"Roar!"

Charizard let out a thunderous roar as it charged forward with unwavering determination. Even Kadabra's Psychic attack couldn't halt its relentless advance.

Just as Charizard was about to strike, Kadabra used Teleport to disappear in a flash of light.

"This is what we've been waiting for!" Tyson commanded with precision. "Charizard, Flamethrower!"

The instant Kadabra vanished, Charizard unleashed a powerful Flamethrower, which spread out like a fiery rain, engulfing the battlefield.

When Kadabra reappeared, it was forced to use Psychic to deflect the flames.

"Charizard, Flame Charge into Flamethrower!"

Charizard's speed increased further as it executed its third Flame Charge, the flames surrounding its body intensifying. With renewed energy, Charizard launched another Flamethrower, this time as a concentrated pillar of fire aimed directly at Kadabra.

Rather than teleporting away, Kadabra used Psychic again, dissipating the oncoming flames with its immense power. But Charizard was ready.

"Dragon Rush!" Tyson shouted.

Charizard surged forward, its body surrounded by draconic energy. The roar of a dragon echoed across the battlefield, and Charizard's eyes burned with fierce determination.

Forced to react, Kadabra teleported once more to evade the attack.

Charizard, anticipating this, halted its charge mid-air and unleashed another Flamethrower. Fire scattered across the arena like rain, lying in wait for Kadabra's reappearance.

Tyson's strategy was relentless. He knew that Dragon Rush consumed a significant amount of Charizard's stamina, so he was determined to end the battle quickly.

When Kadabra reappeared, it used Psychic to deflect the flames again, but Charizard's speed continued to climb. It closed the gap in a blur, releasing another Flamethrower that transformed into a fiery net, surrounding Kadabra.

By now, Charizard's speed and power had reached an astonishing level. Even with Sabrina's Telepathy guiding Kadabra, the Psychic Pokémon struggled to keep up.

Sabrina's underestimation of Tyson became evident as her usually composed demeanor showed a flicker of surprise. Nevertheless, she directed Kadabra to engage Charizard head-on.

This was exactly what Tyson had been waiting for.

"Charizard, full power! Dragon Rush!"

Charizard, now fueled by its Blaze ability, became shrouded in invisible flames, its body radiating overwhelming heat. It launched itself at Kadabra with unparalleled speed and force.

But just as Tyson prepared to finish the match, Sabrina unexpectedly returned Kadabra to its Poké Ball.

Startled, Charizard halted mid-attack, its pent-up energy unable to find an outlet. Frustrated, it let out an enraged roar, flames erupting from its maw.

"You've proven yourself worthy," Sabrina's calm voice echoed telepathically. "The spot Shadow reserved for you is now yours. Whether you succeed or fail depends entirely on you."

Before Tyson could process her words, an immense psychic force enveloped him.

Sensing danger, Charizard attempted to protect its trainer, but Sabrina's overpowering psychic energy subdued it instantly. The rest of Tyson's team, still within their Poké Balls, couldn't resist her abilities either.

Sabrina's psychic prowess was on full display, leaving no doubt of her strength.

Tyson felt his vision blur, and when it cleared, he found himself in a strange silver-white space. In front of him stretched an endless staircase, ascending into infinity.

A mysterious voice echoed in his mind. "Climb to the top, and you will leave this place. Fail, and you will perish."

Instinctively, Tyson Believed the voice and began to ascend.

At first, he climbed with ease, his determination unwavering. But as time passed, monotony and exhaustion set in. The stairs seemed infinite, and frustration began to creep into his mind.

He paused to catch his breath, reflecting on his journey. His past struggles flashed before him: the mediocrity of his previous life, the hardships after his transmigration, and the moment he awakened his system.

Compared to his former self, Tyson now had clarity and purpose. He had forged unbreakable bonds with Charizard and his other Pokémon, and his goal of becoming the strongest trainer in the world burned brightly in his heart.

Renewed by his resolve, Tyson pressed on. With each step, his determination grew, and the end of the staircase finally came into view.

When he reached the top, the silver-white space began to collapse. Tyson stood calmly, his resolve unshaken.

In the blink of an eye, he was back in the Saffron Gym. Sabrina stood before him, her expression betraying a rare hint of surprise.

"This is for you," she said, handing him a backpack. "And consider the awakening of your latent psychic abilities a gift from Shadow."

With a wave of her hand, Tyson and Charizard found themselves outside the gym.

Still processing what had just occurred, Tyson placed Charizard back into its Poké Ball and made his way to the Pokémon Center to heal his partner.

Later, back at his hotel, Tyson instructed his Kadabra to stand guard as he opened the backpack Sabrina had given him. Inside, he found a golden badge, symbolizing his victory, along with a collection of rare books.
