"Please come in Fidel," I ask my butler to come in. I know his name due to my World Knowledge skill. This skill is like that person in the theatre whispering you your lines if you forgot them. When the door opens a slightly aged man steps in.
He has long silver hair bound together in a low ponytail and a slender face. He wears the uniform of our house so a black suit embodied on his chest is the coat of arms of the Blacks. The coat of arms consists of a black Rose. An on it's big right sided petal is a wolfs head and below it on the same petal a skull with a sickle behind it, all those symbols are silver. The colours of the house. is the association that immediately comes to my mind.
My focus returns to observing the person that supposedly is my butler based on the information my skill whispers me. After my parents of this world died, he raised me together with my aunt. He taught me everything I know together with her. Another association, another thing I cannot know for sure. And if it is like this wouldn't I be acting strange? How did the former owner of this body act?
"Good morning my Lady I hope you have slept well since we arrived quite late in the capital.", Fidel greets me. So we arrived here only yesterday, good to know. I smile a little bit in his direction trying to pretend my heart isn't racing in the hopes I am not acting too strange.
"I slept quite well even though everything is new. I liked the old Black Castle but it's time now isn't it?! I hope the staff settled well. What is on my schedule for today ?", I asked him then turning my head to look directly at him. It is as if I am talking on autopilot. Black castle snippets of memories are shown to me. Alone from that it seems like a very beautiful place.
"Yes, everyone settled well in their new or old quarters. My Lady, for today you will start your first day at the Pentastar High School; afterwards, you will have to go over the documents of the estate," he informs me. I nod to show that I have understood him. Still pretending I am who I am supposed to be and not some imposter.
Then I push back the blanket and climb out of my queen size bed. It is one of those you would only see in the old stories in my old world. Right now I'm only dressed in my nightgown but Fidel already put out the uniform of the Pentastar High. After a short trip into the bathroom to refresh myself I put my clothes on. The uniform is mostly Black. Some parts like the tie and the pattern of the skirt are in a deep blue, a velvet red and a silver border. On the chest is a silver Pentagramm, you know that star with five points. Don't confuse it with the devils Pentagramm and the Celtic one they have circles around them while the devils pentagram is upside down.
"Fidel, can you help me with my hair?", I asked loudly since he waited in my room. I hear him chuckle and then the door opens and closes again. "So how would you like to tame your lion mane today my lady?", he asked me. I grin and look at him in the mirror. "Like always you will know best what will fit my outfit the most," I tell him he grins and I let him work his wonders on my hair. Another conversation I did on auto pilot. It is as if the system were to make sure I don't mess up. It feels like a reflex to reply this way. Is it the world skill messing with my head?

In a few moments he is finished. The questions stays in my heady although I try to put it aside. He is truly a miracle worker when it comes to the wild lion mane I now call my hair. Once done we go down to the dining hall. There I request for a small breakfast and my coffee. While I eat I read the newspaper and look at the quest log. "Main quest completed! The quest will be updated soon. You gained 5 SP", the new notice reads. I decided to wait a while before I assign the stat points. Might be useful later.
The only thing I noticed in the newspaper is the article about a murderer going around in the school: "…There are already three students that were found dead. Every single one was killed on their way home from the Pentastar High School. The Royal Knight Order found out that every victim was a commoner. Now the main question is who has something against those students going to Pentastar High. Soon someone will be sent to investigate the cases thoroughly…"
I stop reading at that point, being the in the Newspaper mentioned investigator I will need a fresh view of the situation. So I can catch the true culprit. Another thought that doesn't feel like my own. Another thought that feels more like a thing whispered by my skill.
I sigh and look up. Alessia, my guardian, aunt and knight steps into the room. She is the one that raised me together with Fidel. She was the sister of my father. She doesn't resemble a Black not when you decide only based it on her appearance. Her hair is a fiery red and her eyes are deep obsidian. But her character resembles one of a true Black. The Blacks usually like their name suggests have black hair and deep black obsidian eyes. Again information I shouldn't be able to know.
When I look at her I can only see her graceful way to walk like a lioness. It's this grace they have when on hunt ready to circle their prey and hunt them down. Her beauty and strength are two things I admired since I was nothing more than a babe. I finish my meal. Before standing up "I greet you on this fair morning Dame Alessia" I tell her but then I hug her and grin. A mischievous twinkle in my eyes. "We should go to the limousine I believe?", I ask the most rhetorical question of the day. My aunt nods.

