Three students were standing in a room of OCA- they were none other than Sachin and Vishal. In front of them was a man sitting on a chair, who was none other than Sanjay Mehta, a second year teacher. Sanjay Mehta shouted, "What are you guys joking about? You didn't even see the face of the person who beat you up and he thrashed you so badly and went away. Just think, if people come to know that a second year student got beaten up by someone and he didn't even see him, then my class will get a bad name."
Then Sachin said in fear, "That... that...," Sachin could say something else, but Sanjay said, "What that, nothing! I don't want to hear anything, nor know anything. Find out the person who did all this to you and teach him such a lesson that the students get scared. People start trembling on hearing the name of class A."
On hearing this, Sachin and Vishal were about to leave, when Sanjay stopped them and said, "Do you remember what I said? What happened to that work?" To which Vishal said, "We are finding out."
Now that Max knew that the information about the Black Flame Apple would be found in the library, he decided to leave Anna and go there. But he had some questions in his mind. While walking, he said to himself, "Tell me one thing, what will happen to me when my life time ends? Will I die?"
To this the AI said, "I have been programmed in the system in such a way that I cannot tell this even if I want to. When the time comes, you will know it yourself."
Max had reached the library. He saw that there was a huge crowd outside the library. Lily, Abhay and Robert were also standing outside. Just then Rudra came out from the crowd of students. Max went to Rudra and asked, "What is happening here? Why is there so much crowd here?"
Without saying anything, Rudra took her by the hand and took her away and said in a soft voice, "Max, do you remember we went to that secret basement and a spirit got free from us. Maybe it is creating havoc in the library. It burnt all the books in the library and a scary sound is also coming. When one of the OCA teachers went inside, he was beaten very badly. That spirit was about to kill him, but Master Robert came there and saved him from there. Now the library has been locked and everyone has been forbidden to go inside. I am very scared. What will happen if that spirit comes out of the library?"
Max was shocked to hear this. This means that now he will not be able to get information about the Black Apple. He was not able to understand what to do. Then he thought, "Anna may have some information, if she finds out anything then I will also come to know."
Max left from there saying that he will meet Rudra later. He had to find Anna, and besides, Max hadn't even seen the OCA properly yet. While searching for Anna, Max stopped at a gate. It read: "Practice Hall".
Max felt like going in and went inside. The hall was huge and had a lot of training equipment. Max looked around and saw that it was empty, there was no one there yet. Max thought it might be because of the commotion in the library, but still, what did it matter? He had a great chance to test his powers.

Today was a special day for Max at the OCA. It was his first time in the training hall. His eyes were wandering around—a huge place, with something different happening in every corner. Punching bags hung from the walls, and reflex machines reacted to rapidly flashing lights. Huge treadmills and weight lifting machines made the place feel energetic.
This place was more grand and technical than he had imagined. OCA's instructors and students pushed their limits here.
"So, this is OCA's famous training hall," Max said slowly.
His eyes were scanning every corner, as if he was trying to understand everything.

A mysterious corner
Max walked slowly forward. Looking at each machine carefully, he stopped near the punching bags and twisted his hands, as if thinking about how to use them. But then, his eyes fell on a corner of the hall, where the atmosphere was a little different than the rest of the place.
In that corner stood a large round chamber. There was a light blue light around it, which made it stand out from the rest of the place.
"What is this? Why does it look so different from the rest of the equipment?" he said to himself.
He decided to approach the chamber. As he approached, a low buzzing sound filled his ears. It seemed as if this chamber was hiding some secret.

Fear and Curiosity at First Sight
Max approached the chamber. Its surface was made of metal, and strange scripts were engraved on it.
"What is this writing? I have never seen such devices in OCA before," Max said to himself.
Above the door was a plate that read:
"Timeloop Chamber: Enter to challenge your limits."
Max stepped back a little as he read the plate.
"Timeloop Chamber? The name itself sounds scary."
Suddenly, his system screen activated.
"New Challenge Available: Enter the Timeloop Chamber. Go inside the door to begin the challenge."
Max looked at the screen and looked carefully at the chamber.
"Does my system want me to go in? But why?"

The door opens on its own
Max slowly walked up and stood near the chamber door. He thought there might be a button to open it, but there was nothing.
As soon as he touched his fingers to the surface of the door, the door slowly opened on its own. The scene inside was completely black.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew out from within the chamber, and with it a resonating voice:
"Go ahead and accept the challenge."
Max's heart began to beat faster. He composed himself and took a deep breath.
"It's just a machine... or maybe something more than that."
