How do I even start this? Let's just go with the flow.
Elmore Academy is one of the top Academies In Arendelle.
Inside Elmore academy, everything seems like a normal school—or does it?
In one of the classrooms, ten students sit in silence as a teacher stands at the front, delivering a lecture. From the students' body language, it's clear they aren't interested in what's being taught. Many of them keep glancing at the clock on the wall, anticipation and excitement written all over their faces.
"...And that concludes the history of Elmore Academy," the teacher, Mr. James, says, closing his book.
At the back of the classroom, a boy scoffs, glaring at the teacher. "This is the same stuff you've been teaching since day one—about the history of Elmore Academy, how great the first dean was, blah blah blah. Come on, Mr. James, we already know all of this."
Mr. James doesn't seem offended by the boy's tone. Instead, he clears his throat and faces the class. "I know you all already know the basics, but it's part of my job to teach them," he says, casting a glance at the boy who spoke earlier, causing him to roll his eyes.
The students groan but remain silent. Mr. James continues, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"But I also know you're all pretty excited for the freshman tryouts today, right?"
The students beam, their faces lighting up with anticipation.
"Today marks the end of the basic classes. Next, we'll move on to practicals and training," he adds.
The boy, Harry, who spoke earlier, scoffs again. "Sir, I think you're confused. Today's the last day of class. After this, we'll be with our respective groups for good."
"Oh, you're so wrong, Harry," Mr. James replies with a grin that could only be described as villainous. "Although you'll be accepted into different groups today, you won't be with them full-time until you spend another month here to get accustomed to your powers—and to receive a letter of recommendation from me."
The entire class is stunned.
"What!" they chorus in disbelief.
A girl who had been staring at the clock earlier, Emma, stands up and looks at Mr. James. "Can we go now? We're getting late."
"Be patient, Emma. I still have something to say," Mr. James replies. "A quick heads-up: things aren't as simple as they seem in the various groups. Stay prepared at all times. Now, you may go."
Emma quickly gathers her things and leaves, beaming. Her classmates follow suit, leaving only Harry and Mr. James in the classroom. Harry shoots Mr. James a questioning look, but the teacher merely shrugs and sits down.
As Harry leaves, Mr. James sighs.

Centuries ago, for reasons still unknown, humans with supernatural powers began to emerge across the world. Although not everyone possessed these godlike abilities, they coexisted peacefully—until these powers started falling into the wrong hands. People with various motives surfaced: some sought to take over cities, countries, or even the world. Others became criminals, using their powers for selfish gain.
Fear spread among ordinary humans, and they became wary of the gifted few. For years, those with powers faced criticism and persecution. Governments around the world tried to control these superhumans for their own purposes, referring to them as "Supernaturals."
Eventually, the Supernaturals had enough and decided to break away from society. One of the earliest Super beings, reached into the silence of the Void, a plane untouched by creation, and molded it into a haven, where the Supernaturals live in isolation, away from the eyes of the Ordinary humans.
This New World is called Novatera
For a time, the world was peaceful. But this peace didn't last. Rogue Supernaturals began reappearing back in the Normal World, causing chaos and fear among regular humans. Unable to handle these rogue elements on their own, the governments sought help from the Supernaturals, who agreed to lend a helping hand only under the condition that the government would not interfere in their affairs.
Despite their return, tensions remained, as some humans still opposed their presence.

Back in the present, Emma walks excitedly with the other students towards the field where the tryouts will take place.
This is Emma Aeonhart, the only daughter of the wealthy and influential Aeonhart family, known for their time manipulation abilities. The Aeonhart family is one of the four leading supernatural families in Elmore City.
In the vibrant yet complex city of Elmore, four powerful families vie for control, each possessing unique abilities that shape their influence over the realm.
The Erebos family is shrouded in mystery, known for their mastery over darkness. Each member wields this power with proficiency, allowing them to manipulate shadows in various ways. Among them is Harry, the second son of the current family head. The Erebos lineage is ancient, believed to have originated with the very first darkness manipulator. Their reputation for secrecy and expertise in information gathering makes them a formidable force, controlling most of the information agencies across Arendelle. It is within the realms of intelligence, surveillance, and espionage that the Erebos truly excel, holding sway over the city's hidden machinations.
Then there are the VortexWalkers, a family of dimensional travelers renowned for their ability to traverse any space at will. Though they may lack strength in close combat, they become lethal adversaries in open fields, where their agility and escape tactics shine. With the power to outmaneuver their foes, they excel in sectors related to transportation, logistics, and trade routes, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and people throughout Elmore, and Arendelle in general.
