While it was weekend Asher suddenly received a text from Asher asking him to meet him at his house,since Asher had nothing going on he went over
There he saw the Number two hero standing outside with him,he wore a red top and a baggy jeans, Asher looked more calmer that when he was in school,almost too calm,he had no emotions shown on his face
"Sir Flare it's nice to meet you" He bowed but the man didn't seem to acknowledge him
'What did you call me over for bro' his said with his eye twitching under the bow
He then stood up and was met with the man looking at him with disdain,he couldn't help but also frown
'Its not like I wanted to be here in the first place's he lamented
"I had more hopes for your friends,looks like you're hanging out with the wrong people" Flare said gazing over at Alexander
Alexander who didn't even spare a glance busy with his phone typed away not giving his father an answer,he then looked up putting his phone in his pocket
"He's stronger than he looks" He said calmly
"Fine then, I guess I have to test him before we start training" Flare said ruffling his hair
They then went to a wide open field where there would be no disturbances, Flare help up a pair of mind which he put on Asher's body
As soon as it was done Asher quickly fell to the ground unable to move,it felt like a million trucks were placed on his body
"Our tech developers built this to train our body,if you're unable to handle this you're not fit to train under the number two hero" He said leaving as he and Alexander started to spar with each other
'Youre kidding me right,after all my training it amounted to nothing' He took a deep breath
He then started only pushing up his body for a bit but he fell down making a crack on the ground
'Shit...but it's all apart of the process' He thought
It was then afternoon,he was able to lift his body to a crawling position,he was sweating all over,he was breathing rapidly and his heart wouldn't allow down
'How could anyone withstand this' He thought struggling to balance
By evening managed to stand dragging his feets to flare's side,Both of them both had a look of indifference in their eyes
'You know I really don't appreciate this,if not for my mom I wouldn't be doing this at all'
"Mr Flare did I pass the test?" He voiced out tiredly
"To tell you the truth the people who tested it weren't able to withstand the weight" Flare said out
'Meaning he wanted me to fail,high class heroes aren't even reliable nowadays' he sighed
He then stood up straight finally able to move in the weights looking at Flare I the eye not willing to walk away
"Well your second task is to catch Alexander and Slander making sure you sue the new move I thought you on him" He said out
Asher couldn't run and jogged but but Alexander sent multiple fire balls coming his way but Asher managed to dodge it,he then stared at it still motionless in the air
'I know this trick' He thought
'too bad I don't know how to escape' he sighed
The fireballs then immediately aimed at him from all sides and hit him making all sides of him to be burnt,it seemed like Alexander lessened the force
Asher the moved his hand and then used all his strenghts to run and managed to land a solid punch in Alexander's face
The both of then then created a large fire ball Wich clashed with each other,both were using all their strength to push at it
"Come on" He mumbled
'I didn't make it this far for this' He grinded his teeth
He then gave it a last push sending the attack at Asher but Flare appeared in front of Alexander dispersing the attack
"That's enough" He said signalling the end of the sparing
"I expected more from you Alex"Flare said with his eyes darkening
Alexander looked at him with him with cold eyes,Asher could see some veins on his face as he observed
"I really don't need your expectations,do your job and teach me" Alexander ordered
"Is that anyway to speak to your father" Flare scolded
'This is getting out of control's He said snacking on some chips he brought
"Right now you're only my Trainer and nothing more" Alexander replied fiercely
'Family issues' Asher thought
"You disappoint me" Flare said out
"Not as much as you disappointed our family" Alexander retorted
'Damn'
When it was night time Asher went back home,Alexander didn't seems to be his usual self at home,it was almost too shocking
When he got back he went to his bed immediately collapsing on it,he decided not to take it of so he could improve his body more
'After all I've been to weak these past couple of days' He said to himself
He then proceeded to do about hundred push up, hundred sit ups, and hundred leg ups
By the time he was done he didn't have anymore energy to sleep on the bed to he just laid down on the floor
The next morning Asher got up early and did his daily workout,he then cooked some food and left to train with Flare
'Dont worry mom,I'll make sure I get those people in the end' He said going to the training field
He saw Alexander making circles of fire and walked up to Mr Flare to greet him so he could get started
"Do ten thousand sit ups"r flare instructed
"What..." he said as tiny dots appeared on his head
'How is this training,I haven't even gotten to use my powers!'
'And how the hell am I going to do ten thousand sit ups,that's .... Posible' He thought looking dejected