Fidel hands me my bag then he bows and tells me to be careful. I assure him that I will be exactly that and follow Alessia to the waiting limousine. The driver is Kalum Edmon Bullstade. He is a middle-aged man. His hair starts to grey but his face still looks youthful. He was trained and raised by the Blacks since he was little. I would trust him with my life just because of this little fact. I try to ignore the constant influx of information my skill provides me. It is useful but also irritating.
He drives us to the school. The way takes us around 10 minutes. Normally, we should need around 20. We weren't driving that fast, okay maybe a bit. This world doesn't really have speed regulations and all such fancy things. They may have cars and some highly technical things but they are partially still in the middle ages compared to my prior world. It seems to be because of some war. My skill doesn't seem high enough to understand more right now. On our way I observe the landscape we drive by.
I also study my new appearance mirrored in the window glass. My hair is now ebony and curly. It reminds me of a lion mane. The shape of my face reminds me of how I imagined Regulus Blacks to be in my past life. Just a bit more feminine but still about the same. The rest of my appearance from what I have seen this morning is also beautiful at least in my eyes. But I am not sure if the beauty standards of this world and my last are the same or different. Since I will be attending school soon, I am about to find out. What better place than to learn about a world than in a school.

When we arrive at the school a knot of people gathers at the main gate. Which is the place Kalum needs to drop us off. Aunty steps out of the car first. Like the knight she is she holds the people back ,so I can step out. It reminds me of those scenes I have seen on TV before when one of the stars got almost swarmed by fans. And then the security backed them off so they could step onto the red carpet. I notice that their curious looks. Probably because I am the new one. Could be because of the limousine. I send Kalum on his way. It's time to pick up my schedule so I can start my school day.
Pentastar High has a big main building and a few secondary smaller buildings for things like club activities or a dormitory for the students. If I had to describe the architecture of the school I would have to say it reminds me of a palace, one full of elegance and grace. The buildings are tall and have little floral details on the facade. It not only reminds me of Versailles but also of buildings like the temple of Artemis or the Colosseum. The buildings have an old character but in a beautiful, fresh way.
I can imagine what kind of glare my aunt wears right now. Only so I am not swarmed by the students. I'm glad they're not, otherwise, I would end up as a puddle of blood. Staining the beautifully crafted tiles that pave the way. The students disperse under the glare of my aunt. Now free to go my way I walk towards the building.
"Dame Alessia, can you tell me some things about the school? Since you were a student here," I ask my aunt. "There isn't much to tell about. As far as I can see right now the school is still the same as it was 20 years ago," she answers. I nod in acceptance since it seems like she won't tell me more for now. At least not as long as we are still in public.
"Side Quest completed. Side Quest will update soon, intelligence stat rose two points," a notice pops up. I decided to open my stats later to look at them and maybe to distribute the five stat points I gained from the Main Quest.
We enter the building and Alessia guides me towards the headmaster's office. Standing before the office door I become nervous. Honestly I am usually not a person to get nervous. But right now standing for this office door not knowing what might happen now makes me very nervous. But I am a Duchess now so I can't let this stop me. It would be ridiculous if it did. I knock on the door and enter the office. "Good Morning, Headmaster Solius," I greeted the headmaster with a slight bow.
Headmaster Solius returns my greeting and greets my aunt before he tells me the basics I need to know for the lessons. After the basics are out of the way I ask him an important question: "Headmaster, what information do you have about the ongoing murder case?"
