Elyndor who was listening to her wife's justification, couldn't help exclaim loudly in surprise.
"It's not confirmed yet, so do not tell this to Varadon when you meet him next time. But from the looks of it, I definitely think, she'll approach the Thaloreins for sure, not sure which daughter she is trying to engage with Zhavrik though". Elana looking at her shocked husband warned to keep the matter secret
" To think I would see a Thalorein and a dragon get into a relationship, the world sure is wonderful. When the dragon queen approachs the Thaloreins to talk about this matter, I definitely want to to be in the same room. Ha ha ha it would be such a drama to watch two long lasting enemies inside a same room, discussing about a marriage deal ".
" So this is why you said it might be angels not the dragons, I understand now. I apologise for my earlier tone my queen, please forgive me ".
Elyndor in a overly dramatic manner, kneeling in front of his wife apologized.
" Hmm, you are definitely sleeping on the couch today. How dare you rise your tone against me. Go and sleep with Varadon humpp ". In the same overly dramatic way Elana replied to Elyndor before walking towards her granddaughter's room.
Elyndor started running behind her pleading like a little kid to not let him sleep on the couch, earlier authoritive Elyndor was nowhere to be found.

The Thalorein dukedom is located at the eastern corner of the human empire. They share borders with the beast empire to their east, ocean to their west, neighborhood human dukedom to the north and 'land of the dead' on south. To cross into the elvian borders, he had to pass through a jungle which is located to his neighbouring dukedom.
Now that he was flying instead of traveling in his car, Varadon reached his mansion within couple of hours and went to see his son.
He enquired about the information that ' The Ravens ' collected.
" Father, ' The Ravens ' are still searching in the neighbouring Empires. The land is vast and they cannot enter some restricted areas. So it's taking some time ".
Zarvok handed his father all the reports he had received from the scouts teams and briefed him about the situation.
"Father what happened in the elvian empire?" . Seeing as his father did not come back with his son, he knew that Zhavrik was not within the elvian domain. But he still wanted to find out about what his father had found.
" Zarvok, i couldn't find anything related to Zhavrik in the elvian domain. Elyndor and Elana helped with the search within the restricted area as well, but they could not find any trace of him ".
" But son while departing from their mansion, Elana pointed about the possibility of Zhavrik being inside the ' land of the dead' . According to her it might have been those church freaks who could do this. It's not impossible for the Lyshaan's to figure out the portal location if they made use of their bloodline ".
" But I don't think it's them. Though after listening to Elana, I did feel it was a possibility, but while traveling back, I pondered about the chances but I don't think it's them. They cultists are busy dealing with their own problems. They are upto something that's for sure, but I don't think it's related to Zhavrik. I don't think they would go after Zhavrik. But still we can't rule out the possibility. For now send more spies into their domain, ask one of the elders to tag along. Also make a trip to dragons region. I don't think they have anything to do with this, but it would be better to be sure. Take Aelira as well. She needs you now more than ever. I will look after the land ".
He explained about his findings to his son and his conversation with Elana. Even though he was doubtful about the cults, he wanted to believe it's not them. During his time as the duke, he had met quite some High ranking people from the holy land. So he knew they wouldn't go after the Thaloreins, unless they really had no other option, because the repercussions they would face would be devastating.
As for why he instructed his son to go to the dragon empire was simple, he did not have a good relationship with the elders of that family. But since Zarvok had took over his position, he has been maintaining a great relationship with the royal family of dragons all thanks to his wife Aelira, who is friends with the royals of dragons. So he asked Zarvok to take Aelira as well, this will not only help her mentally now, but it will be good for her to spend some time with her husband as well.
" Okay father I will take Aelira and investigate inside the dragon empire. I think the old emperor will be pissed though. It's not like I care or anything, but he'll might come after us aggressively if both me and Aelira entered the dragon empire. You just returned from the elvian domain, I believe he'll start thinking that we are trying to expand our territory ".
" Not just the human empire, but other empires are also keeping close watch on us, especially after we sent so many of our knights and spies into their regions. Our lands are also filled with too many of their spies. I did not touch any of them yet. I don't want to cause trouble to our spies who are in their territory. I have already spread some false rumours, but i don't think we can hide about Zhavrik's situation for too long ".
Zarvok explained about the situation within the territory to his father, who will be managing the lands for some time.
" Don't worry about the emperor, I will handle him. As for the spies you did the correct thing. Let's not touch any of them, and I will come up with something to prevent anything about Zhavrik's situation to leak out ".
He assured his son before exiting the room thinking of a way to suppress the spies movement within their domain without harming them.