The Sylvanwood family, often called the "darlings of Nature," possesses the extraordinary ability of Nature Synchronization. They can converse with plants and animals alike, forming bonds that grant them unparalleled strength in natural environments. They are also gifted healers, capable of using their connection to nature to mend wounds and cure ailments. Additionally, their affinity allows them to tame beasts, forging powerful alliances with the wildlife of the land. Fighting a Sylvanwood in a forest is akin to shooting oneself in the knee, as their mastery over nature becomes a formidable weapon. Their control extends to food market. Moreover, they hold significant influence in the medical sector, utilizing their healing abilities to provide care and remedies for the citizens of Elmore.
Lastly, there are the Aeonharts, the newest of the four great families, gifted with the rare ability to manipulate time. Despite their recent ascent to power, they are not to be underestimated. Their foresight allows them to see events hours before they unfold, granting them a strategic edge over their rivals.
Together, these families form a complex tapestry of power and influence, each playing a crucial role in the intricate dynamics of Elmore City.
Elmore, a city ranked just behind the Capital in the country of Arendelle, is home to four powerful families: Erebos, VortexWalker, Sylvanwood, and Aeonhart. Together, these families, along with the City Lord's House—the Emperor's representative—control different parts of Elmore. Collectively, they are regarded as "One House, One Academy, and the Four Great Families."
Arendelle is divided into cities ranked from S (the highest) to D. The capital, Khaotica City, is the only S-ranked city and serves as the Emperor's residence. Although Elmore is classified as an A-ranked city, it is important to note that the four great families are not any weaker than the various powerful factions in Khaotica.
As the freshmen gather on the large field, a stage is set up with rows of chairs for the representatives of the different groups in the academy. Although Elmore Academy has many groups, four groups are known for being the most powerful, each more like a sect than a simple club.
The Shadows of Erebos, specializing in espionage, stealth, and intelligence gathering. Named after the ancient family of darkness manipulators, they excel in using shadows to their advantage, mastering the art of secrecy and covert operations. Led by Lysander Erebos, the son of the First Elder of the Erebos Family.
Vortex Vanguards, prioritizing agility, quick thinking, and dimensional travel. Named after the VortexWalker family, masters of traversing dimensions, this group trains students in escape tactics, logistics, and rapid deployment strategies. Led by Seraphina VortexWalker, daughter of the family head of the VortexWalkers.
The Sylvan Guardians, focusing on nature synchronization, healing arts, and beast taming. Named after the Sylvanwood family, known for their affinity with nature, students in this group learn to heal and nurture using natural energies, while also forming bonds with creatures of the wild. Led by Thorne Sylvanwood, son of the family head of the Sylvanwood.
And finally, the only group not controlled by one of the families among the Big Four.
The Mystic Phantoms, shrouded in mystery, led by Mark, a figure of unknown origin and unparalleled power. Even the heads of the great families respect and fear this enigmatic leader, whose identity remains elusive. The group operates with utmost secrecy, its members chosen for their unique abilities and unwavering loyalty.
The Aeonhart family, despite being one of the four great families in Elmore City, lacks an official group in Elmore Academia. Their status as a new family—being relatively young with few members—limits their influence. Emma is the only second-generation member, which contributes to their struggle for acceptance. Until they establish themselves further and gain the trust of the other families, they remain without a designated faction.
The group representatives sit, reviewing files, already having decided which students they will recruit.
"Nervous?" Harry's voice cuts through the air as he approaches Emma with a grin, a chilling aura following him.
Emma rolls her eyes, ignoring him. Although she doesn't have that much impression of Harry, she knows better than to provoke him. Like her, Harry comes from one of the four great families, The Erebos. Harry, the second son of the Erebos Family Head, is already set to join a group thanks to his older brother, a deputy leader.
As Harry walks toward the stage, Emma shivers from the dark aura that seems to emanate from him—a passive effect of his darkness powers.
The representatives begin calling out the names of those they've chosen. One by one, students step forward to join their groups.
Minutes later, most of the students have been chosen, except for those still standing—Emma among them, her eyes growing watery. Not being chosen right away means they'll have to go through a test.
"Oh my God, Lucas is making a move!" one of the representatives exclaims as the figure representing the Mystic Phantoms group stands up.
Emma, lost in her thoughts, doesn't notice the representative approaching her until he speaks. "Emma Aeonhart, you are welcome to join the our group," he says, handing her an emblem. "Come to our headquarters later to complete the process."
Without waiting for a response, the representative walks off the field. The other group leaders seem unsurprised by this, knowing the Mystic Phantoms always chooses few members, if they will at all—Emma being their only selection this year, or so she thought.
