"I CAN'T SEE!" I panicked rubbing my eyes trying to find something, anything that will tell me I wasn't blind.
I was becoming more frantic and desperate, seconds kept ticking by before I heard a voice....
"Calm down, you aren't blind, just in a white sensory space," a calm and calculated voice spoke, but it did sound feminine.
'Knock it off you horny bastard,' I thought to myself. The voice continued after a brief pause.
"If you spin around, or do a 180, you will find a table with me waiting there, please hurry, time is limited." The almost robotic like female voice said to me.
I spun around to see a table and a figure sitting across a small 2 person table. I walked over, slowly and cautiously as I was still in a dazed state. As I reached the table and took my seat, the figure that sat across from me, who, most definitely had a voluptuous feminine figure. Her head piece that covered her face and the sundress that practically covered every inch of her not all of her.
Her hands, neck, feet and her pointy ears were a light alabaster color. Her hair was a platinum blonde, almost white. But what drew me back to her presence, was not her trying to get my attention, but a small screen...

I just grunted at the information displayed in front my me. I was in slight shock, but I learned to roll with the punches long ago.
"You don't seem to reacting the way most of the survivors are right now. You seem rather calm for a world altering event."
"Not much really will change now will it? Humans will still be humans or not, act civilized or not, or pet power go to their heads or not. I won't let that happen to me, and it starts right here."
There was a silence that lingered a little too long for comfort but it was broken by the feminine figure, "hmm, seems a didn't make the wrong choice after all," she muttered just loud enough for me to hear hear.
I couldn't bite my tongue after hearing what she said, "what do you mean,didn't make the wrong choice?" My anger apparent in the way I retorted to her muttering.
She was startled, either by the way I responded with utter disgust to being a reduced to a piece in a game of hers or the hate of being used as a play piece or thing in a game. Whatever she was about to say died on her lips.
"Is there anything else that I need to know about this whole world altering event?" I asked, my voice cold and emotionless. I had no more reason to talk anymore than I had to, I really hate being like this but I dislike... no, I whole heartily hate playing to someone else's tune.
"Yes, you and everyone else will be given a system with a random class that will either allow you to rule or be ruled. I do not know what you or anyone else will be given but, I will give you this bit of information that may elevate your mood. That woman, Kasey was it, will be at your side when the integration is over. you will be in an immediate battle for your lives with your fellow man. I will give you an extra boon as soon as the integration is over I will boost you and your companion to be able to level faster than the rest, and it will be a growth boon," I don't know why, but I could almost tell that she was smirking under her veil.
"Fine, keep your secrets," I played along with her and earned a giggle that sounded like wind chimes in a light breeze. She explained that her time was almost up and that once she left the system would become active and that it will hurt... A LOT.

Some time has passed since the introducer, which will be her name until whenever. A comfortable silence followed her departure only to be interrupted by the inevitable transparent screen of pain in my ass. I, as the arrogant human I was, thought that what she said about the pain upon integration of the system was a lie and I could handle it... boy was I wrong.
'FUCK!' I screamed internally as my entire body became completely tense, almost to the point I felt as if I was an orange being squeezed for my juice. The pain was unending, passing through my body and making experience something I never have before. Minutes, hours, weeks, months or even years may have passed, but it still persisted. I never experienced any form a physical torture before, but this may never be topped by anything I will experience in the future.... hopefully.
I could only endure for so long before I wound up blacking out from the pain....

(Some time later)
My eyes opened slowly, pain still lingered throughout my body sending small jolts everywhere as I just breathed. I attempted to move my hands to see if they would move and they did, then my arms, toes, feet, legs and then finally my head and torso. I was racked with even more pain as I moved, I also felt extremely sore everywhere, like I had only ever done full body exercises my whole life.
I knew I couldn't sit there until all my pain was gone because I would be there for days. I tried to get up not knowing how much time I had left.
"Ugh," I groaned the entire time until I was on my feet. I stood there still in a little pained daze, shaking my head to see if I can readjust myself to become more aware of my surroundings.
When my head did slow down its spinning, I was able to see the screen that has probably been in front of me the whole time.....

"Damn! 70 whole hours! What happened to me while I was out!?" If I was smarter than I was, which I am not, the transparent screen popped up in front of me. I can guarantee if the screen had hands it would have slapped me and pointed to itself as an explanation.

"Nice," I smiled, looking down and seeing the names I was associated with. Merlin and Kratos, one blessed and one cursed, Lets see how this goes.
*Class and Subclass explanations: This will a unique take on classes and subclasses for important characters. This will get quite hard for me later down the road so the names will be a representative to what they stylize in. Names hold power of their legend, each name can be enhanced or changed if your legend becomes stronger. better explanation next chapter for everything.
