"Yeah, to the time before I become, Shadow Monarch."
"Wow, cool. But wait! Why do you need me? You yourself should be able to solve everything with your power."
"That's the problem. 100 years isn't a short time. Rewinding that many years back in the past needs a lot of power. It will need almost all of my powers just to send you. I will need years to recover all of my power. I want you to protect Earth while I recover because I don't know if I'll recover before the enemies arrive. They will retain their memories before I rewind the time, after all. So they can come faster."
"Ah, so it's like that. It's just like the case with the Cup of Reincarnation, huh? It rewinded time, but beings like Monarchs & Rulers could keep their memories."
"You're right, and rewinding 100 years has a heavy price. Even the Cup of Reincarnation could only rewind for 10 years. It could be used many times to rewind 10 years, but it eventually broke. Now I want to rewind for 100 years and I don't have a tool like the Cup of Reincarnation."
"What?! Then how will you rewind the time if you don't have a tool like the Cup of Reincarnation? And what's the price?"
"It will cost my memory and power as Shadow Monarch. I won't lose them, but they'll get sealed for a few years before returning slowly. I have made some preparations for it though, so don't worry. My memory will return when Gates starts appearing and I'll start recovering my power too by then because magic starts filling Earth's atmosphere. That's why I need you to protect Earth from Monarchs & other invaders until I recover. My power will also decline because I will mainly use my power."
"So basically I need to do anything to protect Earth until then?"
"Yeah, so how is it?"
"Well, I want to live again, even if it's dangerous. And a man like me just can't say no to getting great power."
"You have my thanks. Now let's cross to our world, or should I say our universe because you are from Earth in a different universe."
The scenery suddenly changes into a rather dark throne room. Jin Woo sits on the big throne and the young soul sees what he only saw on his phone before, the shadow army. He recognizes a few figures like Igris, but he doesn't see Beru. He doesn't dare to ask though.
"Do you accept it?"
"Yeah, I will help you."
Jin Woo suddenly created a massive gate and took out massive corpse from the gate.
"Well, I don't know if you recognise that thing, but that is corpse of the Absolute Being. We need it. I need that corpse as the medium to rewind the time. The Absolute Being was the one that created the Cup of Reincarnation, so he has the power of time. His corpse should have the remains of that power even after he died for eons. I was searching for that corpse, so I couldn't meet you with before."
"So you use that corpse to replace the Cup of Reincarnation?"
"Basically yeah, about the Absolute Being's corpse, yeah, I'll use it to replace the Cup of Reincarnation. But because it's not a real tool, I need to use a lot of power."
"Anyway, have you read the story about me that we spread in your world?"
"Yes, sir! I've read the novel and manhwa."
"Good, that will help you in your mission. But you need to know that things won't go like that story. Not only will I lose my memory & power for years, but the Monarchs will revive and surely will try to take over the Earth again. The Rulers have died too after helping me and only one of them is still alive now. They'll also revive, so they'll help us to hold back the Monarch. But don't depend too much on it and always be careful of the Monarchs."
"About your power, I will give you some abilities of your choice. But you can't take it all at once, you need to grow and adapt to it slowly. You will get a system similar to what I used, the one made by the Architect to integrate Shadow Monarch's power into my body. But the system you receive will be different because you won't receive power from any Godly beings."
"The system I made will absorb some of the power of magical beings you defeated, just like how game characters gained XP. It's actually the same as me, except that I got my XP from Ashborn while you get your XP from magical beings you kill."
"Well, aside from me being weakened so I can't send you our power, I will also get weakened even more if we give you our power like Ashborn."
"Ooh, that's alright, it's still very cool. But will that really be enough?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean Sir Jin Woo, you have a lot of soldiers to fight the Monarchs' army. However, I will be alone until you recovers and we don't know how long it will take. No matter how strong I become, I am still just 1 person against millions."
"You are right, but I don't have other options now. Sending one soul while rewinding time to the past is already hard, so sending more people is impossible. Our only hope is the Rulers' army. They will hold the Monarchs' army as best as they can while you handle the ones that slip past them."
"Hmm, if that's the case, then we need to make a plan so I won't be protecting the Earth alone. I actually have an idea. This is one of the few fantasies I always imagined if I lived in your world. I don't know if it's possible though."
"What is it? Tell me and I'll see if it's possible."
The young soul starts telling them his idea to see if it can be done. Jin Woo is quite surprised by this idea.
"It's possible to do that although I need to have some security measures. That's easy to do. I will just give you some skills that you needs for this."
"Thank you for approving this idea. By the way, those powerful beings will still have their memories after we rewind the time just like the Monarchs, right?"
"Correct. But their worlds are very far, so it will take a very long time for them to reach Earth. The closest threats are still the Monarchs."
"Then what about the previous Shadow Monarch? Will he revive? And what about the Architect of the system? I'm afraid he will go to help the Monarchs."
"It's difficult to explain, but Ashborn can't revive even if I rewind the time because he has become me. About the Architect, I have made arrangements for him."

They discuss some more things and the details of their plan. The Godly being never thought that the young man he chose could give him some unexpected ideas. Most of his ideas come from stories he read and his imagination.
"Now, let's start the procedure if you're ready. Not all of your ideas are possible, but your out-of-the-box thinking can be very helpful for our plan. So you can improve my plan later based on your judgment of the situation. Now then, let's proceed with our extermination plan."
