A middle-age man in his forties said. He is a slender man with a pointed chin and piercing green eyes. He has a small scar on his cheek and a tattoo of a snake coiled around a dagger on his neck, marking him as a thief from a infamous pantheon. He is wearing a black cloak and a sly smile is adorned on his face.
He is smiling widely, on a girl tied on a cross. The girl is around 12 to 13 years old. She has cute face with black eyes and night like hair, with pale white skin. The clothes, she is wearing is a gothic black dress with violet border. It seems torn from the side showing her previous struggle to escape this place. But, on contrary to her condition the girl looked extremely calm, not even shrinking from the blades drawn by these men who kidnapped her.
" This girl would surely become a good merchandise, in the future. You have great eyes Boss Krovus." A women in her twenties said to the previous middle-aged man, named Krovus.
" Of course Merendy! Your boss is Amazing, he could sense merchandise from a long distance, Aren't I Amazing? Lehaha!! "
" Yes! Boss is surely Amazing. Those old gods would surely pay a lot for this in the future. On top of being good looking, this girl is a new ascended God of Darkness." Random Men in the group said.
" I am still surprised by this fact, you know! I mean we have loo...*cough* fought many Newbie Ascended Gods before, and they weren't this weak. Heck, from her behaviour, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't knew she has these powers. But the question is how she ascended to Godverse then? Is ascending to Godhood has become this easy now, that a mere child who doesn't even knows the world properly, achieved it?" Another men, wearing a lab coat with glasses muttered.
" Enough of that talk, about how she ascended here. It is good if she has that much potential then, if everything went well, even Lord himself would pay a great price for her. After all, she is a God of Darkness, and we are TENEBRARI!!. And, what would be a fitting place for a God of Darkness, if not our Pantheon? Lehahaha" Krovus laughed boisterously at this, like he said something truly magnificent.
" As if, he would let you take me." For the first time since she was kidnapped, the girl said something. Although, it was spoken lightly everyone could hear it clearly.
" Oh! Are you talking about that little boy, whom you always roam around with? From his looks, I wouldn't be surprised if he is a God of Beauty or something along that line. And, about what you said right now that if he would let us. Brat, do you know this is Godverse and here only strength speaks. If you are strong, everything is under your palm, but if you are weak...hehehe." The woman, named Merendy spoke.
" But are you sure, you are the strong one, here?" A voice sounded from somewhere, at these words. Then the sound of someone's footsteps were heard throughout the building they were in.

Unconsciously all the thieves, started searching frantically for the source. When they turned back, they saw smoke rising from out of nowhere. Whatever someone says, it sure gives a creepy vibes, even if they are gods. All the members of the group, went towards the smoke, as no one alone was ready to go. They didn't even notice a small silhouette appeared behind them when they all turned back.
" Boss! Don't Go!! There must be a g-ghost. What if he thought you a tasty delight? We would end up without a leader." A man with a dumb face, exclaimed.
*Bang*
" You fool! Suppose If there is really a ghost, why wouldn't it think you are a tasty delight, Why me?" Krovus said, while giving his subordinate a much needed dose.
" Huh? Isn't it obvious, because you are special, afterall you are our Boss?" He said while looking at his Boss, with a look as if saying 'Isn't it obvious?'
" You...*Sigh*... Let's Go" Krovus was exasperated from his subordinates. What sins he did in Mortal World, to result these type of subordinates. Ah! He remembered, he killed almost 50% population on a planet to fulfill the ritual of ascension to godhood.
After taking some steps, they came across a large pillar, from which the the sound increased in intensity. They all gulped, and after steeling their resolve they went ahead where they saw.... two items, a small doll of a joker with a red nose and a smoke producing can. The sounds were coming from doll and smoke from can. They all were dumbfounded said to be least.
" Hahaha Boss! We were being afraid of a doll." The man with dumb face laughed while wiping tears from the corner of his eyes.
" You dumbass! You shouldn't laugh on yourself." The women named, Merendy kicked him on his back. Her face was red from embarassment which this fool, increased more.
" Boss, the girl disappeared in thin air! I told you it was a ghost. The ghost took delight on neither me nor you, but on our prisoner." The man with dumb face exclaimed, when he returned to the place after seeing the doll, resulting everyone to return back.
They all then, moved back to the place near the cross, where their mouths opened wide. The girl which was tied there could be seen nowhere.
The leader, Krovus face darkened at the realisation that both that prank and this are connected and how well they were played. Due to his anger, he punched a nearby pillar and resulting it crumble in a second. This was the physical strength a 10000+ year old God possess.
" Dammit!" *Boom* He punched another pillar, due to his anger " We were played by a Kid. How disappointing, it is that The Great Team Krovus of Tenebrari Pantheon, couldn't even Kidnap and keep safe a little girl. Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!!! I won't accept this. All of you go and search for the kid. And, also don't forget to bring the one who stole her under our nose." He shouted at his lungs.
" You don't need to, you know." At that time, as he ordered the sound of footsteps coming from the doll stopped and instead a voice resounded. This time the voice sounded a little amateur
" I mean, if you think practically, you stole something from me and I stole it *cough*... took it back. Isn't it what, we call.... a fair deal?" At these words, all of them felt humiliated
"As for me stepping on your pride, by vanquishing something under your nose, well about that, if truth be told.... you all are pretty dumb that's why my plan even succeeded. I mean, who goes for unknown with a full group? Weren't you criminals, since when this sense of comradrie even came? So, please don't take it on heart. It isn't my fault that you are dumb." Now, their face is all red, this humiliation was just too much for them.
"And, also you don't have to do hardwork of finding me as I myself, will find you soon enough. You know, I am truly a petty person and I don't like when someone takes something I consider mine without my permission. That girl considers me as her family and it won't be nice of me, if I don't take a revenge for my family, don't you think so? So, be ready for the day of judgment, O Greater God of Assasination, Krovus of Tenebrari. And, when I come for you, I won't forget to deal with that little group of yours too. And, please don't thing I am a fool who doesn't know the difference between heaven and earth. And, if you are thinking that then I can assure you that I know what I am saying and I am quite well versed with the world. You should know from your long existence to not let appearance fool you. So, Mata Ne(See you later)." With that the doll exploded along with the can, leaving the group dumbfounded. They, never in their whole long existence, thought someone would be brave enough to challenge Tenebrari and here now, a kid not more than thirteen(They observed that girl for a week. So, they could guess that from his looks) threatened them and with such conviction that it almost sounded certain.
" Boss, we should hunt these kids down, those were some pretty big words." The women named Merendy said angrily.
" Yes, Boss! We can't let someone threaten us." Another one said.
" Yes Boss! I mean we all are so smart and he said we are a group of dumbs." The man with dumb face said, making all of them face towards him. " What?" He didn't feel good, when they all turned towards him, he doesn't know why they did so, but he didn't like it.
"" Nothing"" They all said in unison, while shaking their head. And, turned towards their boss for the decision. But, when they saw his face, they all took a step back. He was smiling. He was smiling creepily to be more exact. They don't know, what their boss is thinking, but it must be evil.
" Lehahaha! Finally someone has guts to threaten Tenebrari. Lehahaha! Intresting! Very Interesting! Good Kid, you have my attention. I will be waiting for you then. The peace of Godverse, is going to end soon. Lehahaha" He said with a wide smile. Then his face returned normal and he turned towards his subordinates "Leave the kids alone and let's head for the pantheon. Its been a while, since we left that place. Let's check and see what those old dudes are doing." All the opposition, died down on these words. Afterall, they couldn't reject their boss decision.
Meanwhile, the person who caused this uproar....
