It was an endless plain of dark sky. There was neither thunder nor lightning that usually crackled in the dark sky. It was just an endless plain of dark sky, without dark clouds that usually hid the thunder and lightnings.
Yeah!
It was day. A good day to take a walk around the kingdom of darkness.
Remember that I had planned to take a walk and at least,think about the situation of my son.
Waking up from my short slumber, I noticed the sleeping body of my mate just beside me. As always, her beautiful skin was just as enchanting as ever. Her scent filling my nose in an instant.
Wouldn't it be better that I just have sex with her? Besides, it's been a week since I last had fun with my mate.
But seeing her enchanting figure resting peacefully on the bed, I decided not to disturb her moment of rest. Only watching her sleep was enough to fulfill my desires.
Though,her beauty was so tempting that it took all my will not to sleep with her. Anyways, I better prepare her breakfast, it's best I act like a gentleman, just the way humans do.
Placing a peck on her beautiful cheek, I climbed out of the bed. Putting on my boots, I took another look at my sleeping mate and chuckled.
She's mine and always be mine.
I walked up to the door and opened it also stepping out of the bedroom. Taking glances at my right and left, I decided to take the route that leads to the kitchen in the castle.
Not long after, I ended up in the large kitchen. The kitchen was an amazing sector of the devil's castle. Demon castle guards filled the length and width of the kitchen. There were demons that did their jobs in preparing food. Mostly female demons.
They did the job of what humans call, chef. That's if I'm not mistaken. I don't really know a lot about humans.
Entering the large kitchen,all the demon chefs and demon castle guards in the kitchen, bowed their heads respectfully.
With a wave of my hand, I signaled them all to get back to their work. They all obeyed and got back to their work.
I walked up to the head chef who usually organises the demons in the kitchen. She was a female demon. Actually, she was a soul demon. Quite robust and old. She must have been pretty when she was young.
Her name was Lorena.
Though with such a beautiful name, she was a ruthless soul demon. Her wickedness was one of a kind and she's actually the type that likes to intimidate other demons.
Getting to her, she hurriedly bowed in respect. Looking at her, I could see the scowl on her face.
"How do you do, Lorena?"
I asked in a cold voice making the ruthless Lorena bow her head and cower.
"Most certainly well, Lord".
She answered shakily.
I don't really blame her for being scared of me. I mean, I was once a monster which the whole kingdom of darkness feared.
Giving her a nod, I smirked.
"I will need breakfast for my mate and I, A-S-A-P. Deliver the breakfast to my room. Am I clear?"
With that I walked away, not even giving her the chance to answer.
As I walked out of the kitchen, the demon chefs that stood in my way immediately gave way as I passed. Some even cowering in fear.
I grinned inwardly seeing the fear on the faces of the demons in the kitchen. Making me want to devour every last of the fear.
I returned to the bedroom, hoping to see my mate awake and well. Just as I hoped she was awake.
Entering the bedroom, I walked up to her and jumped on the bed. She was sitting on the bed, holding her knees closer to her like she was a little girl, crying.
I stared at her face searching for any emotions on it. But she wore an expressionless look and she just stared at the wall.
"Had a nightmare".
She said making my gaze snap back at her.
Taking in what she just said, I smirked.
"Was it scary?"
I asked.
She nodded repeatedly. She put on a sorrowful look and I was able to read it.
"Tell me about it".
I demanded softly. Just with the nicest voice I could muster.
She sighed and then turned to look at me. Her sorrowful look was immediately replaced by a smile. Moving closer, she planted her lips on mine and I kissed her back.
As we kissed, my hand went down her black hair, caressing it softly. Her lips were the nicest thing I had felt on mine. They were soft,full and quite peculiar too.
We both broke from our long, intimate kiss. A smile still on her face.
"It's better you don't know about it. It's just a nightmare and it's best we get started for the day. Just forget about the nightmare".
She said in a comforting way and I nodded.
Just then, a knock sounded at the rose well designed door.
Both our gazes fell on the door and I smiled.
"Come in".
Lucy said.
The door handle turned and the head chef along with some two other demon chefs entered the room. They brought with them a rolling tray of food.
Not long after, the amazing smell of 'Amaganda Sucros' filled the air. My nose twitched at the smell of such heavenly food or should I say, devilish food.
The three demons served the food in plates and presented the food to both I and my mate.
Seems like we are going to be having breakfast in the bedroom.

Breakfast with my mate was fun. So much fun that I almost forgot what I had planned today.
As I had decided that I was going to take a short tour round the kingdom of darkness, I didn't waste time in doing so after breakfast. I left the devil's castle, planning in mind to visit a lot of places in my kingdom.
I was in the air, flying over the kingdom of darkness below and with the dark sky keeping me company.
From my position in the air, I could see a lot of demons going about their daily basis. In the demon realm, there were a lot of demons and these demons were demons of all kinds.
