Sam stood out in the open surrounded by exorcist, now in his fifteen years of existence he never thought that he would be caught like these. He always thought he would be caught by one of his fathers Hellhounds.
"Samuel, child of the Dark one, today is the day of your execution" It's not like he cared if he died, Sam was definitely not bothered by death, at most his soul would just disappear into oblivion…or to hell.
The exorcist didn't take too long and immediately cut off his head in a flash of imperceptible speed.
And thus the end of a Devil-Spawn.
Well in this world ofcourse.
In another world, a boy with black hair and orange eyes was reading a book—until his eyes were covered in a strange mist. "huh, wait i died in another world as a demon?"
Sam remembered it clearly, the soul that was just killed transferred into his own and fused with him but he still kept his identity, but influenced by a bit of the foreign soul too. "Cool, that world sounds much more developed than this one…hmm but they do seem to be lacking in Spirit Energy or LifeBeasts, but the demons used an energy similar to some of the unloved races of the world"
Sam got up his bed and then suddenly stopped, his face slightly twitched. Something was terribly wrong, he sat down in a lotus position and closed his eyes, when he opened them back, he could be seen in his soul sea a spiritual place where his spirit energy thrived but at the moment it was like a turbulent storm that was about to turn the sea into an inescapable whirlpool.
And that whirlpool was forming right under the lifeless Lifebeast egg. "And today is the day i turn fifteen and this happens, now the composition of my soul has gone through a complete rebirth, it seems my Lifebeast will be a Variation of some sort"
He sighed hopelessly, there were some benefit of the merge between two souls, for example his soul sea became denser and more compact. So he stayed and mediated there to stabilize the change.
Though it hurt a lot—no it hurt like hell. Sam was able to withstand the merge and now he is floating above a slightly silver and orange soul sea. His Life beast egg was now a pure black with orange patterns surrounding it.
In the physical world, Sam opened his eyes and breathed out a huff of air, The Lifeless egg finally gained life. "Well, it looks like i have to bring egg out for an entire week in order for it ti hatch now…"
He didn't think much of it, he snapped his fingers and a faint silver light appeared in feont of him and then his eff appeared, he ofcourse caught it before it fell on the ground.
"Hello little guy, let's go meet mom" Sam smiled happily and went out of his room.
"Mom my life beast just arrived" Sam said with a cheerful voice.
"Meow?!! hisssss!!" And then he tripped on his mothers life beat in its Small form, it was a three tailed brown cat.
It glared at sam who balanced himself so he wouldn't break the egg. "….You…i actually can't with you today"
The cat gave a huff to him and walked away with its tail proudly behind it's legs. Sam's eyes twitched with annoyance and didn't give anymore attention to the pretentious little creature.
A woman with long brown hair came out from the corner, her amber eyes scanned her son for a moment before a smile adorned her face.
"My handsome son had finally reached the age of adulthood…i almost don't want to let you go" Her voice suddenly turned threatening as her amber eyes narrowed dangerously. "But you're not planning on running off to some forbidden corner of the world, are you, Sam?"
Sam shuddered slightly at his mother's tone but quickly regained his composure, balancing the black-and-orange patterned egg carefully in his arms. "Of course not, Mom. I wouldn't dare… at least not yet," he said with a mischievous grin.
The woman sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You truly are your father's son. Always so reckless and curious." She reached out, gently placing her hand over the Lifebeast egg. A faint golden glow emitted from her palm, and the egg vibrated slightly in response.
"oh, it seems to be of the same species as Bell, A Celestial Moon Earth Feline, but the attributes seems to be from your fathers side so it should be called A celestial Moon Obsidian Feline, but it is mixe with a bit of solar attributes…hmm yeah i knew this was going to happen, how troublesome" She said with a sigh but she was not sighing because she was disappointed nope she was proud of her som for being unique, she was sighing because of some other matter.
'My father did say i shouldn't marry a foreigner but that man made my heart jump through multiple stages of love' She looked at the confused expression of her son and smiled.
She patted his head gently. my"Don't worry son, it's not something bad, but i should probably give you your birthday present"
"what is it?" Sam asked curiously.
Seiya chuckled and then brought out a small box from her apron pocket. "It's a necklace that proves that you are in of the Main heirs of the Celestial Earth Moon Clan"
"…" Sam.
":)" Seiya.
"Ehm so…Context".
"Well your mom is apart of the Celestial EarthMoon Clan that lives in the spirit realm, i am one of the children of the Clanmaster and very soon my stupid father will make someone to bring me back and i don't want you to follow me so i will give you the necklace to awaken the Celestial Moon bloodline to make sure you are not attacked by them, is that understandable." She replied cheerfully…
Sam stared at her with blank eyes. "Yeah, i understand completely. Totally normal birthday conversation," he said sarcastically, holding the egg a little tighter in his arms.
Seiya smiled sweetly, ignoring his sarcasm. "Good. Now, go meditate with your Lifebeast egg. You'll need to strength"
She opened thw case and brought out a crescent moon necklace, it was gold colored. "Make sure you don't get lost in meditation"
"ok" She put the necklace on him and he went on his merry way.
Sam wondered why his mother just told him now. "why did she mention dad, didn't she hate him for leaving me and her?"
