Chereads / The Rise of Victoria Seras / Chapter 30 - 30. Short Walk

Chapter 30 - 30. Short Walk

Chapter 30

- Would you like to go to another world?

S listened to my question and, with an expressionless face, took a sip of blood from her cup.

- Agree?

- Agree with what? - the ancient girl asked indifferently.

- Well, with what I suggested.

"I'm not going to answer that. The idea is ridiculous," Helena replied, with a hint of irritation.

"Okay, then how about I show you some evidence?" I asked, leaning closer to the vampire.

"How do you prove that?" Helena asked, curiosity beginning to show on her face.

- I'll take you to another world, show you around, and then we'll come back. Will that suit you?

- Considering my age, I shouldn't believe in such nonsense. But something inside me tells me not to miss this opportunity. Don't disappoint me.

"Great, hold on tight, this is my first time taking someone with me," I said happily before grabbing Helena's hand.

- What! - the girl screamed in surprise, but suddenly she saw a short white flash, and a moment later we found ourselves in another universe.

Helena's eyes were met with one of the most ridiculous things she had ever seen in her centuries of existence. Below us was a city that combined all the features of both Japanese and Western architecture, surrounded by trees and, just as importantly, an energy in the air that she was unfamiliar with.

Helena closed her eyes and turned to her senses, noticing a number of people who were noticeably different from those she knew. She remained in this position for several minutes before finally turning to me with a confused expression.

- You're wondering where we are and what this energy is, right?

Seeing a slow nod, I spoke again.

- Well then, pay attention and admire. We are currently in a universe known as the Naruto Universe. We are on a planet that is similar to Earth in that it has life. The energy you feel here is what is known in this universe as chakra. People here use this energy to fight each other. Some of the most common ways to use it is to control different elements, such as fire or water.

- What? Why are they fighting each other? Couldn't they think of a more useful use for such powers? - Helena asked, confused.

- Are you really several centuries old? - I looked at this legal Loli with doubt.

- What do you mean by that? - Helena frowned.

- This is the fate of almost all intelligent races, they always want more, and from this desire comes the struggle for power and the like. Well, I don't understand this topic that well, but I can say for sure that most intelligent races are prone to wars. - As soon as I finished speaking, we were surrounded by a group of people dressed in black with white animal masks on their faces.

"Who are they?" Helena asked curiously.

- Well, it's like a special military unit. They are usually called the elite, but in fact they are far from the truly strong people in their settlement. Oh yeah, warriors here are usually called ninjas and naturally they all use chakra. - I explained, completely ignoring the Anbu who interrogated us in Japanese.

- Do they speak Japanese?

- Yes, if I'm not mistaken there is no other language here.

- Why?

- Well, let me explain it when we get back. It looks like they're ready to attack.

- Okay, but don't think that I'll forget.

As soon as we finished talking, the ANBU ran out of patience and started attacking us. There were ten of them in total, surrounding us, eight of them focused on me, and the other two headed towards Helena.

Two of them used Earth Jutsu to enclose me in a box of sorts, leaving a small gap, into which the other two immediately began to launch Fire Jutsu, while the remaining four simply stood guard around me.

"Well, that's not a very pleasant greeting, although we ignored them, in their place I would have been angry too." I thought while teleporting behind the backs of the two earth users.

Grabbing them both by the neck, I immediately squeezed my hands and literally decapitated two ninjas and put them in my inventory. At that moment, two of them, who clearly specialized in Taijutsu, rushed at me, deciding to ignore them, I blinked to the four who were about to join the battle.

I plunged my hand into the first one's stomach and with one movement, plunging it in up to the elbow, tore out the heart, putting the body of my dead victim into my inventory. Then I had to duck to avoid the tanto they wanted to decapitate me with. Quickly turning around, I crushed the attacker's throat with a kick. Seeing that he was dead, I was going to take him, like the last one, into my inventory, but a fireball flew at my back, knocking me off my feet.

I was once again surrounded and seeing that I was under attack the ANBU sighed in relief, however that sigh got stuck in their throats halfway when they saw my regeneration. Meanwhile I started to slowly rise muttering to myself.

- You know. I loved watching others get hit in the face with that jutsu, but when it was me. I have to admit, that jutsu is pretty damn cool! - I shouted happily at the end, then looked at the ninja with a crazy grin.

They immediately jumped back in fear, preparing for the second round, before being stopped by an authoritative voice. Hearing the young Third Hokage's order, they disappeared, showing only a slight blur. I wonder why they couldn't use such speed in battle?

"I can't speak Japanese, but I bet he told them to leave," I thought, turning to check on Helena. She was leaning against a tree, watching with a cold face, the bodies of the attackers lying next to her.

- They were interesting. It's a very interesting world Seras. - Helena showed her smile for the first time and even her eyes seemed to have lost that inexpressible boredom.

- I'm glad you had fun, Helena. Do you mind if I take a few sips of these?

- Of course, but why do you need this?

"So I can talk to that cute guy," I pointed at Hiruzen, who was trying to say something.

- What does this have to do with blood?

- What?

- I asked...

- No, I remember, but can't you get the abilities and memories of the one whose blood you drank? - I asked in confusion.

- Huh? Of course not, I've never heard of anything like that.

- Seriously?

"Damn, I was sure that all the vampires in Helsing could do that! It's a good thing I bothered to become Seras and not a regular vampire."

"Please, let me try something." I said before taking the recently torn out heart from my inventory and immediately biting into it with my fangs. After only a couple of sips, I already felt real ecstasy from its taste, and a few seconds later, my head was filled with the knowledge of the murdered man.

Now I could finally understand the words of the third Hokage.

"Why are you ignoring me? Am I really that invisible?" Hiruzen asked, crying internally. He had literally just gotten his position and this was hitting his self-esteem pretty hard.

- Ah… no, it's not that. I'm sorry, but my friend and I couldn't understand your language. Please accept my apologies. – I replied in perfect Japanese.

This surprised both Helena and Hiruzen, and in the meantime I felt new energy begin to flow through my body, and I am sure that it must be chakra. Immediately making several signs with my hands, alerting the man in front of me, I created a stone wall near me.

"So that's what jutsu to use?" I thought with a beautiful smile on my face.

- Miss? Miss?!

- Hm? Oh, sorry. I was lost in my thoughts.

- Great. Now can you finally tell me who you are and why you killed my ninjas?

"How about we forget about it?" I asked hesitantly.

- Of course not! Now answer me! - Hiruzen shouted angrily, preparing for battle.

- Uh... I... you know... - I tried to come up with a more justifiable excuse on the fly, after all, unlike the previous ninjas, the Hokage would smear me across the wall and not notice.

Seeing that the Third Hokage had summoned the Monkey King and was about to attack to extract answers by force, she quickly spoke.

- Look, I'm sorry I killed your people, but I had no choice. I hope you'll forgive me when I get back. - Without listening to my words, Hiruzen appeared behind me in an instant, clearly intending to grab me, but his hands only caught air, and in the meantime I found myself next to Helena and grabbed her hand and teleported us home, leaving behind a stunned Hiruzen.