As I flew in the sky and the dark sky keeping me company,a great idea crossed my mind.
Such a great idea that I grinned as I flew over the demon realm.
After flying in the air for a while, I decided to visit an old brother of mine.
Yeah, this brother of mine was actually my brother.
He's the guardian of the realm of hell. And we all know who I'm talking about.
Lucifer.
Changing my direction and heading for the realm of hell, I couldn't help but feel nervous.
Lucifer was my brother. My twin brother actually. Our parents had died in a war against the heavens and because of that, both me and my brother had a grudge against the heavens.
As my twin brother,we usually do not talk often because I was always busy looking after the kingdom of darkness while he's always guarding the realm of hell. He has a strong hold in the realm of hell as his territory. Though, he's still under me as my subordinate.
Nevertheless, he usually do not have time to attend meetings with me and my other subordinates. He sees it as a waste of time and not to lie, I don't blame him.
He's my twin brother,so you can say he's just as handsome as I am.
He has a mate just like me and a very beautiful mate at that, but not as beautiful as the most beautiful woman that has ever existed. He's not usually jealous of me, always satisfied with his mate.
With a new course of direction, I headed for the realm of hell. Flying with an incredible speed, I headed for the realm of hell, anticipating to see my twin brother, Lucifer,who it has been long since I met him.
I got to the realm of hell in no time.
The realm of hell or should I say the lake of fire was rightly under the underground sea mountain.
In the Kingdom of darkness, there's a sea known as the black sea. It was laced with so many aquatic animal demons.
Under the sea was a mountain and under that mountain was the place called hell. The mountain was just a coverage over the realm of hell. This mountain did the job of making sure tormented souls do not escape hell.
Swooping down from the dark sky, I flew right into the black sea, allowing the water to engulf me.
Thankfully, I could breath under water. One of the benefits of being the devil.
I defied every law of water, flying deeper into the water and heading for the bottom of the sea. During my journey to the bottom of the sea, my eyes caught sight of a lot of aquatic animal demons. Like whale demons,shark demons,water snake demons and all that.
Not minding the presence of the aquatic animal demons, I flew deeper into the black sea.
I got to a huge sea mountain,not long after. It was quite huge and extra large than any other mountain that could usually be seen in the human world. It had a magestic aura that made it looked like, the mountain itself was a god. I floated right in front of it, the water waves making me feel good, somehow.
Taking my gaze down to the floor of the sea, there was an entrance into the depths of the mountain. The entrance was connected to a gate which was connected by a walkway bridge.
I flew down to the gate that was connected to the entrance of the mountain.
I landed on the floor of the sea and looked upon the gates of hell.
The gates of hell was made of lava and that, for sure was hot. I didn't mind the lava. I was the devil, so lava can't possibly hurt me.
Stretching out my hand, I touched the gate and the gate obediently opened revealing the walkway bridge. I stepped into the walkaway bridge and the gates of hell closed behind me immediately.
I didn't wait an second again, I headed for the entrance into the mountain, waiting to meet the guardian of hell, my brother, Lucifer.
I got to the entrance of the mountain and my eyes met two demons from the pit of hell. They were quite formidable demons and only their appearance would tell me that they were not to be played with.
They bowed respectfully and I gave them a nod.
{Oh I forgot. Once I had passed through the gate of hell, the water of the sea can't penetrate into the walkway bridge. Meaning, there's a burial that shields, the water of the sea from making its way into the walkway bridge. The burial covers the whole walkway bridge and the gate of hell. The burial also shields the whole mountain so that, the water of the sea can't have access to the mountain. It's just like the burial that shields Atlantis in the human world.}
One of the two demons from the pit of hell, knelt down before me and spoke.
"My Lord. Lord Lucifer had expected your arrival right from the time you entered the black sea".
I scoffed.
"Okay then. Lead me to him".
I said with my usual cold voice.
The two demons from the pit of hell lead me into the mountain while two other demon from the pit of hell replaced the two demons. Quite a smart move.
The two demons took me an inner chamber were it's floor was filled with lava. Like I said,lava can't hurt me, the devil.
It wasn't long till we came upon a two sided door that had the devil's mark on it. I grinned seeing my mark on the door.
The two demons used the devil's mark in opening the two sided door and stepped aside for me to enter.
"Lord Lucifer is just inside his lava chamber. Please, you can enter".
One of the two demons said and I did just that.
Entering the lava chamber, according to them, the door closed behind me. My eyes came upon a room that was just made of lava.
I mean, everything in the room was made of lava. There were two lava chairs,a king-sized lava bed, even the ground was covered in lava.
"Nice of you to visit, brother".
A familiar voice called out from behind and I smiled recognizing it.
A man stood behind me, just the replica of myself. Just that he had a yellow hair while I had black. Not to lie, he looked just like me.
And he was my brother, Lucifer.
