Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening

The moment Izuku entered the world, he was anything but ordinary. Two medium-sized oni horns crowned his head, and he had a surprisingly sturdy physique for an infant. The doctor blinked in disbelief and announced to Inko, "Congratulations, Ms. Midoriya, it's a boy!" Inko's heart swelled with pride as she gazed at her little miracle. The doctor cautioned, "Your child may possess a mutation quirk; its potential remains unknown." Inko's spirit soared as she envisioned a brilliant future for her

**Timeskip - 4 years later**

Turning four was a thrilling milestone for me; it was my birthday and the day I would discover my quirk! I fervently hoped it would rival All Might's power. I pestered my mom, eager to visit a quirk doctor. "Izuku, we'll go after school, okay?" Inko replied softly. Disappointment flickered through me, but I nodded in agreement.

**Timeskip - 20 minutes later**

At daycare, I bolted from the car, clutching my mom's hand as we entered. The excitement surged as I spotted my best friend, Kacchan. I dashed over, bubbling with enthusiasm. "I'm about to find out my quirk!" I exclaimed. "Awesome! It better be powerful so we can become the greatest heroes!" Bakugo shouted back, his eyes alight with ambition.

Lunchtime arrived, and I couldn't help but order ten trays of food. In the past, my insatiable appetite had drawn glances of mockery, with others calling me a glutton. But today, as I devoured twenty trays, people stared in bewilderment, their expressions a mix of disgust and astonishment at my voraciousness. Food vanished quickly, and soon enough, I was left with an overflowing sense of contentment as I returned to class to work on my hero journals.

When the bell rang for outside playtime, I joined Bakugo and his two friends, reveling in our carefree moments. Our joy shifted abruptly when Bakugo tripped over a stubborn rock, and tears welled in his eyes. I rushed to check on him, but the moment I reached out, he swatted my hand away, frustration radiating from him. Anger surged within me, alongside a sense of confusion towards Kacchan. "Looking down? No one's belittling you! I just wanted to help!" I replied, my voice rising with intensity. I could feel a strange energy stirring inside me as I watched Bakugo tremble, confusion written all over his face: "What is happening?" But then, he stilled and took my hand. I pulled him up, declaring, "Heroes don't go it alone; they need support!"

After all the chaos, it hit me like a bolt of lightning—my quirk had finally awakened. Moments later, as my mom and I were cruising home, a hulking brute barreled towards us, threatening to turn our car into scrap metal! I lunged and pulled my mom out of harm's way just in the nick of time, narrowly escaping a crushing disaster.

As I turned to face the threat, I caught the villain's sinister smirk as he swaggered closer. With a swift motion, he unleashed a punch that I instinctively tried to block, but my feeble attempts were laughably futile. In that moment of horror, I noticed my hands—covered in an alien black metallic armor that radiated power. Shock coursed through me as I turned to see my mom, bloodied and unconscious, lying motionless.

Panic gripped me, and I fought desperately to wake her, but she remained unresponsive. The fiend facing me let out a maniacal laugh that churned my stomach and charged forward, igniting a storm of emotions within me—fear, sorrow, but most prominently, an overwhelming fury.

Then, the impossible happened—my body surged, horns spiraled from my head, and sharp green scales erupted across my skin. My teeth elongated, and in a sudden burst of instinct, I launched myself into the air. Below, the brute wreaked havoc, when he caught sight of a child and a woman fleeing in terror. With monstrous glee, he unleashed a devastating punch, leaving the woman bloodied and knocked out while the child surprisingly remained relatively unharmed.

As the villain approached, he spotted the kid's vacant expression and boomed with laughter, eager to seal his fate. But in that moment, the child transformed into a colossal 67-meter-long green eastern dragon! The atmosphere crackled with an ominous energy that sent shivers down the villain's spine.

Raging with determination, I surged towards the brute, seized him in my jaws, and ascended to the skies. As I charged a searing heat beam, the heavens themselves seemed to ignite with blinding light, as if the sun had decided to descend in fury. With a tremendous explosion, I released the beam, reducing the muscular menace to mere ashes. Afterward, I roared—an earth-shattering sound that echoed through the city of Musutafu!
