Chapter 3 - THE BEGINNING (II)

Well, my cheat ability is quite simple actually.

It is the legendary system that is often doing the heavy work of the protagonist in the fanfics I read in my previous life, it will do the same here as well.

Although it is ranked second on my wish list to R.O.B. right after the famous ring inhabited by an old master, who is the great heavenly golden dragon god emperor star ancestor of rank 8 ching-chong that will give him the legendary pill that is only mentioned in great ancient scripts in a famous sub-realm that is closed for the 90% of the time and is open just for that moment.

He is instantly recognized by the young master of the great clan ding-ding, where mc just went to meet the great jade-beauty after she helped him, and instead of simply taking it,

he will try to humiliate MC and kill his 7 generations but gets face-slapped and gets his jade beauty crush to be taken in front of him, but worry not as the great ancestor of the great ding-dong clan will try to avenge him as he trapped in that sub realm looking for a famous artifact but was never able to find it, only for mc to find it and wipe out his entire clan and him for looking at his jade beauty the wrong way...…..

…..yeah, but seriously, who does not want to be able to transform into a dragon? And be able to swallow stars, have a thousand jade-beauty harem, and be immortal.

However, I was not too disappointed, as at least I did not have that annoying breathing down-your-neck talkative AI type system or the slave type system. And the one I have in my opinion is quite an op one as well.

So far, the functions I have discovered were very simple. One is what I call a "player perspective."

Once activated, I would have GTA TYPE MAP appear in the corner of my eye. It only shows me the places I have visited and the remaining part is greyed out (which is still op, do you know how many shinobis forget where their purses fell after getting drunk).

And as long as I walked to a spot on the map with a glowing light, talked to someone, or touched an object, I could trigger a quest. Completing the quest would earn me rewards. The first reward I earned was system memory protection, so it is quite useful.

'System' I called in my mind

[ REWARDS :

SYSTEM MEMORY PROTECTION : Your memories related to the system are with the system Itself inside your soul core, separate from all the memories and linked to your mind with only a soul corridor. Nobody but experts in souls will be able to view your memories inside your soul.

Storage available : 2.5/5 petabytes.

MULTI-SHADOW CLONE JUTSU : The Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu (多重影分身の術, Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) is an advanced version of the Shadow Clone Jutsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu). The Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique that creates numerous tangible copies of the user. Unlike illusions (genjutsu), these clones are physical and capable of interacting with the environment. Each clone is an exact duplicate of the user, complete with their chakra system, abilities, and physical appearance. The amount of clones is directly proportional to users chakra and chakra control.

Current limit : 6

GENIN LEVEL CHAKRA: Gives user genin level chakra.

I got all the rewards except for the shadow clone from my quest rewards. Although most of the time it is giving me ryo.

In fact, the only reason I am able to use so many clones is because this body (or perhaps me) is a natural sensor and is extremely talented at chakra control.

Although it was taught to him(me) by his mother as he had barely enough chakra to be able to sense and use. Less than a civilian actually. But I cannot abuse the clones because of someone's balls and his forbidden lover (go! Danzo go! I ship it )

And thinking of someone and their forbidden love story,

did you know that memory protection protects both direct and indirect memories related to it.

So if anybody reads my mind or sees my memories. They will only be able to see and hear what I am thinking without the mention or usage of any system-related rewards or functions.

This means that to anyone else that is seeing or reading my mind, I am a natural airhead and most of the time I do not have any thoughts behind my eyes. This also indirectly protects my memories of my previous life. So that is a plus point of it if nothing else.

And it has an amazing hidden feature. That while it does not provide me with a photographic memory. It does however allow me to instinctually remember things that are stored in my soul memory. It is however not a quick-think-quick-remember type of memory possibly because i can only think of them subconsciously.

The second function was basically a gacha machine. Some quests would reward me with lucky coins, which could be used for a prize wheel.

Other than that, there were no attribute panels, exchange shops, or anything like that.

-x-

Returning to my room, I changed my clothes, put away the bowl, took the remaining money I had left from the draw, and went out. After a month of doing nothing at home, I have spent almost all the money I had saved, and I also wanted to eat something other than instant ramen.

'Maybe a barbecue? Yeah, that would be good' I thought.

If I didn't go out now, I might end up with the title of "the first transmigrator to starve to death."

After opening the system, a map appeared in my mind, and the scenery in front of me subtly changed.

Walking down the street, I casually picked a dim light spot and strolled over. Based on my previous experience, these dim white light spots usually indicated an errand quest. Although the rewards were small, the tasks were simple, and I could complete several in a day.

Konoha, as the largest shinobi village, was extremely prosperous. It was more like a city than a village. I was currently in the commercial district on the east side. The flower shop owned by the Yamanaka family was located here and if I walked along the commercial street and turned left, it would take about ten minutes to reach one of the residential areas for ordinary citizens, which would be my destination.

"A wallet?"

Suddenly, I stopped in my tracks because I had arrived at the area marked by the white light on the map. After picking up the wallet, a mission prompt appeared as expected:

[Ding ding! Mission triggered: Lost Wallet – Return the wallet to its owner.]

This mission was a bit troublesome. There was no hint about who the owner was. With so many people in Konoha, how am I supposed to find them? I wondered if there was any clue inside the wallet.

I opened it and found only a 500 ryo bill and a hairclip, which seemed to be the pocket money of some little girl. Besides this, there was no other clue. Although for some reason the hairclip seems quite familiar.

"Takumi, you finally came out."
