Flash back
The village was far away in a secluded area surrounded by a thick forest with a stream leading to their village, most of the houses were poorly constructed with the houses scattered around without a pattern. Several balls of fire were leading to the village.
"What is this". A man said as he was looking up at the sky. People from all over the village were coming out to see what was going on.
A blond woman, about six months pregnant, slightly chubby holding a six year old child with darker blond hair than her started backing away from the gathering and shouted. "Run those are demons, run!!
As the flames became stronger, they saw figure like people engulfed in the flame. Everyone started running away from the village. As some batches of people were already reaching the entrance of the village trying to leave one flame suddenly stopped in midair and landed right in front of the village. It had raven black hair with red pupils, veiny eyes, with pale skin and fangs popping out of its mouth, tall and covered with ink black armor.
"Where do you think you're going". It said with a smirk its face.
"Everyone runaway". One of the villagers shouted. As they were running away the beast did not even make a move to follow them, just allowed them to continue running. As they were running more demons started landing on their village and killing people. After more than thirty minutes of running they approached the other exit. They heard a very screeching laugh. "You really think you can go anywhere, why run when you can meet them at the other side".
The blond woman came out and spoke. "Please, my husband died in the war six months ago and I am a single mother and pregnant, please kill me but don't kill my son".
Aaron began crying and spoke. "Mama, no please don't leave me, I will die with you".
"Aza no". An old lady beside them said. Aza dropped her son and spoke. "Kill me". The demon looked shocked and spoke. "You have really brought a new light to humans, so as you wish". The demon came closer and tried to block the demon from touching the mother. "Please don't kill my mama"
The demon laughed and spoke. "If it was on normal circumstances I would have left her, but I am taking revenge for the death of my people by your people". He said and grabbed her neck and decapitated her.
"Little boy I will spare you". The demon said. He started crying and spoke. "Please, kill me".
The demon just kept and continued its mass killing, when the human heroes came and killed off most of the demon vampires from the village.
The boy walked up to his mother's corpse and spoke. "Mama please wake up". When people realized that all the demons were gone, they began coming out.
The dead bodies were put to rest and the orphan children in the village spread out to meet their relatives.
Aaron's aunt came close and hugged him. "It's okay love, may her soul rest in peace". Aaron cleaned his tears and spoke. "Thank you, aunt". The aunt smiled and spoke. "You are always welcome to our home".
"Thank you".

They arrived at her home. Her home was like every house in the village, with a living room, dining area, and a two bedroom.
"Welcome to your new home". The aunt said and took him to a room and spoke. "I only have one son as you know, so you two can share rooms". Aaron entered the room and saw his cousin reading a book. His cousin turned to him and spoke. "Welcome to our home, I heard what happened to your mother, so iconic". Aaron dropped his bag and spoke. "It is only iconic because it is not you it happened".
"Calm down, respect your elders". The boy said.
"What is your name". Aaron said.
"My name is Zacharia, but they call me Zach".
"Zach, your whole family is alive, and I hope it remains that way, because I don't want you to pass through what I passed through". Aaron said, sat down and began crying. Zach walked up to him and spoke. "Everything is going to be all right".
"I hope so". Aaron said.
"I know so". Zach said.
