universe!"
"Uncle Manuel, is the shower soon?" Curiosity rises in his voice.
We came out here for the meteor shower thats happening tonight. I finally had saved up just enough money to buy the telescope he had been asking for. Hell, was he excited the next day it was insane. Never had I seen him more happy.
"Yeah should be in just a few more minutes." answering, "Let me set up the scope, so you can watch."
"Please, Uncle hurry, I want to watch the shower." Miguel said, excitingly.
"Who's uncle Hurry, I don't know an uncle Hurry." Jokingly said, Manuel.
He give me a disappointed look and doesn't even smile. Knowing my timing I give him a real answer.
"It's already done I just need to fix the lenses." I said, "So just have patience and sit."
He steps back, away from my direction and sits down on my metal chair with his short feet dangling a few inches from the ground swinging. After, a few minutes I called him back over to look through the scope.
Manuel called for Miguel, "Miguel the shower is going to start. Come over."
He jumps out the chair and bolts to the scope. I adjust the scope so the he can see the meteors.
"This is the angle at which you will see the meteors, okay don't move it." Manuel commands him.
" Okay, Uncle don't move this from the area or I won't see the meteor." Miguel answered.
Miguel really wanted to watch the meteor shower that i wasn't t able to even see through the scope. He just hogged the scope all night till i told him he has to sleep.
"Please Uncle, just a few more minutes," Miguel Begged.
"Spell Minutes and i'll think about it." Manuel said, cockiness in his voice.
Quickly he spelled, "M-I-N-U-T-S"
"And the board says, BZZZZZZZTT! WRONG!!! Time to go inside now, Miguel."
Though dissatisfied that he couldn't watch alittle more he was still happy that he was able to watch the shower happen.
"Okay, Thanks for letting me watch the shower." He said as he started to yawn.
"No problem, now go to bed and sleep, it's already very late." Telling Miguel.
When Miguel went inside I had a look at the scope as i thought he was juat watching nothing theres is no more meteors but just stars. He really does love looking at stars.
