Engjell descended her ship with poise, dismissing her attendants to go have fun. The servants obeyed her reluctantly, already knowing the futility of their efforts if they tried to convince her otherwise. Don't get fooled by her constant smile and gentle demeanor, she was very stubborn, contrary to her appearance. They bowed to her, then went back to the ship, ignoring her orders to go have fun. They needed to stay close incase she needed them.
Engjell speechlessly watched the stubborn guards and maids ascend the vehicle, she watched them with raised brows, before she could say another word, she was attacked from behind, she staggered forward as she struggled to keep her balance. Her hand went to her watch, ready to activate the defense mode at any sign of danger, her attendants rushed forward to get off the ship and to her. Engjell finally raised her head to get a glimpse of her attacker, her hand remained the poised on the watch.
"Pfft hahahaha..." came the raucous laughter, Engjell's brows lifted in chagrin as she identified her attacker to be Aeliana. "gosyouShuhavcnyourface." (gods you should have seen your face) came the broken words between the laughter, short of rolling on the floor, Aeliana kept on laughing, oblivious to the strange looks she garnered from passerby's. That's one of the reasons she liked Aeliana, innocent and playful, words rare to the Austrean and Aurean society.
Engjell made an eye at her, a signal to remind her of the current environment. "Oh." finally getting the signal, Aeliana's unrestrained laughter came to a halt, she composed herself in record speed, making the earlier scene, seem no more than a mirage. "Sorry." she whispered silently to Engjell in embarrassment.
Engjell gave her a reassuring smile then turned back to face her attendants who had leaped to her rescue. "You can now go."
"My lady, I think it'd be best if we accompanied you." the head guard Luca daringly spoke up, although the earlier scene was a false alarm, it alerted them to the possibility of dangers their young lady might face.
Engjell discreetly glared at the sheepish Aeliana accessingly. "I appreciate your concern and all, but I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself." she said with a lift of her wrist. Showcasing her uni watch. "Don't forget that I have extra protection." Her words were unclear to the clueless Aeliana, but her attendants who were in the know, understood what she alluded to.
"Pardon us for the offense my lady." They swiftly bowed to their young lady.
"You are pardoned. But there won't be a next time." She spoke with an indifferent tone. The attendants shivered in fear at the sudden cold wind that just blew past. Their miss can really be scary when she wanted to.
"Thank you my lady." they bowed once more, then retreated to their posts.
She gave a curt nod then turned to face the unruly Aeliana. "Uhuh." Aeliana bowed her head in shame, mumbling something inaudible. "You really are something, come let's go meet the rest." Engjell brought her out of her embarrassed mood, wrapping her arm around hers. "So where to." she looked at the huge Digital Mall, her head spinning just at the thought of exploring them all.
Already recovered from the earlier blunder, Aeliana raised her brow in amusement, "are you telling me you don't know where they are."
"Yes? Why are you looking at me like that."Engjell shivered at the disgustingly bright smile directed at her.
"What would you ever do without me." came the arrogant reply.
Engjell snorted in mock disgust, "lead the way oh great pathfinder." she bowed for good measure, eliciting a burst of laughter from Aeliana. Who, learning from the earlier misdemeanor suppressed her laughter into a soft giggle, hiding her teeth behind a handkerchief.
Aeliana gave her a wink, then matched through the automatic doors that opened widely in welcome to her. Two unrealisticly beautiful robot attendants came forward, "My Lady." they gave a curtsy directed at Engjell, "Young miss." they turned to Aeliana addressing her. Her father was a Baron, like the rest of her friends, with the exception of Candida, whose parents were just your everyday, average green blooded Aurean.
"We'll be your assistants for today. My name is Uriel, her name is Sky." the red headed robot introduced politely.
"Thank you Uriel and Sky, your services are highly appreciated. Please help us locate a miss Atarah and Candida." Engjell instructed efficiently.
Their eyes glazed over for a split second, then they quickly recovered. "One young miss Atarah and commoner Candida has been located in the lounge. Should we lead the way?"
"Yes please." they began walking towards the direction of the lounge admidst the wows and oohs of Aeliana, whenever she caught sight of an item of interest. "You seem to be enjoying yourself a little too much." Engjell jokingly teased.
"What can I say, I do try." she threw her hair back pretensiously while Engjell made a gagging sound. Before they knew it, they reached their destination.
Atarah and Candida sat pretensiously at the lounge, snacking on what looked like a star fish snack, engrossed in a mysterious conversation whose contents was known only to them. Engjell and Aeliana exchanged a mischievious smile, then sneakily tiptoed to the oblivious two. They counted silently to three then jumped in front of them and made a roar sound, startling the two. Atarah and Candida screamed loudly, then leaped unto their chairs. Eyes darting around in search of danger.
On seeing the giggling her and Aeliana, she could have sworn she saw smoke floating from Atarah ears, and a vein threatening to pop out of Candida's forehead.
"You!" Atarah bit out the word through gritted teeth. She immediately jumped down, heading in her direction, while Candida headed in Aeliana's. Engjell quickly pulled the motionless robot, Uriel in front of her as a shield. Quickly reminding Atarah of their environment, putting a halt to her steps. She looks around furtively. Only breathing a sigh of relief when she saw the sparsely populated lounge, with only a few pedestrians in the distance, who paid them no mind. "You two should count yourself lucky today." Atarah directed at the two guilty fellows with a glare. Before Engjell and Aeliana could celebrate their victory, an ominous voice sounded.
"Are we really letting these two brats go." Candida spoke with barely contained malice.
"What do you suggest?" Atarah said, with a glint of deviousness present in her eyes.
"We were just about to go shopping." she suggested with a deceitfully sweet smile.
"We were. Hmm, it seems we have found the right punishment. I don't need to spell it out, do I ." Engjell shivered at the two's sweet smile, shaking her head quickly.
She pulled out the diamond card with a sense of ceremony, and with a puffed up chest, marched confidently towards the clothing section, throwing back a "follow me."
>Next up- shopping for an attack.
