Aria couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Her mother's strange behavior and ominous warning had left her with more questions than answers.
As she walked back to her room, she noticed a piece of paper on the floor. She picked it up, expecting it to be some kind of trash, but instead, she found a mysterious letter addressed to her.
The letter was written in elegant, cursive script, and it read:
"Dear Aria,
I know you're curious about your family's past. I know you're wondering why your mother is so secretive.
The truth is, Aria, you come from a long line of powerful witches. Your ancestors were known for their magic and their bravery.
But there's something more. Something that could change everything.
Meet me in the old windmill on the outskirts of town at midnight if you want to know the truth.
