Chapter IV: Grief
On that same day, Charlotte is left by her father Henry in the diner. Some kids have already colored wristbands while she has green. The Puppet is nearby the door to protect Charlotte. However, some kids lock her out of the restaurant and the Puppet's box have been locked with boxes stack unto it. As Charlotte looks inside, a purple car pulled up in front of her. So at that very moment, William thought that what if, if Henry's robots had killed his son, so what if he needs to have a killing of his own on his property. As he stares at Charlotte for 16 seconds, he stabs her and putting her body in an alleyway. He thinks,
"First your creation have killed my son, now I killed your daughter. Symmetry, my friend!"
He laughs like a maniac then gets in his car and droves off.
After the day at Fredbear's, The Puppet finally bursts out of its box and even though it's raining, it wants to find Charlotte. It gets to the dumpster while the servos and circuits had already malfunctioning due to fluid getting inside. It finally reaches Charlotte's body and it's blackout for the puppet. However, Charlotte's spirit emerges from her body and possesses the Puppet. She (as the puppet) gets back to the restaurant.
The next day, authorities uncover the dead body of a girl in the alleyway and as Henry goes to see it, it turns out to be Charlotte. He is now in sorrow and grief, that his only daughter had died. Because of the tragedies, Fredbear's Family Diner closed. Fredbear's springlocks get taken out, while both animatronics get transferred to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Both William and Henry are now in grief. Henry is in Fredbear's checking the whole place, while William in his house office.
Henry:
I don't know what I was thinking
Leaving my child behind
Now I suffer the curse and now I am blind
With all this anger, guilt and sadness
Coming to haunt me forever
I can't wait for the cliff at the end of the river
Is this revenge I am seeking?
Or seeking someone to avenge me?
Stuck in my own paradox, I wanna set myself free
Maybe I should chase and find
Before they'll try to stop it
Charlotte:
It won't be long before I'll become a puppet
Henry:
It's been so long
Since I last have seen my child lost to this monster
To the man behind the slaughter
As both in a split screen back against each other, William side-eye looks at Henry
Henry:
Since you've been gone
I've been singing this stupid song so I could ponder
The sanity of your mother
Henry can't concentrate on his job. He remembers when he left Charlotte at the restaurant where she got locked out and as he finally gets to the restaurant, it was late.
Henry:
I wish I lived in the present
With the gift of my past mistakes
But the future keeps lurking in like a pack of snakes
Your sweet little eyes, your little smile is all I remember
Those fuzzy memories mess with my temper
Justification is killing me
But killing isn't justified
What happened to my child? I'm terrified
It lingers in my mind
And the thought keeps on getting bigger
I'm sorry my sweet baby, I wish I've been there
It's been so long
Since I last have seen my child lost to this monster
To the man behind the slaughter
Split screen again, while William displays an eerie smile.
Henry:
Since you've been gone
I've been singing this stupid song so I could ponder
The sanity of your mother
Henry cries.