Sam continued his way outside of his house and into the city. In this world when teenagers reach fifteen which is the age of adulthood, a Lifebeast will be born from their soul sea which they can acess as they want.
People of this world have three things they should take care of in order for them to live with no troubles, first and foremost is the soul sea, it can be invaded by sicknesses that are native to this world or just people who have the power to affect souls.
The second is the MindScape. It is a mental landscape where 'knowledge' can be kept, they can also 'train' in the mental landscape by envisioning their opponent.
The last is their beasts, for without a beast they can't fully cultivate spirit energy, it is possible to still cultivate spirit energy without one but it is incredibly difficult but some bloodlines fix that issue a lot of times.
Sam didn't do anything worthwhile outside, he just walked around and avoided trouble but it seems trouble looked for him. She stood in front of him with a pink egg in her arms, the girl had purple eyes and pink hair.
"If it isn't Sam, so today was your birthday too" She said with a small smile on her face.
Sam wanted to turn around and walk away but that is currently impossible. "Hey Ria"
"I was about to go to your house but meeting you here saves me the trouble, Sam i am inviting you to the Docturn manor" She said with a slight blush on her face.
Sam tilted his head slightly. "Why? not to be rude but we are not really…friends or have the greatest relationship for friendship"
"I am aware of that, but i am inviting you because you're the only one of my age in this city, A Master from the Grand Pavilion is coming to help us in choosing which direction we will be going after we leave our various homes" She held the egg gently again her chest.
Sam thought for a moment about her invitation, it is beneficial if a master taught him. "Sure i don't mind, when am i supposed to arrive?"
Ria thought for a moment. "Well he arrived today but he will stay for an entire week, so for the next seven days, you can come"
"see you tomorrow"
"ok"
The two parted ways, sam continued to go around the city and he returned home by the evening. After entering the house he went to meet his mom Seiya and went to his room.
It was time for meditation. Sam sat in a lotus position with the egg in the middle, he closed his eyes and entered his soul sea.
The sun that was usually shining brightly in his soul sea slightly dimmed, A crescent moon was fused with it making his soul sea a bizarre spectacle. "…The sun is definitely from dad, should i awaken the bloodline…it may act up due to the sun though…i think it won't be that much of a problem"
And he intiatwd his soul seas movement that wasn't the only that was moving even in his mindscape a similar sun and moon hybrid was being formed.
But before that could happen, a strange phenomenon happened.
Humanity usually misinterprets a lot of things beyond their understanding and even if they did understand, it wasn't correct.
What is a demon, a being of pure evil with nothing but hate in their heart. that was what humans understanding of a demon.
But to higher beings, a demon is a celestial being that was casted out by the divine for going against their rule. So the demons created their own 'Divine'.
At the moment, the soul which fused with sam was influencing his bloodline awakening.
The moon started glowing in a feint silver light but lines of glowing obsidian ran around it. The sun darkened until it became a searing orange color.
It was a dark but beautiful sight. The celestial sun and moon hybrid in Sam's soul sea pulsed with a powerful rhythm, sending ripples of energy across the turbulent sea. The obsidian lines along the moon shimmered with an ethereal glow, while the orange sun radiated a heavy, oppressive heat. It was as if two celestial forces, both divine and infernal, were trying to coexist in the same fragile space.
Sam gritted his teeth as pressure built in his chest. His soul sea felt like it was being torn apart and stitched back together in real time. Sweat dripped down his forehead in the physical world as his breathing grew shallow and ragged.
"Focus, Sam. Stabilize it." He told himself.
In the depths of his soul sea, a sound began to echo—a faint hum, like a chorus of whispers resonating through the void. The Lifebeast egg, floating before him, absorbed both the silvery moonlight and the searing orange radiance.
Sam's hair became silver and orange streaks were painted on the edges, if someone were to use a microscope, they would see small obsidian lines on every strand of his hair.
it didn't stop there as two small buds appeared on his head. They resembled the horns of an infant creature.
After a while, sam opened his eyes which were a silvery orange. The egg was normal but that wouldn't be true. he would have to wait a week for it to hatch,Sam exhaled deeply as he emerged from his meditation, his chest heaving as though he had just run a marathon. The energy coursing through him felt raw and untamed, but at the same time, he could sense an immense power lying dormant within him—and within the egg.
He glanced down at the black egg with glowing orange patterns, now resting calmly in his lap. It pulsed faintly, as though it had a heartbeat of its own.
"A Celestial Moon Obsidian Feline… mixed with solar attributes… and now influenced by whatever my soul fusion did." Sam thought as he reached up to feel the two small horn buds on his head. They were smooth but sturdy, barely protruding from his scalp.
"Horns, huh? Guess I can't exactly pass for an average teenager anymore."
Before he could think too much about it, a knock came at his door.
"Sam? Dinner's ready. You've been in there for hours," his mother's voice called softly.
"Coming, Mom," Sam replied, carefully placing the egg in a padded basket lined with soft cloth. He gave one last glance at his reflection in a small mirror hanging by his wall. His silvery-orange eyes glowed faintly in the dim light, and his streaked hair shimmered under the faint moonlight filtering through the window.
