Moana
I woke up, still reeling from the events of the previous night. Jericho's hurtful words about my father echoed in my mind, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of emotional turmoil.
Just as I was trying to take a bath, I sensed someone entering the room. It was Lucas, his face breaking into a warm smile as he caught sight of me.
I rushed to him, my voice barely above a whisper, "Lucas, you shouldn't be here. It's not safe," I scolded gently, but instead of heeding my warning, Lucas wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug.
"I was missing you all night. I had to check if you were alright," He whispered, the feeling his warm breath caused to my ear was overwhelming.
I smiled, feeling a sense of comfort in his embrace, "You're silly," I teased, hugging him back deeply. I had missed him too, and his hug meant more to me than I could express.
Lucas pulled back, eyes sparkling with warmth, "I have to go on a mission today. I'll be gone for the whole day,"
I looked at him, confusion etched on my face, "Do you have to go?" I asked, feeling a pang of anxiety. Lucas nodded, "Yes, I have to. But don't worry, I'll be back sooner than you think,"
I forced a smile, trying to hide my concerns. But as Lucas turned to leave, I felt a sense of unease wash over me.

I began to undress, expecting Jericho to pounce on me at any moment. But to my surprise, he stopped me, "Why so soon?" He asked, huskily. I froze, confusion etched on my face. What did he mean? Didn't he want to have me screwed?
But Jericho didn't seem interested in me at all. Instead, he dropped a sleek new mobile phone on the bed, "This is yours," He said, still carrying the usual cold look
I stared at the phone, my mind racing. This was the first time I'd ever held a mobile phone, although I had learned how to operate one from Richard's phone.
I picked up the phone reluctantly, feeling a mix of emotions, "Thank you," I muttered.
"Go back to your room," He said, curtly, almost immediately.
I didn't need to be told twice. I quickly gathered my clothes and made a hasty exit, feeling a wave of relief wash over me.
At least he didn't…I pushed the thought aside, not wanting to dwell on it. But as I walked back to my room, I couldn't shake off the feeling that his behavior was more complex than I had initially thought.
I sat on my bed, playing with the phone Jericho had given me, a sheepish grin spreading across my face. I never thought he'd give me something as valuable as this.
As I unwrapped the box, my smile grew even brighter. The phone sparkled in the light, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement.
My first instinct was to call Richard. I dialed his number, and after a few rings, he picked up, "Moana!" Richard screamed, voice echoing through the phone, "You have a phone! Your boss must be so nice," He exclaimed.
I knew this was just what my parents had told him to cover up their true intentions, so I played along, "Yeah, he's really great,"
"So, when are you coming to visit me?" He asked. I hesitated, knowing I had to be careful with the way I said things to him, "Soon, after my boss permits," I replied, trying to sound casual.
He let out a joyful whoop, "Yes! I'll be waiting! Oh, Moana, I've missed you so much. We'll have so much fun together,"
I couldn't help but laugh at his childish excitement, "I've missed you too. I'll see you soon,"

I entered Jericho's room, but he didn't even acknowledge my presence. His face was stiff, and extremely dangerous. But I didn't care, though. My mind was still reeling from my earlier conversation with Lucas.
I was happy knowing that Lucas would be there to protect me, no matter what Jericho had planned, "Have your shower," He growled.
I hesitated, but he wasn't looking at me. Instead, he was fiddling with two handcuffs and a chain. My heart skipped a beat as I wondered what he planned to do with them.
I reluctantly walked to his bathroom, stripping naked under his watchful gaze. But he still didn't look at me, and rather fixing his gaze on the handcuffs.
After my shower, I walked back to him, still naked. I wanted to grab my clothes to cover myself, but his shrill voice stopped me, "Don't," He snapped, eyes flashing with anger.
I didn't argue, knowing it was pointless. He had already seen me naked, after all. I waited for him to tell me to lie on the bed, but instead, he said, "Lie down while I take a shower,"
I did as he said, feeling a mix of emotions. A few minutes later, Jericho emerged from the bathroom, his eyes fixed on me. But I was already asleep, exhausted from everything that happened.
His eyes narrowed, anger flashing in them. He walked to his chair, grabbing a cigarette and smoking it with a deadly intensity.
As I slept, I clutched the wristband Lucas had given me earlier. His eyes caught sight of it, making him rose his brow in suprise.
He stared at it intently, making him the more furious. Why was I holding onto it so tightly, even in my sleep?
"What's so special about that damn wristband?" He muttered to himself.
