After leaving the Academy, we both noticed a sign outside that read, "What did you learn today?" Larisa glanced at it and promptly scratched her head.
Lillian and Larisa made their way home. Lillian asked, "So, you didn't want anyone from school to see you today?"
"Well, at first I was lonely and just wanted to meet someone. That's why I let Eliza and Kai see me. But now I just want to have fun and prank people. There were so many chances to mess with people. I even felt the urge to lick Jyn's face and watch Jess take the blame. But I didn't, because he looked like he smelt."
There was too much unnecessary information that I didn't care about, but I was curious: "He looks like he smells? Can ghosts even taste or smell?" Lillian asked with genuine curiosity.
"He visually looked like he smelled," Larisa remarked.
"Ummm... okay. But you're mistaken. Jess is the one who smells, not Jyn."
They both laughed hysterically for a moment, temporarily forgetting their surroundings.
Larisa wasn't paying attention and almost collided with a lamppost. I shouted, "Look out!" as she casually drifted through it.
Lillian quickly transitioned from worry to frustration in mere seconds, thinking about how that had made her heart race for nothing.
"'Look out'? Huh~?" Larisa had no idea why she had shouted that. "I really like that Ashlyn girl. She's quite intriguing," Lillian confessed.
"Please... don't talk to me... for a while," Lillian requested. Her mind was swirling with faces, images, and snippets of conversations from the day and her life, akin to a fever dream. The silence between them grew awkward.
"You lost me," Larisa admitted, confused by the sudden silence. "I thought she was your friend."
Lillian swiftly turned around, staring at Larisa to try and determine if she was being sincere or not. She replied, "But now we've got a problem, you and I."
"I lied. I actually dislike her, but I do really like Eliza..." Larisa stopped and looked at Lillian, worried about her reaction.
"I like Eliza and Kai too," Lillian eventually replied.
Relief washed over Larisa's face upon hearing Lillian's response.
